"This was a bizarre experience. This restaurant didn 't seem to be understaffed, but when Ashley (our waitress) arrived at our table, she said, I can 't take your order right now because they triple sat me. Another totally new practice to us was the surcharge they add to all the menu items. It is in small print right on the menu. Why they don 't just hide it in the price like every other restaurant is beyond me.I would like to disclose that Ashley did offer us a couple of free pastries and removed the mandatory surcharge from our bill to pacify us. However, I am still wondering why a manager was never sent to our table."

Delish! Me and my gals frequently come to TC for fun times and this is becoming a staple for the next day recovery! We will definitely be back! Great service and great food!!

The food was fantastic! I had the Mushroom and Onion Eggs Benedict, while my friend enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and found it delightful. The waitstaff was friendly, and our meals arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy! View menu

We had to put our name on the waitlist, which took about 40 minutes, and then it was another 30 minutes before our food arrived. However, the food was truly delicious! It was incredibly filling, and the portion sizes were great—we were completely stuffed!

I’d recommend steering clear of this restaurant. They really shouldn’t try to accommodate 20 customers at once if they don’t have enough staff to manage it. The wait time to be seated was extremely long, and we ended up waiting an hour for our food. It just isn’t worth it.

We had a really good server. Shellay. Nice atmosphere. Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Looked like there was teamwork, as they had a host and were running food for each other. Good bacon. Just wish I would've had the regular cinnamon roll, the cinnamon roll French toast was not good. View menu

This was our 2nd time coming to the Omelette Shoppe and we were just as satisfied this time as the time before. Yes you will probably have a wait time, but it's worth it! Hubby had the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes and I had the corn beef skillet. Both absolutely delicious. Our waitress was friendly and very busy.

Absolutely amazing! I got the Inferno Omelette and the Blueberry Lemon Ricotta pancakes as an addition and it was all just perfect! The omelette was huge! So you definitely get your money's worth. My wife and I shared the French Press coffee and it was delightful as well, nice and smooth. Would definitely go here again if we were staying in the area!!

"If you're looking for a spot in Traverse City that combines fantastic food with a warm, inviting atmosphere, Bubba's is your go-to. My wife and I recently visited, and we were blown away by every aspect of our experience. The Food: We started with beers, which was an excellent way to sample some local brews. The selection was diverse, and each beer had its unique charm. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the Shrek burger, while my wife chose the Fiona sandwich. Both were out of this world. The burgers at Bubba's are not just burgers; they're a culinary adventure. The patty was perfectly cooked, the toppings fresh, and the bun was just the right amount of soft and toasty. The Fiona sandwich was equally impressive, with flavors that danced on the palate, making it a memorable choice. The Atmosphere: The ambiance at Bubba's is laid-back yet lively. It's the kind of place where you feel instantly at home. The crew was not only friendly but also genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which always makes a dining experience better. We found ourselves engaging in delightful conversations with fellow patrons at the bar, sharing stories and laughs, which added to the overall warmth of the place. Service: The service was top-notch. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our glasses were never empty and our plates were cleared promptly. The staff's knowledge of the menu and their recommendations made our dining choice easier and more enjoyable. Overall: Bubba's in Traverse City is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. From the fantastic food to the friendly staff and the convivial atmosphere, every element contributes to making your visit memorable. If you're in Traverse City, do yourself a favor and stop by Bubba's. You won't regret it. Thank you, Bubba's, for a delightful evening that we'll cherish for a long time!"
