"It was very busy when I arrived but Robert was very quick (and awesome!! at getting me a table!! Anna was my server (she was amazing!! It was during a rush and she did wonderful balancing her tables, and she always checked on me- my water never went past half empty!! and all of my food was DELISH!! Alejandro also helped, and he was amazing, and very sweet!! You can tell there’s a lot of teamwork and rhythm within the staff!! Altogether the people here are lovely- Not to mention the food is FANTASTIC!! It’s affordable and everything I’ve EVER had has taste and quality!! They are VERY generous with their servings (as someone who can EAT, I always find myself full with plenty leftover!! and it’s always so fresh and yummy!! I think this is my new favorite spot; altogether the hospitality and experience is 100000/10, I highly highly recommend!! "Honestly the service was really good and the atmosphere was very calming, but the food itself was just ok and the price was unreasonable. They basically force u to get an appetizer with the main dish and that’s how they upsell u. I got a plate with the eggplant beef and it was good don’t get me wrong, but not worth 31 dollars, especially not with the smaller portion size. I get that it’s Brookline, but they’re doing too much. If you have the extra cash then you’ll have a good time, but it is not justified. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"This restaurant has been in business for decades but somehow I only recently got around to trying it at the suggestion of the owner of my favorite wine shop. I see no why he raved about it. Everything was very tasty arrived promptly and hot. (The Gambas were still sizzling in the cast iron skillet in which they were served. The Espinacas (spinach with pine nuts and Setas (mushroom with duck egg were especially delicious. Most of the menu are Raciones, which are like Tapas but large enough to share. Three of those plus one Plato were enough for two people and left room for dessert. If you order everything at once it will come out all at once, so either order a bit at a time or be explicit about your preferences for courses. The wine list is one of the largest I've seen and mostly from Rioja which goes well with the food. The place is not cheap but is good value for the quality on offer."

"I have never had a better experience at a restaurant all thanks to their GM Jeff! I cannot say enough about the kindness, empathy and personal attention he showed to us on a very difficult day. To feel so cared for at a restaurant by a total stranger was heartwarming and I can’t say thank you enough. I am still at a loss for words to fully describe the impact that night had on me. Jeff is phenomenal at what he does and how he does it, Barcelona is very lucky to have him! Dietary restrictions: The staff is always happy to let you know which dishes can be made vegan!"

"Don’t like the salad too much .But this shrimp tempura roll is really delicious. Shaomai is average and not recommended. The other side of Coolidge Corner, but it feels sparsely populated. It seems that it can only be taken out, and the takeaway package is particularly good.I think it may not satisfy the taste, but the pursuit of cost-effectiveness is really worth it. More importantly, they have a lot of choices, all of which are so cheap! ! ! What else are grilled cheese sweet potatoes, golden shrimp balls, fried tofu, I want to try it next time."

"this place is the perfect date night place. it is located in a strange part of the city, and I do not recommend to stop at one of the fuel points in the opposite. it is original, candlelight and has very high quality food. we had the meatballs as appetizer, fig infused bourbon drink, local beer, lemon spaghetti, and the spinat lasagne and were blown away with them all. the service was fast and efficient. this place is really a hidden gem! highly recommended, really!"

"We stopped in and Ordered Thai to go for dinner for our group four adults with one two year old. We ordered the pad Thai with chicken, red curry with chicken and drunken noodles with chicken. We asked for extra hot sauce since some of us like the heat. The food as ready quickly and packaged for easy transporting as we were walking. The food was all hot and had a mild spice level. The chicken curry came with rice, and had peppers and onions with the chicken in the red curry sauce. The pad Thai was a favorite for the young one the noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice mild peanut sauce. We were told the drunken noodles would be very spicy but found them to be moderately spicy and added the extra hot sauce to give it heat. All meals were generous portions and we had plenty for lunch the next day. The service was very good and the price was reasonable."

