"this is a locally possessed gem in mesa! I always love to come here. it's such a mood. I feel like I've been transported to South America every time. it is a cute building on the corner of the 1st ave and s hibert, surrounded by art and plants. it's next to the farm house. on the back of the building is a parking space and a small parking space. they have digital menus, so be ready to scan the qr cose when they arrive. they have savory and sweet empanadas. they also have alcohol. today I have 2 savory empanadas the el capitan and boricua and a sweet, dizzy fig. I wanted to get more, but I fought my tendency to go overboard. they are small, but they are filled and filled. it was exactly what I needed to lunch to be satisfied, but do not feel compatose for the rest of the day. in any case come and try republica empanada!"

The Empanadas were the best, we had Cuban and pork and a Cheeseburger and had empanadas for the desert. This is a must in the restaurant when you eat in Mesa Arizona.

Best Pernil Torta (pork shoulder) I have ever tasted. The home made green salsa had the perfect heat to flavor. I definitely recommend people to come and see for yourselves. Super busy so maybe call ahead. View menu

It's the only restaurant of its kind in the Phoenix area. Food was excellent. The place was clean. We live about an hour from República Empanada, but we will go back. You can't possibly try all the menu in one day.
