"I was disappointed this time because the experience wasn't as good as it used to be. I often visited for a light late-night dinner, but when I went in tonight, the usual friendly older ladies were gone. They were always cheerful and welcoming. Instead, two young girls were working, and their demeanor wasn't as warm. The girl making my sandwich struggled with English and repeatedly got my order wrong. For instance, I explicitly said I didn’t want it toasted, but she put it in the toaster anyway after I told her no. When I asked for mayo and mustard, she insisted there was no mustard. When I got home and took a bite of my sandwich, the mustard and mayo exploded everywhere, and I barely had any veggies. It looked like she used an entire bottle of mayo and mustard. It's hard to believe I had to be so watchful over a simple sandwich. This was the worst experience I've had, and I really wish they'd bring back the two lovely ladies who took pride in their work. It's such a letdown."

I ordered a tuna sub at Subway and asked the older lady if she could mix the tuna before putting it on my bread. Unfortunately, she used her fingers to do it. I found that really unappetizing and decided to leave. This is not a sanitary practice for serving food to the public.

1st time trying this subway, mainly because this was the closest to me. Put an online order in, by the time I got there which was after the scheduled time, order wasn't started. Normally I'd give a lower score but to be honest, this place just opened andthere was a line of people. 1 worker, he did his best. I waited patiently and enjoyed my fresh made lunch. Will continue goingto this establishment. Will improve my score based on the next round. Just be cautious, lots of beggers outside asking formoney, this subway is in a gas station store so mix of people. However this gas station itself is very very clean. ????

Went here with my family today for my Brother 's birthday. We 've come here multiple times but this time was the worst and probably the last. We were the only customers there that moment yet they proceeded to tell us hurry up! who is next? I know weare going through a difficult time but seriously have some kindness to your customers. As they took our orders they were harshwith asking us for each ingredient along with telling us where the menu was as if we couldnt read. Please don 't make yourcustomers feel little or small. "This is a design your own pizza restaurant and it’s pretty darn good. The only criticism I have is for the pizza mushrooms, I’d prefer slices of mushrooms instead of small pieces. The buffalo wings were not too spicy, exact how I prefer, and the stuffed mushrooms are pretty good as well. We carried out our order and when we got home we discovered our blue cheese container had melted a bit within the container of the wings.Prices are on par with the island, more on the higher side but that’s the price we pay for living in paradise. We got the Tuesday deal so that might have helped mitigate the overall cost. They have a decent lunch deal so I’ll be checking that out in the future. We recommend and will return."

"Sadie's was recommended to us by my sister-in-law, who is Korean and makes some of the best meat jun you'll ever taste. When she told me she loved this place, because it taste like her own, she wasn't lying! We arrived before the afternoon closing and were greeted with friendly smiles from everybody! The service was absolutely impeccable. It's very modest restaurant ambiance wise but very welcoming. I'm going to say that in the 50 years I've lived in Hawaii, where I was first introduced to Korean barbecue, Sadie's made the best kalbi, reminiscent to a place I frequented in Maui called Azteca back in the 80s. It was absolutely tender, marinated to perfection and simply delicious! Their banchan was fresh; both kimchi's were delicious. The cucumber kimchi was my favorite, but everything was very fresh and nicely chilled. We ordered zucchini jun which could have been cooked a bit more but was tasty. We split a plate because we were headed to my husband's family reunion and they were serving Hawaiian Cuisine, which isn't my favorite. Sadie's SATISFIED in every corner of my mouth. We'll be back."

"We dropped by for some manapua and ended up leaving with a lot more, haha! The staff was super friendly. Although we had to wait a bit, they surprised us with samples, which was a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend trying the pork hash – we had some from Seven Eleven earlier, but it was so much better here. The Musubi looked super fresh and delicious, and the prices were really good compared to places like Seven Eleven. The manapuas are just the right size for sampling a few so get a couple when you visit. The only baked one is the Charsui, but the other flavors can be steamed or fried, and they're easy to identify by the symbols on top. And make sure you grab a pack of their yummy almond cookies – they're totally worth it! We're so glad we stopped by and supported this awesome local business and recommend you visit there as well!"

"Mikel and the Tanioka's team were so incredible to work with throughout the year+ we were planning our wedding and it is clear they have a smooth running operation. From the start, Mikel was responsive and helpful with all of our questions via email and was happy to hop on phone calls when needed, and promptly provided us with tasting options and quotes. Our wedding wasn't big (60 guests) so to them it was a small event, but they still provided us with so much care and meticulousness that we felt extremely well supported throughout. Tanioka's is an incredibly well equipped operation they provided timely transportation for the food, a heated buffet line set up that looked amazing, attendants to help serve our guests, buffet line takedown and packing up of leftovers, as well as disposable plates, utensils, and napkins that looked great. Most of all, our guests were so impressed with the food (especially the furikake ahi, mochiko chicken, haupia squares, and vegetarian tofu poke) and it was special having guests from the mainland try local food. We're looking forward to working with them in the future!"

"We absolutely loved this place! We tried their Mongo beans, dinuguan, Kwali Lechon, local breakfast plate with Portuguese sausage, pinakbet, pinapaitan, longonisa breakfast plate, sisig fries, and pork lumpia. Then, we had the banana lumpia with Ube ice cream. All of it was delicious! This is better Filipino food than in L.A. and Vegas. The owner, Ron D, was so friendly and gave us a small bowl to try the Bichol Express. That was also delicious. We loved the food so much that we plan to come back before we leave back to the mainland. My cousin heard about this place from an Instagram influencer saying this is the best Filipino food to eat on the island. My brother also heard from his coworker that this place was excellent as well. If you want authentic Filipino food, go to Shay's."
