"This has to be my favorite restaurant in Boston. I never had Sichuan food before going here six months ago, but even now after having had Sichuanese cuisine elsewhere Our Zone is still my go-to. The owner and staff are wonderful, welcoming people; the restaurant is always clean and quiet; and the food is divine.I want to express how every dish I've had here has been delicious, and I am more and more impressed and ecstatic each menu item I try. That being said, here are some highlights I'd recommend their hot pot for someone new to Sichuan cuisine, as it's a great introduction to mala seasoning. Share it The duck blood and tripe hot pot is my go-to: the blood curd is silky smooth, and the tripe tender and toothsome The popcorn chicken is my favorite fried chicken dish in Boston it's perfectly crunchy and tender, and the plum powder (li hing mui? not sure) is delicious And to avoid making this an essay, I also love the fish pickled cabbage soup (tangy refreshing); the green bean spinach noodle (a great cold appetizer); and the leek pork dumplings.The restaurant does have limited seating so I would recommend calling ahead on busier nights, otherwise there tends to be a table open!"

"I made a reservation for a group of 10, not realizing it was only 25 minutes before the kitchen closed. We ordered a nice variety of dishes and received our food quickly. The staff was attentive, and everything we tried was delicious. The only downside was that I had trouble reaching the restaurant by phone earlier in the day when I wanted to change our reservation. I also would have appreciated a heads-up about how close our reservation was to closing time. I’ll definitely come back to try their raw bar next time!"

"Always great food. Greek chicken salad, all breakfasts, chilli, coneys, gyro, club sandwich are all ingenious. I was there with my daughter today. She asked about the kitchen and I asked our waitress if she could go back to see the great skill they cook. They went back and the owner went around her to show her all parts of the kitchen. Very nice people. The manager/owner even came out after we went to our car and gave my daughter a strawberry milkshake on the house! Totally unexpected and very nice of them. We'll be back. It is pleasing to see friendly people especially in the restaurant industry, after all the garbage they have been through short waiters and increasing food costs."

"I'm not sure what that other review is talking about. The owner's of this restaurant are fantastic people. Perhaps the most hospitable and generous people I've met. The restaurant is clean in fact I watch the bussing staff clean each table with bleach soaked clothes and wipe all the salt shakers, etc. down each and every time. It's a wonderful place to go for breakfast or lunch."

"Came here right at 8:00 a.m. on a Monday morning right when they open. the lady who greeted me said hi but she did not look particularly too happy It is a pretty lively and colorful cafe. Got loud music playing. it did take a while to make the banh mi. I assume it is fresh. Looks like they were setting up as well. I grew up during an era where banh mi cost 2 to $3 before it got super popular. These days they can run anywhere from $6-8 depending on where you buy it. It costs $11 here, but not too surprised by it based on the location. Saw good reviews on Google and yelp. So figure out give it a shot since I'm in the area For a cafe , they did you have a sign saying no Wi-Fi which is odd and a loss opportunity After you order you can self serve yourself with some water on the side. Banh mi itself is small for the price. Bread was nicely toasted which I do like. It was cut and presented nicely. Pork does not have a lot flavor. Too much pickled veggies for my liking. Has jalapeno pepper instead of the Thai pepper which has more heat. It is also missing patte and the secret sauce that makes an authentic banh mi a banh mi. Overall banh mi is ok if you REALLY wanted one. You will find more authentic banh mi in Dorchester and Randolph."

"If you’re looking for a solid Panini spot in Boston, you have to try Greenhouse Kitchen!I ordered it in for delivery. I’ve ordered in from Greenhouse Kitchen many times. They have a solid selection of Paninis, Subs, Salads, Wraps, Pizza, Risotto, and Fresh Pastas. There is truly something on the menu for everyone!Their appetizer menu could certainly use a refresh and more options. That is the one part of the menu lacking in selection and variety.My two favorites here are the Homemade Meatball Parmigiana the Prosciutto Panini. The portion sizes are HUGE. One sub or panini is bigger than a footlong! You can easily split a sandwich with others- or save it for another meal. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the portion size.We typically order a Meatball Parmigiana The Prosciutto Panini and split both. You will certainly be full after a meal here! The Paninis are toasted perfectly the bread doesn’t turn soggy, like many places.The Meatball sub was perfect. The sauce was just right, not too acidic. The gooey, melty cheese was just right. One of my all-time favorites from here.The Prosciutto Panini is also one of my favorites. However, I noticed they changed the prosciutto since last year. It is overly salty and not the same quality prosciutto they once served. It’s also very tough, which should not be the case. Quality prosciutto is tender and melts in your mouth. This is why I had to knock off a star. Otherwise, they’d get a solid five from me.We ended up enjoying the Meatball sub and tossed the Prosciutto Panini. It was just way too salty and the new prosciutto they’re using is why. I hope they’ll go back to what they once used. It won’t stop me from returning, I just wouldn’t order it again.Everything is well packed and delivered piping hot. The bread is always toasted perfectly and holds up to the ingredients. The Meatball sub was perfect, no soggy bread.If you’re looking for a solid Panini/Hot Sub spot with massive portions, be sure to give this place a try! I wonder how they even do it for the reasonable price charged! One of my favorites!"

