Food and beer were delicious. This isn’t your run of the mill bland food. The BLT had thick crispy bacon and they added light spicy sauce. All on marble rye. The beer was a Munich Dunkel with a sweet aftertaste. I’d get it again! Overall highly recommend. Service: 5

This winery is huge! I loved the wine but we had lunch here too and it was a bit disappointing. I think part of the blame was that they were super busy and just couldn't keep up with the rush. I still recommend stopping in. They have good wines but they offer more than just wine tastings, they have beer and I think spirits. Service: 4 View menu

Stayed there over the weekend! Rooms were inviting and clean and beds were comfy we enjoyed our stay! We experienced a little of everything wine was delicious and they had great knowledge being I’m new to drinking wine! The beer was great and the food was delicious! The Reuben sandwich was my favorite. Definitely will be back Service: 5

These folks went out of their way to provide an awsome experience for the eclipse 2024! The staff did a great job keeping up with the volume of guests and provided a fun, courteous atmosphere for everyone here today. Thank you so much Von Jakob! I visited for the eclipse on 4/8. We had a great experience and loved the views from the back patio. We had several of the beers and were quite impressed by the beers and the spirits. We did not try the wine during this trip. The staff was very hard working and the owners were very friendly. I will be back to pick up their rum in a couple of weeks once it's available for sale. It's so beautiful here! The room was super cozy and very well taken care of. I had a horrible experience at a Wyndham in Florida where there was hair and grime clogging the tub from the last people, and the lobby attendant just looked at me like I was stupid for bringing it up. I ended up DoorDashing cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself!..So I made sure to leave a well-deserved tip for housekeeping here to show appreciation of her time, thoughtfulness, and cleanliness. Thank you!!

paid $75 for our eclipse reservation, knowing we'd get a chance to relax, drink and eat. we were looking forward to the pretzel platter. we were told we could order food at SOME POINT, tried to order 4 different times and finally were told, eh.. we aren't taking orders for food. yet, people after us were given the option to order food?! after spending money on alcohol, being told not to bring our own food, that there would be food and then serve only a few chosen people?! this was a horrible experience!!!

As a regular patron of the wine trial, this was my first time going to Von Jakob! I have heard bad reviews in the past from passing people/friends but wanted to experience it for myself to create my own opinion. The wine was terrible, some of the worst wine I’ve ever drank. I had a glass of the Traminette, perhaps the reds are better. The food was good but that is the only good thing I have to say. The atmosphere is not inviting, we arrived on a Friday evening and were not so nicely told that the vineyard side was closing and that we couldn’t sit outside, despite it being a beautiful evening, and had to sit in the new pub area (which is not why we came to a winery. on the wine trail).
