"The health standards are something to make serious note of. Having worked in several kitchens across the country I feel like I should speak on these things. First of all on two separate occasions I’ve seen the kitchen manager/owner wearing flip flops in the kitchen. This evening I got to watch three of the four employees in the BOH eating while putting my food in our Togo containers and bagging it. Not only did I see them eating through the entire process the blonde girl was seen licking her fingers and handling my food. In shock I watched and never once saw her wash her hands. My sister and I left and threw our food away, which is a waste because it isn’t cheap by any means. This is how illness is spread… I really have enjoyed every time I’ve eaten at the burger place in the mill but after this experience I won’t buy and consume anything from them again , it scares me to think of what else happens below the sight of the counter. They weren’t busy and there was an entire dining room full of open tables."

It is 112 outside and just as hot inside that is absolutely ridiculous this time of year for the South. It is so unbearable you can’t even sit and enjoy lunch.

It's a walk up and order style restaurant so no service to rate, but the food was delicious. I got the apple chicken sandwich and highly recommend. The onion rings were also very tasty.Parking: Downtown fairhope is always difficult to park.

The food we had here was delicious! We ate at Fairghope Burger Shop inside The Mill! I had the fried green tomato BLT with fries and my friends each had a burger and fries. Everything was hot and flavorful. Total gem inside a gem. Do yourselves a favor and check it out. Wonderful service too.
