"I have been a loyal fan of murracci for almost 10 years since I discovered it. Having spent years in Japan, I can confidently say that they used to serve the best katsu curry in America. I make it a point to dine there at least 3-4 times whenever I am in the city. However, my recent visit was a letdown. It seems like there may have been a change in management as the food was not up to par. I gave it a second chance the next day, but the quality was still lacking. It is possible that there are new chefs in the kitchen. I will give it another try in a few months, but I am disappointed in the decline of their food quality. I hope it was just a one-time bad week for them."

The chicken katsu curry was delicious! It wasn't greasy at all, and I really enjoyed the curry flavor.

Takeout only but taste great. Lots of differnt curry options with lunch items and donburi. Not the fastest but you can order online.

Simple and delicious! Only downside is that it is takeout only and there's not many vegetables. But the hot was just spicy enough and I love really spicy curries.

been going to Muraccis for years, always a great lunch staple for hearty, tasty Japanese dishes. Love the upon noodle soups, that being said you can't go with a katsu curry, or any dish here. View menu

As for the service, the cashier was very friendly and reminded me to grab silverware. Since I only picked up food from here, I didn't get a sense of the atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Popular local lunch spot for office workers (and for a good reason! . They transitioned to take-out only after the pandemic, my favorite is beef hash curry or mama’s curry if you want it with carrots and potatoes.Pro tip: you can ask for 1/2 brown rice and 1/2 white rice if you can’t decide like me

A reasonable deal for Japanese curry at the heart of financial district. Even though the food is taken out, the crispiness of the katsu is still there after 30 minutes or so. The curry tastes good. I am more amazed at gyu-don though. The quality of beef is great and the sweet, but not overly sweet, flavor is there. A good choice of weekday lunch. View menu

The chicken Kaarage is really worth for the price, amount of food and flavour of the food the sauces. Got the pork katsu but spicy and I think that’s why I didn’t like it. Will definitely come back to try it but mild instead. Feel that the katsu is slightly overpriced but not terrible. Also the bag is 25 cents which we didn’t need as we went down the street to eat at the bubble tea shop.

This place has sadly gone downhill. My office has been getting food from them for decades, and the past few experiences have been beyond off-putting. Items have come burned or undercooked... And today they left off the actual main course from the order.Heartbreaking, because they used to be one of the best meals downtown. Staff either doesn't know what they are doing or absolutely doesn't care.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