"My boyfriend and I recently found this restaurant and went for his birthday. The food was phenomenal, everything was quick and everyone was very kind. It was so good we just also ordered delivery to satisfy our craving, and the quality is still excellent. One of our favorite places now for sure. Thank you for the food! Highkey wish I had a photo to add, but we just cleaned our plates and it made me want to come write this review!"

"I came to sushi express for the $20 (can't remember exact price) 3 roll sushi combo that comes with a side salad, miso soup, three 6 piece rolls, and soda. The sushi is very average for the three roll combo where I got the spicy crab, spicy tiny and spicy salmon. All the sushi had a similar orange inside with a deep fried part. I could not necessarily taste the fish quality as there was the crispy/fried taste. The miso soup, salad, and soda was decent. This place when I went was quite empty but great for a quick in and out meal for a good price"

"Just like everyone else is saying, the Impossible cheeseburger pizza absolutely rocks. Crust has that perfect fires and a little charred but not burnt flavor to it, sauce is great, and all the toppings work well together. I brought a leftover slice to my non-vegan father when I went to visit him, and even he said it was one of the best pieces of pizza he’d ever had. I’ve been here a couple times when I was in the area and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were all very pleasant, and the chef or one of the cooks actually came out of the kitchen when he noticed we ordered vegan and gave us a handful of recommendations for other vegan restaurants in greater Boston."

"This situation makes me ponder a lot about my experiences at restaurants. Am I being treated poorly, or is it just my perception? Or perhaps I'm the one with biases against certain staff members. I wish I could understand myself better in this regard. To be truly fair to myself and the restaurant, I think I should visit at least ten times and note the differences with each visit. That way, I could determine who's really at fault. Could it be that the same worker had a series of bad days every time I went? Or was my demeanor off when I placed my order? Did I approach the restaurant with preconceived notions? Maybe there was a miscommunication and the staff member wasn't in the best mood, which affected my experience. All these questions swirl in my mind. Was the issue on my end or theirs? I often wish there were a device that could assess the situation and tell me where the fault lies. If it indicates that I need to improve my mindset, I could work on that. But if it points to the restaurant, they could make necessary adjustments. Imagine how invaluable such a machine would be!"

"I don't give anyone 5 stars but this place was that good. The food was fresh and made while we waited, no microwave here. The bartender knew what she was doing and made fabulous drinks. The service was impeccable and the music in the background was so good you want to sing along which one of the waitresses would occasionally do. Fantastic experience, great food and drinks. Sorry we waited so long to try it."

"The staff at Brother's are the best of the best! They are the kindest souls and the most professional of any restaurant in the area. The community they serve are incredibly lucky to have them and they are my go-to every time I'm looking for delicious food.I love their pizza, their chicken steak bombs, their burrito is so good! I'm also a huge fan of their chicken finger sub, their chicken, broccoli, ziti alfredo is freshly made to order. The roast beef is incredible as well as their calzones.Sometimes, I'll go in their to pick up my food and they will kindly toss me an entire bag of sub rolls or a slice of pizza that they would normally just toss in the trash.Who does stuff like this anymore? No one! They care about their customers wholeheartedly and it keeps me coming back time and time again!Much Love!"

"I don’t understand how come this place has 4.6 star rating, we ordered calamari, – returned because they were cooked in a very old oil, ordered caprese salad, I don’t understand how come this place has 4.6 star rating, we ordered calamari, – returned because they were cooked in a very old oil, ordered Capri salad. Just terrible, the cheapest tomatoes, almost no basil, tasteless, ordered Panini botega de capri Tasteless , ate half of it, My stomach is upset, my mother had homemade meatball, pasta c – the lowest quality I have had, everything taste like diet food, no salt, no pepper, no seasoning, terrible and worse experience, shame on you Servicing this kind of food in Brookline The atmosphere is very poor, but when they are because of high rating, was hoping to have great real Italian food, the worst experience, will never come back, don’t recommend to eat there at allthe Capri"