"Impossible to park in Brighton during the summer. 3 vegetarian (no meat) entrees cost more than $21.00 each? Extra charge of $3.00 (per item) to change from spaghetti to angel hair, even for the eggplant parmigiana side. Garlic bread was sweet with undetectable garlic flavor. No tomato in the salad? The house dressing was a sweet balsamic rather italian? Seriously, why name your restaurant using Italian words just call it expensive Olive Garden."

"The service here is very friendly and quick, making it easy to place an order and grab your meal to go. I tried the Spicy Garlic Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! "Delicious from the beginning to end. Started with tabouli, crushed lentil soup and my husband with the lamb chili. I then had the chicken schwarma sandwich and my husband the lamb chop dinner with grilled vegetables. We loved the warm naan bread and garlic spread. I capped it off with a Middle Eastern Coffee. All delicious and perfect for a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon lunch. Service as well was impeccable. Keep up the great work."

"My husband and I were celebrating our 10-year anniversary and had a Friday lunch at Railstop. We sat at the bar where Eric took care of us. He was amazing! His personality, energy, recommendations, and humor made our experience even better. The food and drinks are always a win, too. The mac and cheese, Harvest Salad with salmon, nitro espresso martini, Autumn Harvest, Railstop burger. It’s all delicious."

"We had to wait quite a while just for our drinks, and I could hear the bartender across the room awkwardly asking where to find “Margarita” — was it under “M”? The margarita itself was mediocre at best, and the Moscow mule was also disappointing. The Caesar salad lacked enough dressing, leaving it feeling like plain dry lettuce with parmesan. The mashed potatoes were just okay, and the sautéed mushrooms could have been better. The bistec was tender and flavorful, but the cooking temperature was inconsistent; some pieces were medium rare while others were overcooked. I had to send back the spaghetti with bolognese sauce because a significant portion of the noodles was clumped together and undercooked. The highlight of the evening was definitely the lobster linguini in a creamy saffron sauce. The pasta was cooked just beyond al dente, and while the sauce could have been a bit thicker, the flavor was spot on. The lobster was perfectly cooked and consistently tender throughout. If the restaurant can achieve more consistent cooking temperatures for the steak and better techniques for the pasta, several of these dishes could have scored higher. Additionally, providing better training for the new staff would greatly enhance the experience and atmosphere, allowing all guests to enjoy their meals more fully."

"This place is my partner and I’s go-to coffee shop ever since moving to the area a couple of months ago. The lemon chicken panini is so melty and full of flavor. You get plenty of product for your money. It’s worth the price. The espresso is delicious. It gets pretty packed on the weekends and sometimes it’s a good 15-25 minute wait but it’s entirely worth it and the quality is consistent regardless of how swamped they may be in the mornings. It’s a very friendly, “mom and pop” atmosphere and you don’t see that much anymore these days. Keep up the good work!"

"We came for our anniversary. The hostess wished us a happy anniversary, but the waitress never even mentioned it. She was pleasant, but rushed through everything tonight. The bulgogi tacos were flavorful, but would be far more enjoyable if they split the ingredients between three smaller taco shells instead of two larger, overstuffed shells. The drunken salmon was fairly typical, but didn't seem worth the price. The presentation was definitely lacking. It looked like some of the salmon stuck to the pan and didn't make it to the plate, but it didn't affect the flavour. Overall, it was an ok experience, but nothing special."

"Really great Greek spot with lots of options at different price points. Our server was very nice and attentive- and when my dining companion ordered their food without cheese, the waiter made sure to advise on any other dairy based foods we ordered (asking if the sauce on the gyro was okay and the dressing on the salad) which was super appreciated! Fast service, and there's almost always somewhere to sit! We both got gyros which were delicious- the meat was so tender and the pita bread was so flaky and amazing. The basic gyro comes with a small Greek salad which was also delicious and had an amazing (dairy free) sauce! I've been to this place a couple times and the service is always amazing and the food delicious!"

"I've enjoyed sushi in cities like New York, LA, Las Vegas, San Diego, Tokyo, and Brighton, and I can confidently say that Sushi Zen stands among the very best. The freshness of the ingredients, the beautiful presentation, the extensive selection, and the ideal location are all exceptional. And just to clarify, I have no biases in my review. "Never had Afghan food before. This was my first experience and it is Ok. I've been eyeing this restaurant for a while and finally decided to give it a try. The entree portion size is perfect for one person and definitely on the expensive side. +points: Nicehost, good ambiance and there have a lot of options for vegetarians.
