"The fish dish was generously topped with white onions, while two of the dishes were garnished with just a few thin strips of red or green paprika. I enjoy vegetables, but there wasn't much variety among the dishes. The sauce that accompanied the meals was quite delicious—definitely a plus if you like your food saucy. However, the rice served with the dishes was a very small portion compared to other Asian restaurants. The food presentation was beautiful yet simple. One thing I noticed about our dishes was that they seemed to contain either a lot of sugar or monosodium glutamate, giving them an addictive sweetness. With my sugar restrictions, I am particularly attuned to sweetness in food. Even the soup was loaded with sweet and tangy flavors, which my husband did not enjoy, but I drank it anyway because I found it sweet! It may be good for my taste buds but probably not for my health. I inquired about the vegetables in the tofu dish and what was in the soup. The server mentioned a few that I didn't quite understand, but the soup turned out to have small pieces that were easy to eat: boiled broccoli, sliced carrots, canned corn, thinly cut green Asian vegetables, and green onion. I look forward to trying a variety with more green Asian vegetables, but this is one dish I won't order again. The server was the only person taking orders, bringing us water, and delivering food to customers, as we were there with family. He was friendly, though clearly in a hurry to ensure all customers were attended to. Despite being the only staff member, our wait time for the food was average. We continue to dine here because my daughters enjoy it."

6/25/22 menu was updated. Decent food, nice restaurant, understaffed. Highly recommend chicken pad thai and evil jungle noodle.

The Thai curry was delicious, accompanied by perfectly roasted jasmine rice. The ingredients were fresh, and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant.

Prepare for a disappointment. I just visited what used to be one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the city, and they've closed their doors for good. It's such a significant loss for the Broadway dining scene.

I've been to this restaurant more than seven times, and I've never been disappointed with the food. The service can be a bit slow, so it's a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the atmosphere while you're there. View menu

Spicy basil Lamb, Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice with chicken. Taste of Thai does not disappoint with the dishes, flavor and spice. Everything was delicious and I recommend paying a visit. Family style portions! Bring a friend or fam!

1. If you are Black or Brown, you will immediately feel a hostile atmosphere. When I ordered the Thai fried rice, it came with only three small pieces of chicken and mostly rice. Overall, this was the worst Thai dining experience I've ever had. I won't be coming back; I felt cheated, and the vibe was very unsettling.

For the first time and last time I visited this restaurant, had the tumor-yum and asked for Mittelspicy, but it was so sweet! No, where on the menu description there were sugar as an ingredient. I couldn't taste anything from the herbs in Tom Yum. I couldn't agree with another reviewer who said the food was Bland because it really is Bland. I gave this place an attempt because of the other reviews, but quickly realized that this was not the place for me. This could be a good fit for someone who doesn't like too much spice and prefers mild herbs/spice. View menu

Been to this restaurant many times when craving Thai. I thought it was great at first but the quality has been declining over the years. Seasoning on the food has been lacking and mistakes have been made on a couple of orders (peanuts added to dish when requested not to for allergy reasons). My partner and I have also been getting sick after eating their pad Thai lately. After many re-tries I find myself gravitating towards other Thai restaurants in the area instead. Overall would not recommend this place unless Chada Thai next to it closes down or something.

I got to this place since it was my first time at Sacramento and my family and I were craving Pad See Ew. The waiter was very rude after I asked him if I could just get any noodles with egg by themselves since my sister is very picky. He treated me rudely and rolled his eyes and gave me a mean stare when I was letting him know because my little sister is very picky. Me and my partner love Thai food and it was my sister?s first time trying Thai food but she just wanted noodles. We just felt unwelcome after ordering and the way he was talking and sighing while taking our order. Considering no one was there, I would think they would be very welcoming and just nice. I left after that (before foo...
