The first time we went the food was amazing,this time my oxtail were tough,my chicken tasted old

Considering the prices, I think all dishes should be made to order. I’d much rather wait for fresh food than pay for meals that are clearly not freshly prepared.

Our server was very nice, but the food was ...not that good. The j chicken was very mild and seemed like it was cooked hours ago and kept warm. I did like the pumpkin rice. Probably won't return. View menu

Listen...... if you don't go here for your Jamaican food or just dinner in general then Idk where yal eat, because this is the best Jamaican food I've ever eaten and definitely take some of the best from food I've ever had!

We decided to dine in, but unfortunately, all the food came in styrofoam and plastic containers. The soup, served in a tall take-out style container, was hard to enjoy at the table—it was a bit of a challenge eating it with a fork! In the end, I took it home. The rice and plantains were decent but unimpressive. The service was friendly, and we genuinely wanted to enjoy our meal, but overall, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations.

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. Zackina was superb. I have never before met someone and wanted to call them family just by being in their presence. The gentleman at the front (think his name is X) was a pleasure. If you’re wondering what tastes good on the menu… EVERYTHING. I mean that. We didn’t want to miss a thing so we ordered food for dine in and tons of food to go. Please do yourself a favor and try Jamaica Mon. Your tastebuds will thank you!!!! View menu

We had lunch at Jamaica Mon on Friday afternoon around 1:00 PM. We started off at the bar for a drink and later moved to a table for our meal. Rikki, also known as Stereo, crafted a perfect strawberry margarita for my fiancée. I opted for a jerk chicken sandwich while my fiancée chose the oxtail. Stereo managed the bar, engaged with customers, took phone orders, and handled walk-in orders, all by herself! The food and service were excellent, and we can't wait to return! Five stars!

Had lunch at Jamaica Mon on a Friday afternoon around 1pm. We sat at the bar initially for a drink then over to a booth for our meal. Rikki (aka Stereo) made my fiancee a perfect strawberry margarita. I had a j chicken sandwich and my fiancee had the oxtail. Stereo waited on our table, tended to patrons at the bar, took incoming phone orders and dealt with walk-in orders all at the same time ALL BY HERSELF! The food and service were both great and we can't wait to come back again! 5 Stars!

This family-owned restaurant is still in the growth stage, but the food is outstanding. I tried the Ruck Chicken and Pig, while my friend had the oxtails, and both dishes were excellent. The service can be a bit slow, and the menu selection is somewhat limited, which is typical for a small, family-run establishment. However, the staff is always very polite and friendly. On my first visit, I mentioned it felt like being served a meal by your Jamaican grandmother, and I still stand by that remark. View menu
