"However, it took about 30 minutes for our main courses to arrive, and my husband’s salad came out with the dinner instead of as an appetizer. During the wait, we needed drink refills, but our waitress was busy chatting with other staff members, despite the fact that we were her only table. When we tried to flag her down, we were ignored at first, so we asked the gentleman who seated us for refills. Unfortunately, we eventually had to raise our voices to get our waitress’s attention for drinks.
When we asked for the check, she quickly returned for the payment. Overall, the service was very disappointing. As for the food, while everything was delicious, including the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, salad, and fries, I was quite let down by the hamburger I ordered. Although the beef was fresh, it lacked any flavor. It definitely needed some seasoning or a flavorful sauce to enhance it. Given how great the other dishes were, the hamburger was a bit of a letdown."
