"for a small place on the side of the road it has amazing eating and coffee. sat twice in the spann of two days and was not disappointed either visit. the bagel sandwiches are made with fresh bagels and have veggie sausage options very recommend the buckland sandwich, the small piece maple syrup increases every bit. I'm usually not a coffee maker, but the roasted coconut nitro was so good that I've seen strong as buying a tiny nitro gel for my household. perhaps it was the strong cocos taste or the healthy? layer caramel at the bottom of the cup, but sips this drink meets definitiw different. not sure if the drink is seasonal, but I recommend it! at our second visit my friend and I ordered 4 sandwiches total and 1/4 sandwiches were correct wrong bagel selection normal when veggie was requested; they were still edible and tasty. not very covid safe with a small inside area, but they have a few chairs outside. I swing every time I walk through."

This is a fantastic spot with excellent coffee. However, I wish the whole bean packages indicated the roast level, as it would help us choose according to our preferences.

The snotty baristas at this confusing place have a different mask policy every time I go. Never again. Also the place across the street doesn’t harass you and has better coffee.

i went to shelburne for a dance competition and we stayed at an airbnb near by. we came here for coffee and breakfast and it was amazing. the food and drinks are great and the shop its self is very cute inside and out. View menu

We also tried a pecan roll and a coconut scone. The pecan roll was mediocre at best, scoring a 5 out of 10—not bad, but not impressive either. Unfortunately, the scone was extremely dry and tasteless. We each took a bite and ended up tossing it away. It might have just been stale; it's hard to tell. If I decide to visit again, I think I'll stick to something safer, like tea or coffee.

The shop was understaffed during our visit, which is understandable given the challenges many businesses are facing. I did have to wait about 10 minutes for my cold brew, which seemed a bit unusual since it only needed to be poured into a cup and didn’t require the same preparation as an espresso drink. Overall, it’s still a great stop for good coffee, but be prepared for potential wait times.

men of color, beware! the coffee is good, but the baristas are extremely rude. they called out my command without saying my very simple surname loud (which I shared on order) so it was unclear whether it was my order or not. When I asked myself, the barista looked at me and rolled her eyes as if I had done something wrong. pretty creepy that they have a black lives matte sign in the window, since every person I met was behind the counter looked like they were afraid of me.

I've been 5 years since I came by this place. they lost the rustic feeling that I really enjoyed. they must expand to reach the buried traffic. at least the coffee has not changed and they have added more choices. Summer coffee drinks are fantastic, I had the icy-brown pecan latte and it was delicious. the personal service over the counter on the 24th juli was excellent, especially those who order and makes the cassation. she loves her work and very accommodating. no hurry and very patient. they have some tables to sit and what is nice is they have wifi.

"A second visit; my wife and I enjoyed a memorable Valentine 's dinner there in 2023. It 's a cozy little place, with the ambience of a cherished French bistro. And a good experience last night, but three stars because I want Gypsy Apple to improve. $45 for mains asks for something special; it 's the most restos ask in our area. A solid outing: food was professionally prepared and delicious. Filet mignon/ red wine and mushroom reduction, with asparagus and mashed potatoes x 2; seared salmon with lobster mashed potatoes; rack of lamb/ mint sauce and potato chimichurri. Local sautéed morel and lobsterhead mushrooms and crab cakes for apps. Vermouth/ sherry cocktails and glasses of Italian and Spanish red and white for dinner. We declined dessert, because after ordering the crème brulée were informed that the refrigerator broke down. Meats were all expertly cooked: a nice medium on the steaks, and a nice rare on the lamb, with good searing on both without affecting the juiciness within. Vegetables were the right texture and color, fresh green yet cooked just right. A good crabcake, and tasty mushrooms. Server was engaging and professional, removing bread crumbs before the mains arrived. A few constructive criticisms: The room was empty when we arrived at 6 sharp, even though it soon filled up. But it took 1 hour for the appetizers to arrive, and another hour for dinner. 2 hours pass before your guests get to enjoy your wonderful food? Our dining companions, who were recognized and greeted warmly by our server as semi regulars, said that you are getting this reputation. So three hours for a dinner of 3 4 courses was not an off your game evening. No free glass of wine to apologize for your delay? The music, while not technically loud, was brash and intrusive. '90s hip hop and random alt rock at a classy place, with many of your guests over the age of 60? I still have some Biggie lyrics memorized from my 20s, but an elevated experience is NOT where I want to remember college parties. You can do better; think of your guests. No music is best, but perhaps a little acoustic instrumental of any genre can work in the background, to muffle separate conversations. The presentation of the food was uninspiring, and most of the accompagnements were mundane. For $100 per person for everything (drinks apps mains tax tip), you can do better than simply steaming/ sautéeing asparagus stalks. And they were not even broken in the middle the spear is the best part, not the stalk. Your mashed potatoes were a lost opportunity. Nothing outside of simply boiling one kind of potato with some butter and some salt? You can and should strive to inspire. Meat and potatoes can be elevated; use your creativity. Yes, for one of the plates, you used lobster mashed potatoes: bravo! But for the others, why not, for instance, some hazelnut oil? Or perhaps, a special kind of heirloom potato, or combination thereof? It can still be an effective template for the meat, without being intrusive. Also, please do not serve good bread and allow some of it to be frozen in the middle. We will be back, Gypsy Apple, because we support you, but please improve to the level of which you are capable."
