"During my short visit to Montana, I made a list of restaurants I wanted to try, and this place has got to be on the list, given all the raves on the internet whenever I search for what to eat in Billings. They are closed on Sundays, but to my luck, I have a free Wednesday! So I dropped by for lunch. The restaurant has a cozy, clean, and minimalist interior. The booths are separated by partitions, giving each table a sense of privacy. The menu consists of elevated fusion food with a touch from all around. There's some Italian influence with Beef Bolognese and Risotto. There's also some Asian influence with Sticky Pork Belly Bowl and General Tso Cauliflower; Eastern European with Beef Stroganoff and Pork Schnitzel; and various American classics like Mac and Cheese, Chicken Pot Pie, Burgers, etc. They also have changing daily specials. I went for the Steak Risotto. Perfect portion! I've been to many restaurants that consider themselves fancy with the goal of less food for a higher price. I'm so glad this place is the opposite. Generous, satisfying portions! That's what we like! The steak was laid atop mushroom, herbs, and parmesan risotto and topped with an arugula salad tossed in lemon vinaigrette and crispy fried onions. While the steak was boldly (and deliciously) seasoned, the risotto had a milder taste to balance it. Apparently, the meat was heavily marinated in tamari and Worcestershire sauce before cooking, giving it a darker color. At the same time, I'm glad they picked a meatier, leaner cut to balance out the density of the risotto. Thus, here we have comfort food that is light enough. The salad adds not only color but, more importantly, texture and acidity to the dish. The presentation may not be as fancy as everything stacked on top of each other on a plate, but it was a very hearty and comforting lunch. Everything on the dessert menu looks good, but I have to go with the sticky toffee pudding. It's probably my favorite thing to order in a restaurant. As expected from a sticky toffee pudding, the whole plate exploded with sweetness. The cake was a smidge bit on the dry side but soaked up the sauce beautifully. A lovely way to end lunch, indeed. The service was excellent. The staff were amicable and accommodating. If I'm back in Billings, I would love to return."

"Best fish and chips . The breading on the fish was the lighters and crispiest ever. The fish was cooked perfectly, the fries were delicious as well. Good portion sizes for the cost. Unique atmosphere and enjoyable chef. Looking forward to going there again. "

"Buffalo Block is a great choice for food when you are visiting Billings, MT. The restaurant has a convenient downtown location. The food is styled as an upscale Steak House with a very nice menu, craft libations, and an excellent wine list. The staff answering phones and taking reservations could be better. We called on the afternoon of our visit and requested a table for five. It was not super surprising to learn that the restaurant was fully booked...except it wasn't. Two members of our party did not get the message that our reservation had been moved to a different restaurant after learning the BB was full. When they arrived at 7pm the dining room and bar were certainly not full and could be construed as half empty. Thankfully our two party members who did not get the memo grabbed a table and we all were able to enjoy a great dinner at Billings, MT Buffalo Block. "Overall a good experience. I halfto say this is a quaint and comfortable mom and pop community friendly diner concept. My burrito was pretty good and on par with what you would get at Perkins or Denny's with the added benefits that it's Montana sized and let me tell you they do not skimp on the filling or the gravy over the top. My wife had the stuffed avocado and absolutely loved it ! My father and law had the county fried steak and gravy and I've gotta say we were bummed when it came out like boot leather. We didn't ask to return it because we had already waited 15 minutes for coffee refills and kinda just wanted to get going and on to our Costco trip. So to sum up burrito 3.5/5 stuffed avocado 5/5!!!! Country fried steak 2/5. Oh last but not least you've gotta try Thier jams OMG I bought a blueberry rhubarb jelly a week ago and it's gone. Must try. All and all we will be back to try them again !"

"Fast service and reasonably priced drinks. If I lived here I'd probably visit pretty frequently. The atmosphere was pretty good. On first glance I had thought it was a fairly small location, however it's actually pretty spacious especially when you bring the top floor into account. If I ever find my way out here I'll have to make this a stop for sure."

"Totally awesome! We got the bang shrimp and chicken apps (the shrimp was a happy accident that they let us keep) and both were very nice. She had jambalaya and I had the catfish plate with fries. My sauces were mind blowing, breading was light and crispy, catfish was tender and juicy, rice was excellent, deep fried biscuit was a revelation. In the jambalaya, the chicken was tender, the andouille was so rich, the shrimp was juicy, and the rice was powerful. Portions were huge but we ate as much as we could handle because it tasted so good. The deep fried bread pudding was a thing of total beauty, we wished we had gotten it a la mode. Service was the best I’ve seen from anywhere, the staff was kind and attentive to us and each other. Very fast turnaround for a from-scratch kitchen. Enjoy!"