"The food was pretty good, and the staff was nice, but a little frustrated when I asked for the fresh squeezed OJ that is priced at 6$ a piece, only I witnessed the server pour a gallon of like Cumberland farm brand OJ, on top of seeing a roach crawling across the counter by the register. Paid almost 50$ for 2 meals and 2 OJs, when they really only should have charged around 35$ had I known I was gonna be served garelick farms orange juice lol"

"I ride past Basil Rice every day and finally decided to stop in. I'm really glad I did; it's a hidden gem! I've been there three times this week and plan to return soon. The food is delightful and tastes incredibly fresh. I tried the chicken teriyaki with white rice and their version of orange chicken (as shown in the picture). My son wasn't a fan of the orange chicken since it wasn't the crispy variety he was used to. I called to express my concern, leaving a detailed message, but didn't receive a response. When I returned the next day with the plate, I learned that this is just how they prepare it. This experience made me take off a star, as I hoped for a different resolution. There wasn't an offer for an exchange or an apology regarding the orange chicken. I simply requested to discard that plate and paid for my chicken teriyaki to go (also pictured below). While waiting, I noticed a couple of dishes being served to other diners. I inquired and learned they were shrimp pineapple fried rice and garlic chicken with fried rice. Also, when you request double meat, you really get double meat! On my first visit, the entire container was filled with meat, while the rice was in a separate small takeout box. That definitely won me over! Plus, their website is user-friendly."

"I had heard plenty of positive feedback from friends about this restaurant, so I decided to make a reservation for dinner. The reviews on Google also seemed quite promising. While the service was friendly, the food did not live up to the praise it had received. My friends had described it as one of the best pizza places I'd ever visit. However, the pizzas we ordered were lacking in toppings. One of our pizzas had barely any chicken, and the other had an excessive amount of crust, leaving nearly 2 inches of dough exposed. For $24 a pizza, I expected significantly better quality. I've attached some pictures for a better visual representation. I had high hopes for this place, but I was sadly disappointed. Perhaps it was an off night for them, but I can't understand how they could miss the mark so significantly given all the positive reviews."

"I cannot even start to describe how bad this place is. And the owner acts lihe's doing you a favor for allowing you to get his food which is not even good. His attitude is Despicable of humankind And when you're reminding him that this is his business and needs to be more polite to customers. His response is. If you don't like it, you can leave now. If you guys wanna eat at a place that the food comes out cold or saggy. And attitude from the owner be my guest. This is the best place for that. And when you write a review on googhe responds, it will be that he made a mistake he learned from his mistakes which he never does. I read someone wrote a review on Google about 8 months ago. This is how his response was and again. Today he had the same attitude. I don't know what's going on with his personal life his finance. But if he wants to succeed, he must change his attitude. And I'm certain he will write. I reply to this some kind of rude answer as well."

"I ordered Drunken Noodles with Beef for pickup. It was done in 10 minutes and the woman working the front was very friendly. The food smelled amazing when I first opened it up back home. I was also pleased that the beef and vegetables were all cooked properly (not overcooked) and that the food was not overly greasy. The portion was more than enough for me. I will definitely return to try out other items. Wish I could dine in and have a drink, but can't due to covid."

"I've only ever ordered delivery from this place and it is my favorite ramen! Their black tonkotsu is out of this world. The soup has a nutty black sesame taste. They give pork belly two ways (crispy and braised). There's a good amount of complementary veggies. It is only missing an egg. My partner really likes their spicy miso beef stew. The beef is so tender. I also really enjoy their chicken karage! It's my favorite chicken karage in the Boston area.I've had their pork bowls, duck bowls, and duck soup. All of it were very tasty, but I always end up with the black tonkotsu. You don't regret that one.I did hear that the other locations are not so great, so I always stick with the Brookline location. Whatever it is they are doing, they are doing it well! Please excuse the chicken picture! It was so good, I forgot to take a picture before I ate 3 pieces!"
