"I've been a fan of this restaurant since I first discovered it in the 1980s, when it was famous for serving Korean food around the clock. However, on my visit in May, I couldn't help but notice a decline in quality—perhaps due to the pandemic or a new chef. The last time I dined there was around 2015. That said, the menu still offered a wide variety of options. Unfortunately, the mini condiments we received were quite bland and didn't stand out. One of my companions ordered the bibimbap and mentioned that it was good. I tried the kalbi and chicken combination plate, but the chicken was disappointing."

Very tasty Korean BBQ. Served family style. $20‐$30 menu items. Don't come here if you are on a budget. Well worth the money.

We visited our favorite Korean restaurant only to find out that they have permanently closed at that location. However, they will be reopening on March 1, 2022, at their new spot—the Pagoda Hotel! We’re excited to check out the new venue.

I absolutely loved it! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was excellent. There were also some lovely single staff members if you're interested in meeting wonderful Korean women! I can't wait to go back soon! View menu

I absolutely loved their seollongtang! The side dishes were incredibly tasty as well. The service was efficient, and while it is a bit on the pricier side, it's definitely worth it for such fantastic Korean food. I highly recommend this place!

The Korean BBQ here is incredibly delicious and is served family-style. The menu items range from $20 to $30. If you're on a budget, this might not be the best choice for you, but it's definitely worth the price for the quality of food you get.

Quick service, great food. Our first visit as New arrivals to Honolulu, staying in hotel right next door. We had the Dolsit bibimbap was excellent... was just the right thing for an evening meal, almost did not finish (I hate wasting food when I eat out). View menu

There are tons of Korean takeout joints on Oahu but for a sit-down meal Sorabol has been my go-to for over 10 years now. Consistent quality of food, average but attentive service and outstanding spicy raw crab. My go-to dishes are (preferably, if available, on the lunch menu which is a bit cheaper than dinner): spicy raw crab, fish jun, kal bi, and crab jigae. Their menu is vast, like most Korean joints, but if you're tired of takeout and limited ban chan options, I highly suggest Sorabol.

I finally had the chance to visit their new location last week. Sorabol has relocated to the Pagoda Hotel, which is directly across the street from its previous site. The floating restaurant utilized this space in the past. Parking can be a bit challenging, but luckily I found a spot on the street. The restaurant is well-lit and quite spacious. Currently, there are no private booths; instead, all tables are in an open layout, and each one is equipped with a bottle of hand sanitizer. It looks like each table can accommodate up to six people. Upon entering, you'll also find a fully stocked bar.
