"Crab cakes were wonderful on a artful plate. Also had duck confit with a lovely crisp skin with a nice arugula salad with pear and orange sections. Most times the duck skin on these type of dishes aren't crisp, BUT..... Franny's does it right with crispy skin and moist duck meat. If you are a lighter eater and a duck lover this dish would be ideal. Halibut was so fresh and cooked to perfection with a light sauce, with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. We shared the Chocolate terrine, always a nice finish to have a few bites chocolate as we finished the last of our wine. As we looked around all we saw was happy diners with clean plates. Franny's has a full bar, and makes a lovely Cosmo. Also their wine list is very good and not over priced."

"We were seated outside on a lovely patio. The food was very good ,portions were small but delicious. Our biggest disappointment was service. The wine list was extremely over priced and the sommelier was knowledgeable but recommended a wine that was not of our liking. He never returned to ask how we liked the wine. Which I would have returned and asked for my original choice. Our food server was pleasant but not trained properly. He ended the evening stacking our plates along with scrapping them at my place setting !We left disappointed and annoyed . I cannot recommend this restaurant"

"After a lovely hike in the Nathan Bedford Forrest state park, we were feeling both hungry and totally icky about the commemorative **** and quotable quotes book for sale in honor of the eponymous despicable KKK leader. We had the most pleasant stop on the way home at the DayMaker Cafe and washed off that awful ick with delicious sandwiches, welcoming and clean restrooms (for all identities), and super fun toys for my toddler to play with while we are. Service was super fast and friendly too. What a serendipitous oasis after a troubling stop at the museum in the park. My hats off to the owner/operator. I'd buy your commemorative merch if you sold it!"

"I feel like I wasted my money. I ordered the exact same order from last time. The old order was still saved on doordash page. So I didnt put in a new order but I got food completely different from my last order. On top of everything the wrong food they sent was dry and bland. My Large chicken lo mein was just a little bit of chicken, a few onions, and dry noodles. There was literally nothing else to it. It was awful down to the egg rolls. It was so bad I took the time to put in this review. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!"

From the appetizers, of fried okra and fish bits, that where not burned of raw,. But a succulent balance. To the Steak and Shrimp that was cooked exactly as ordered. Without drowning in spices or sauce. But rather a fine cut of beef that was delicious. Definitely worth the time to divert from any travel plans in the area. 5 stars to the staff and owners of this water front gem. Ps. Save a bit for the ducks that waddle around outside."

"Now, this review has nothing to do with the quality of food at this restaurant. I have eaten here for years, and the food is always top-notch and service superb. This review is for the lack of preparation, knowledge, and ability to handle food related allergies. We had our company Christmas party here today. My daughter under two has a mild dairy allergy and a severe allergy to eggs and peanuts. My business partner, being the excellent friend and man he is, brought a list made by me with questions to the resteraunt during the week. He spoke with an employee there who answered questions and was only not able to answer one: the ingredients in the bread. We were made to feel like there would be few items that could not be eaten, the fried foods. There is always risk, and you have to ask questions. Afternoon of the dinner, the only thing that could safely be eaten was the vegetable medley. Also, the manager in the kitchen could not even give me the ingredients used in the breads. This is a huge example of poor food safety training and regulations. Even if the breads come from a local bakery, you have to knowt he ingredients before you serve it in the food industry. I DO NOT KNOW, is a childs answer."

My family of 7 enjoyed, 2 burgers with fries, ribeye dinner, 1 kids popcorn shrimp with fries, 1 kids chicken tender with fries, 1 crab cake dinner, and I had the large grilled shrimp dinner with green beans and potato salad. The potato salad, coleslaw, and dinner rolls are homemade, delicious. Servers were friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for the wonderful food service."

"My wife and I just finished a busy year of wedding planning. I can't tell you how many things went wrong with planning, but when the day of the wedding came and Scott showed up with his entire Restraunt Crew plus a few people to help it went absolutely amazing. They even helped clean decorations at the end of the day and Scott helped my bride on the island. Amy Cooper was an absolute blessing during this stressful time. Food was absolutely banished and the service was about everything we experienced during this special day of our life. If the quote of doing what you love and you will never work a day of your life is used with these hard workers I can absolutely see that they go beyond and beyond to ensure that your stress day will not be a problem when you use your business to accompany your event. "The pizza slices were so poorly constructed that they fell apart easily. The thinness of the dough was especially noticeable, which is crucial for a good pizza. To top it off, the food was inconsistent, and the staff's rudeness was downright unacceptable. They completely shirked responsibility for the quality of their offerings. I'm left baffled as to how this establishment remains in business or attracts customers at all. After this visit, I certainly won’t be returning. If you’re in search of quality pizza, delicious food, and genuine service, I strongly advise staying away from this place. It seems they only care about profits and treat anyone who doesn't spend a lot as if they don't matter. It shouldn’t be an issue to request a replacement for an inedible slice. In summary, this restaurant is a disappointment, and I would rate it a -1 star if that were possible. They should really consider closing down. I would rather go hungry than set foot in this restaurant again. This poor experience will surely impact their business, and perhaps they will learn from it in the end."

"The waitress was very quick and attentive. Our food came out faster than it could have been cooked. It was refrigerator cold. Waitress took it to be redone and it came out sizzling 3 minutes later. When I went to pay the older woman charged 25 for my plate about 10 more than the menu called for and when I mentioned the cold food she asked if they had fixed it. I said yes they microwaved it and she looked me dead in my face and lied saying that they recooked it. It was not recooked it was the exact plate I sent back. I will not be returning."

The sandwich was stuffed with a chopped medley of seafood (primarily salmon), melted cheese, broccoli, fried onions, ketchup, mayo and topped with shrimp. I'm addicted. We also had the seafood salad and that was hella good too! Customer service was top notch. The guy working there gave us free bottles of water to wash our food down with! Only thing is that I wish the menu could be updated to make customers aware that the alfredo dishes are only available on Wednesdays now. I was really hoping to place an order of salmon alfredo to go for dinner, but was informed they're too busy with the popularity of their seafood cheesesteak. No biggie! Maybe next time."

Our waitress was new, and I had to request an extra basket of chips since we only had one for a table of six, despite ordering queso and hot sauce as appetizers. The plates were served one or two at a time, which caused delays of several minutes, so nobody started eating until everyone had their meal. Despite this, I would definitely return. I had the shredded chicken burritos, while my colleague had the American-style beef tacos, and everyone was pleased with their food."
