"What happens when you add great location, great food and great service is magic. The port of Peri Peri is one such place where you find amazing food. It was our first time today, although many friends been there and recommended us, but since don't live in Sugarland anymore we had been postponing it. Now, I am thinking we were wrong. Anyway, we ordered several different dishes and none of them disappointed. The guys at the front counter, recommended great options, and the food came with great speed. They have a special white and red sauce, it's a must have but be careful not to add too much unless you can handle the heat. Will go there again!"

Great food but not reliable! They don't update website to tell you that they're closed. Drove all the way across town only to find the place is no longer open. Also, the location that is open is inconsistent. Closed around noon when the site shows it's open. What's the deal?? View menu

I had my first experience at this restaurant, and the food was absolutely amazing! The chicken was bursting with flavor! The customer service was top-notch, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I can definitely say this won't be my last visit! I even forgot to take a picture before I left—there was nothing left but bones!

Excellent, clean, healthy delicious Halal food and great service. We will definitely visit again. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the service was, everyone was so accommodating and it didn't feel like you were going to a chain restaurant, the way they paid attention to all the customers and went beyond what's expected of them.Keep up the great work guys.

My husband and I recently dined at the Port of Peri Peri for the first time in a while, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The food was just as delightful as we remembered, earning a solid five-star rating. The management and staff were friendly and courteous, and the restaurant was spotless and well-organized. We will absolutely be returning! It's a wonderful family restaurant that provides comforting food in a lovely atmosphere. View menu

Peri Cassava Fries were tasty! Hearty and dusted with some spice it's only very mildly spicy but just a heads up that kids may not like it if they can't eat spicy stuff. 1/2 chicken dark meat option: I got the lemon herbs flavor because I'm a wuss and don't like spicy foods. It was super moist and cooked well! Lemon isn't my favorite flavor for anything but it was pretty good. I might try the mildest spicy chicken the next time I come! Their side of rice was ok, it was kind of spicy but at the same time was kind of bland.

A classic in sugar land! I always stick to the traditional chicken and rice, which never disappoints, but I finally tried their wings! I got the Cajun lemon herbs spice mix and the flavoring was amazing, but there was too much spice/herb which added a which texture, which could've been my mistake for adding 2 spice levels. Nonetheless, the wings were fall off the bone, perfectly cooked. Fries are always perfect and so flavorful. I love the concept of them having sinks outside the bathroom. It's just so convenient. Overall, the place is always clean and equipped with whatever you need.

"I 've always wanted to eat here when in the Sugar Land Town Plaza area, but never really got the chance until this past Saturday (September 2, 2023 . I can 't recall how many years they 've been participating in Houston Restaurants Weeks (HRW , but it was a good time, and incentive to finally try them out last Labor Day weekend. I was there for a pre-concert dinner. (The concert that I attending was at the Smart Financial Centre nearby. I type nearby because it takes no more than five minutes to get there if you get all green lights. Lol. First thing was that were very accommodating. The HRW site that reservations were required, but since this was a spontaneous decision, I thought I would take a chance, and hopefully get a table. Good thing because the restaurant wasn 't too busy. I was seated by my server, Dalton, who was very friendly, patient, and accommodating. Plus, he didn 't come out as too eager like other servers in other establishments; he didn 't appear at my table every 30 seconds asking how my food (and drink was. That is a pet peeve of mine; seriously, let me, at least, take a bite of my food! Lol. Props to Dalton! As of the food, their HRW menu was in three courses: appetizer, main dish, and dessert. I chose the melon bites, chicken marsala, and tiramisu, respectively. For my drink, it was water, and at first, a cider made by Aval. But, unfortunately, they didn 't have any more so I settled for a Riesling by Leitz. The melon bites were Watermelon, cantaloupe, prosciutto, toasted pistachio and balsamic glaze. This wasn 't your parents cantaloupe wrapped in prosciutto appetizer. Just the thought of that presentation makes me shake my head and roll my eyes. Lol. V&V 's presentation was hella pretty. It gave me a look of god, why do I have to destroy this? Forgot to note that this was delicious. Just enough sweetness from the melons, and just enough tartness from the balsamic glaze. The chicken marsala was served with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. This dish was just right: the chicken wasn 't dry nor the sauce too salty. Nor, did the asparagus turned out to taste rubbery. Just enough crisp when cutting it. And, the sauce was a great substitute gravy for the mashed potatoes. The tiramisu was just right, too. The color of it was perfect; sometimes when I order tiramisu, the coffee color takes over from the lady fingers to the mascarpone. And, I 'm not describing the cocoa powder that is shakes on top of it. The espresso taste, by the way, was not overpowering, either. The Riesling was very good. I detected a bit of an orangey smell from it, but actually drinking it, the wine had hints of apple, lime, and tarragon. I don 't drink wine that often, but I kind of want to buy a bottle of this. Lol. I was offered another glass of wine, but the alcohol was sneaking in, and was giving me hints that it was time to go. Plus, I was driving, so that wouldn 't be good. Would I come here again? That would be a yes. The service, food, and drink was great. Plus, I saw that they had pork belly on their menu. There, you see, that 's an incentive! Lol."