"This was our first trip to Billings and the Northern Hotel. We made reservations at the restaurant Ten on our first night for the simplicity of having a late arrival and the ease of dining in our hotel. We had an incredible experience from the moment we arrived at the hotel and entering the lovely restaurant. The bartender offered a warm greeting upon entering. Our server for the evening was Caleb who was an absolute gem. Dinner was AMAZING! As were cocktails and the wine list. We enjoyed the caesar salad for two, the pea soup, the waygu short ribs and the salmon special for the evening. Every bite was excellent. For dessert we enjoyed the goat cheese cheesecake with walnut crust so yummy! We will definitely return."

"The service is good and sometimes great. The food is not typical 'bar ' food but rather what you might find in an upscale restaurant. It 's not molecular, either because servings are ample. Last time I had the pork loin wrapped in pork belly ciabatta sandwich with homemade chips. I would call it artisnal comfort food. This is our go-to spot especially on Sunday afternoons. Forgot to mention, the ciders which I 'm not a big fan of but have tried them all at a tasting and they rock. I love Czechmate, The Red Lodge Pilsner, so that 's what I always drink."

"Best sushi in Billings Montana. Friendly hostesses that are always smiling and take good care of everyone. The sushi chefs are amazing and what they make is art it's almost a shame to eat it. If you want good sushi in Montana this is the place to go. Prices are good for what you get. Haven't tried the sake but I'm told it's good."

"My husband and I went here to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered the halibut and my husband ordered the New York strip special. My fish and every thing that came with was superb! Halibut is a difficult fish to prepare and these guys got it perfect! Pan seared to a crispy golden brown yet delicate and flaky. The mashed potatoes bedded underneath the fish, absolute buttery goodness. One of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time. My husband’s steak unfortunately was tough and not the best. Enzo’s made up for it by not charging us for his meal. That’s how a great restaurant treats their patrons! We will definitely be back and highly recommend Enzo’s! I love the updated interior as well!"

"Our waitress was just fantastic. With a great sense of humor, solid skills with kids and adults, and a great memory for orders. The food was exactly what we ordered, and even better than we expected. For the type of diner they are, they're amazing. They cooked everything perfectly, from a BLT to an eggs Benedict."

"I am a huge pho fanatic and really enjoy a good bowl of pho, and I will say, this place has good pho (although I wish the bowl was bigger). To be honest, I was a little hesitant because of the name “Samurai” (Japanese food) but boy I am glad we stopped in. Their pho is excellent (better than a few pho places in Seattle)! But the other factor that makes a meal really enjoyable is the awesome service. The owner, himself, checked in on everybody to see how their food was and if they needed anything else. I really enjoyed dinning here and highly recommend this place. I will definitely stop in again when passing through Billings again."

"The food and service were quite impressive. The fries are absolutely amazing! I expected regular fries, but the seasoning on these is just perfect. The pretzel bites make for a fantastic appetizer, too. The burgers and everything else I tried were very enjoyable. They offer a variety of combinations that you wouldn't expect to work well together, but they truly are excellent."

"Top 10 restaurant in Billings. Easy. Maybe top 5. Last time we split the fried chicken and greens and the burger and they were both delicious. Really good seasonal menu and I've never had a bad meal or poor service. Cast iron skilled chicken is great. My favorite thus far has been their meatloaf sandwich with huckleberry BBQ sauce. Maybe it will return to the menu this fall? Service is great, location is great, never have had a bad experience here. We don't eat out often and try to check out different places but every time we come back we always say we should eat here more frequently!"

"Leo provided a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was great, and the service was both quick and friendly. I typically don’t write reviews, but I felt compelled to mention how awesome he was. We switched our dipping sauce, and he was more than happy to accommodate our request. After we went to the second window to wait, he realized he had forgotten to include the changed sauce in the bag. When we asked to wait for a moment, he promptly returned with the correct sauce. It would have been nice if they had mentioned that typically, this situation doesn’t happen, but overall, it was a great experience!"

"We grab lunch from here regularly, and it is always excellent. In a last minute rush for a big dinner, I ordered online 2 XL Family Packs. It was ready when I arrived, and everyone was very helpful. The food was great and all my guests wanted to know where it came from. Thanks so much, I will do this again."
