"Came here right at 8:00 a.m. on a Monday morning right when they open. the lady who greeted me said hi but she did not look particularly too happy It is a pretty lively and colorful cafe. Got loud music playing. it did take a while to make the banh mi. I assume it is fresh. Looks like they were setting up as well. I grew up during an era where banh mi cost 2 to $3 before it got super popular. These days they can run anywhere from $6-8 depending on where you buy it. It costs $11 here, but not too surprised by it based on the location. Saw good reviews on Google and yelp. So figure out give it a shot since I'm in the area For a cafe , they did you have a sign saying no Wi-Fi which is odd and a loss opportunity After you order you can self serve yourself with some water on the side. Banh mi itself is small for the price. Bread was nicely toasted which I do like. It was cut and presented nicely. Pork does not have a lot flavor. Too much pickled veggies for my liking. Has jalapeno pepper instead of the Thai pepper which has more heat. It is also missing patte and the secret sauce that makes an authentic banh mi a banh mi. Overall banh mi is ok if you REALLY wanted one. You will find more authentic banh mi in Dorchester and Randolph."

Top tier breakfast sandwiches and nice ambiance to do work. They don't have wifi, but they have a sweet backyard patio.

Really good, but weirdly expensive. I am not sure how a chicken Caesar wrap and a small black iced coffee is $21? Taste good, but cannot justify the price!

Amazing food! I love the southwest salad, it's the best salad I have ever had. It's busy for a reason. I especially love eating outside on the patio in the back.

I got the breakfast burrito with some add-ins and it was really good. The salsa verde on the side was excellent. I would try anything else on the menu, very good food and service. View menu

This restaurant offers a wide range of options and is popular with the locals. As someone who avoids dairy, I appreciate that they make an effort to cater to dietary restrictions. However, the downside is that they are often overcrowded and understaffed, resulting in lengthy wait times.

Stopped in Dash cafe for lunch with a couple of co-workers on a Thursday. It wasn't very busy with eat in customers, but their phone was ringing off the hook with take out orders. I made my own sandwich... they were out of tuna (that was my first choice) turkey with cheddar and chipotle aioli. Grilled to perfection and the chipotle aioli was delicious! I also got fries, they were good too! They also had salads and coffees. We will be returning!

So, I'd say the wait time is tough on a lunch time schedule. Food: I ordered the ban Thai sandwich, which was a bit spicy and too crisp. For the time that we waited, it was maybe not the best sandwich for lunch on a Friday. I would say the pork tasted fresh, but the bread tasted too stiff. Drinks: The iced coffees have always been great! I truly loved the iced latte and the chai iced! I highly recommend the iced coffees in the summer, especially when you're on a walk! Ambiance: cute cafe! I think it's a mom and pops so I absolutely want to support! It's quite quaint and simple! View menu

I ordered a hand-made sandwich called the Caesar's Palace and waited about 20 minutes for it to arrive. I was wondering what was taking so long, but when the sandwich finally arrived, I understood why. The chicken was freshly cooked, the bacon was crispy and warm, and there was a nice green Romaine lettuce leaf and a bright red tomato peeking out of the sandwich. The advertised avocado was clearly present, all on top of lightly toasted Iggy's bread. I later found out that the chef was also the owner of the restaurant, and the young man who took my order was patient and friendly as I struggled to choose from the delicious menu options.

This is one of my personal favorite restaurants. I've tried items from both the breakfast and lunch menus, and everything has been fantastic. The breakfast burrito and breakfast banh mi (try it on a French roll instead of a bagel) are both exceptional. For lunch, the Asian fried chicken sandwich, steak and cheese, traditional banh mi (I prefer mine with chicken and a fried egg on top), chili chicken burrito, and Cubano sandwich are all delicious options. Their soups are always homemade and superb. They also offer homemade smoothies and desserts. The service is excellent and the ambiance is cool, especially with an outdoor patio in the back for nice weather. I highly recommend this place.

"I haven't been to a Heidi's in years and I was so excited when I found out there was still a location in Brighton. The food is just as good as I remembered. I got the Country Egg Salad on Sourdough and added Cheddar cheese. It's a good size sandwich and it was very filling. The egg salad was plentiful and well seasoned. The side of coleslaw was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing and the pickle was cold and garlicky which is my favorite way to have pickles. I also got a Blueberry Hand Pie which I've never had from Heidi's before and it was absolutely delicious. The crust on the hand pie was flaky and buttery and the blueberry filling was not too sweet and appeared to be homemade with fresh blueberries which was a nice touch. I'm a big fan of their fresh ingredients and large portions. The service was alright and although it took a few minutes for the staff to realize I was there (it wasn't very busy when I stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday), the two women working behind the counter were very friendly and I got my food very quickly. The ambiance was alright but most of the tables were dirty with crumbs and other spilled food so I had to wipe down my table and chair before sitting down. Also the prices were a bit high and I paid almost $19 for one sandwich and the hand pie no drink or chips. I really hope to be back to this location sometime soon and I hope they don't close this location like they did to the one in Parker."
