This St. Louis-style BBQ is outstanding! I also tried a reuben with a unique twist, and it was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend it!

This was the best barbecue I have ever tasted! Can you believe that a full slab and four sides cost just $38? I ordered this for my husband and me, and we had enough leftovers to take home. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. If you're traveling, it's conveniently situated on Route 44. Thank you for the fantastic experience, Sugarfire 44!

We were staying at the nearby Hampton Inn and decided to have dinner here. It was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich, along with some green beans (which were incredibly delicious) and French fries. The food was delicious, and the kids really enjoyed it. The Carolina pulled pork was fantastic and sufficient for two little ones. The salmon sandwich and chicken wings were also quite good. My children loved the fries, and my daughter, who is a picky eater, claimed they were the best she’s ever had. I’m definitely planning to come back on my next visit! The atmosphere was nice, and the prices were very reasonable – all three of us ate for just over $40.

We were so hungry that we totally forgot to take photos of our food, but it was absolutely amazing! My husband and I shared the three-meat platter, which featured double brisket and ribs, along with a side of mac and cheese and green beans. The brisket was incredibly juicy and packed with flavor, although my husband leaned more towards the ribs; I thought both were excellent. Sugarfire offers exceptional BBQ. I opted for the 2 Meat Combination featuring ribs and brisket, accompanied by brisket chili and macaroni and cheese as sides. Every element of my meal was fantastic. Both meats were incredibly tender and had a wonderful smoky flavor. The sides were excellent as well, but the brisket chili stood out for its uniqueness and deliciousness, with sizable chunks of brisket in almost every mouthful. They also provide a selection of unique fountain sodas, which are self-serve, allowing you to sample a few to discover your favorite. Another minor frustration was that while we waited in line, we could help ourselves to drinks. This was great in theory, but there was no ice available, leaving our drinks warm. When I mentioned this to a staff member, they appeared a bit annoyed but did manage to refill the ice within a couple of minutes, so it wasn’t a major issue. Their reaction might have stemmed from trying to juggle multiple tasks. It would be a good idea to install ice machines near the drink dispensers to prevent running out; it could be a worthwhile investment. Secondly, although the restaurant didn’t seem overly crowded since there weren’t many customers and the line wasn’t particularly long, it moved incredibly slowly, as if they were overwhelmed. All the employees were working hard and were busy, but even with only about five people ahead of us, it took about 25 to 30 minutes before we could place our order. Perhaps they were just temporarily occupied? A third, minor annoyance was that while you could get your drinks while waiting in line, there was no ice.
