Xian Kitchen-fremont

I placed a to-go order for $45.60, and I signed for $46 when paying with my credit card. However, yesterday I discovered that my card was charged $52. This feels like theft.

This is the best Xian cuisine I've ever tried. The biang biang noodles, pork burger, and lamb soup with soaked bread are incredibly flavorful! The service is impressively quick too. You definitely need to try this food!

Overall, the experience was quite authentic. The chicken plate was massive and absolutely worth it. I wish it had a bit more spice, though. The other dishes we ordered were also very tasty. However, there was only one person serving our table, which made the service a bit slow. View menu

Bought a lot of food to go, the owner forgot to put pork meat bun for me, come back just to pick it up the missing one. They are super nice and made a lot of extra food for free for me. Really like this restaurant, really kind owner and good chinese food.Always on my top to go list. Strongly recommend!!!

I ordered a lot of food to-go, but the owner accidentally forgot to include my pork meat bun. I went back to pick it up, and they were incredibly kind, even making extra food for me free of charge. I really love this restaurant—the owner is very friendly and the Chinese food is excellent. It’s always at the top of my go-to list. Highly recommended!

The kids didn’t want to go out tonight, so my wife and I decided to try a new Chinese restaurant near our home in the Lucky supermarket area. We’ve noticed these Chinese restaurants often change every month or year. We chose this place to give it a shot. Cash is the only payment option for orders under $30. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with waitstaff in uniforms, making it easy to spot my server when I needed help. The belt-like noodles I tried were surprisingly delicious and closely resembled the handmade noodles from Xi'an, appearing in most of the noodle dishes. However, the Rou Burger, another Xi'an classic, was mediocre and seemed to lack some key spices. Likewise, the other dish I sampled was just average—the flavor was acceptable, but nothing special.

Equipped with our experience of authentic Xian cuisine from our visit to Xian, China, where we fell in love with the spices, we decided to give Xian Kitchen in Fremont another chance. We were thrilled with the delicious and authentic dishes they served, and as a result, we've become regular customers over the past year. Why am I only writing this review now, you ask? Well, my sister and brother-in-law from Southern California recently came to visit us. They have a favorite Xian restaurant that they would travel an hour to enjoy!

Armed with the knowledge of Xian cuisine after we visited and ate through Xian, China, and loving all the spices, we gave Xian Kitchen in Fremont another try.
