"What an absolute treasure this place is. It sits as a brightly coloured gate at the entrance of Naples, when you arrive from the North. There is a winery building in the back (Inspire Moore) while Roots Restaurant occupies the main building and a tent out front. It sits among vineyards making it the perfect wine country respite. The decor is a welcoming combination of industrial, antique, rustic and shabby chic, executed flawlessly by a discerning eye with deeply developed sense of style. Shout out to the flower pots this year- beautiful colours. The menu is farm to table. The ingredients are always fresh, the recipes creative, the execution flawless. We always order too much because the leftovers make a great lunch the next day. The service is small town genuinely friendly. The place is full of good will, you can tell it is a healthy place to work by the positive attitude of the staff. Roots Cafe has long been one of our staples and it is treasures like these that anchor us to the Finger Lakes region. Parking: The free lot is small and shared by a winery but the free street parking is extensive on both sides."

"On July 25, 2020, I took my mother out for lunch at the Coffee Shop. We enjoyed a delicious tuna sandwich and a chicken souvlaki sandwich, followed by some cake. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and did an excellent job. I had read other comments about the decor being reminiscent of the 70s, and I was curious to experience it myself since we had our wedding reception there fifty years ago, on July 25, 1970, with around 100 guests. My sister also held her reception at the same venue. Back then, it was a popular spot for locals in Wayland. The place was just as beautiful as I remembered, and our photographer, Barbara Borman, captured our wedding photos near the trees, even though the owners informed us that we were on their private property. At that time, we were understanding about the situation, despite it being a bit frustrating. Thankfully, today, we felt welcome and had no issues with being on the property. We appreciated the comfortable atmosphere with social distancing measures in place. I truly hope this place remains a fixture in the community for a long time, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit!"

"We recently had our second dining experience at the Social restaurant at the Naples Hotel, and it was every bit as good as the first. I somehow neglected to post a review for our first time, so I'll include it here. Last year, for a special occasion, we came to the Sunday Funday Brunch. We were given a really nice, quiet table in the rear dining room. Our server, Alyssa, was great. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Breakfast plate, which might have been the best breakfast I've ever had. It really must be experienced to understand just how good it is. My dining companion had the Breakfast Flat Bread Pizza which is also a must try. Top that off with endless Mimosa's and great service, and this is a repeat for sure.This past weekend, for a belated birthday celebration, we had dinner. I had stopped in previously to make reservations in person and ask for a quiet table. We arrived and were given a table in the front dining room. By the way, the renovations and decor in both dining rooms (and the bar) really set the mood for an enjoyable dining experience. Saturday night is Prime Rib night, which is what I had. My partner had the 12 oz. NY Strip. Both were great. The steak was perfectly cooked with an amazing char and flavor. My prime rib was tender, and had great flavor with very little waste. Our server was Michelle, who was attentive without being intrusive and had great recommendations. For a before dinner cocktail, try the Naples 75. Just one of those will set the mood. We both had the Social's Wedge for a starter, which is more like a meal than a salad, beautifully presented and delicious. The experience and food were outstanding from start to finish, and I highly recommend the Social Restaurant at the Naples Hotel. Thee management and staff here are knocking it out of the park, and in my opinion this is just what Naples needed. I for one have found my new Finger Lakes fine dining spot."

"I wanted to try. We waited for it to open after we had set ourselves and were surprised with only 5-6 items on the menu. It was a vey hot day and the door was kept open even though it seemed like they had air cones. The food was on average, my half chicken was perfectly cooked, except it had Zero Grill / Smoke taste?? My wife's pulled pork sandwich was on average, our Mac and cheese side order was watery and tasteless until we added pepper and grill sauce. During our meal we had to hang countless flies because the door is open. That was enough to keep me from coming back. When we went to pay, we were informed that it was the card system for the day we were never told how we came in, and they needed cash we didn't have enough. Si I had to go and go to a local bank that accused me of 3 and my bank would also blame me for not using their ATMs. So this place on top of everything else cost me and extra 8 more, because we were not told that their reader is down. They didn't tell anyone when they came in. I usually give a place a second chance, but I don't see this."
