"Great food and service! Everything we have ever tried here, has always been SOOO good. Can’t go wrong with the beef short rib and their Mac and cheese! The service is always great, no matter what time of day you come, very friendly staff. They have outdoor dining which was nice to seat outside, but there aren't many table options. The table we sat at was a bit wobbly and very close to the side walk so people kept passing by! This is my favorite BBQ restaurant in Westchester. Definitely worth visiting."

It isn't clear if reservations are actually being honored; two small tables in front of restaurant. Food is delicious though.

We were the only diners late night on Valentine’s Day, and while they were out of some things, there was very good pulled pork, highly praiseworthy smoked chicken wings, and all the sides were a success. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the music was festive and upbeat. I’d go back.

Terrific outdoor dinner at PikNik. Food was wonderful best BBQ ever. We had brisket, baby back ribs (hardly any fat, fell off the bone and delicious! mac cheese, cole slaw, baked beans and corn bread. Would highly recommend! They are very respectful of social distancing and service was excellent.

could not order 1/2 the menu items because they were out the food was good but not great, I think this was because it was not warm, , took some leftover food home which was better reheated than I remember at the restaurant. It was a bit busy as it was Saturday, thinking takeout or coming on a different night would be better. View menu

made a reservation on an open table, but when we arrived, it was unclear who this was talking to, finally, it was said that we were sitting as soon as they set up outside, then it was admitted that they forgot us. they essentially use the tables for customers who go to eat and do not keep dinner reservations. they should not be in the open table if this is the case

It’s a bit difficult to judge some aspects, as this visit was made during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, even based upon that, the food and service was outstanding. These owners and employees truly understand what it means to treat customers as family and go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable time together. That only enhanced the spectacularly good food — some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!

"I feel like I don 't have the words to adequately describe the experience of dining at Blue Hill, but as far as I am concerned, if you are passionate about food, you must go. The setting is lovely and the service is extraordinary, but it is the quality of the food itself and the creativity of the menu that is awesomely exquisite. Everyone connected with Blue Hill is committed to excellence and it shows in every aspect of the evening. There is no menu, so don 't expect one but be willing to tell your servers what you like/don 't like, will eat/won 't eat. They will ask. Then they will begin to serve you from their seasonal selections. The wine list is incredibly comprehensive and the speciality cocktails are wonderfully innovative as well as delicious. Not surprisingly, the restaurant is astronomically expensive and so if you are new to the restaurant, you should be prepared. The staff are messianic in their approach to food and their mission is to educate those who are interested. They are more than happy to explain what you are eating, how it was harvested, where it came from, how it was prepared and to elaborate upon the virtues of Barber Wheat, named after/conceived by the chef, Dan Barber in cooperation with others, I believe. To me, this is not dinner out at a nice restaurant, this is an experience, and it is one that I think needs to be repeated to get the full benefit of all there is to offer. And for those who have heard that you will be fed a single radish, or an asparagus spear, that is correct. It is shocking to have them bring out a service piece that looks like a board with nails sticking up through it on which are perched that individual radish, a baby carrot, an asparagus spear etc. which you are expected to eat and with which you are expected to be satisfied, but the vegetables are delicious and after many, many more offerings, you will be astounded to discover you are sated when you leave."
