"I really love the ambience of this place, but on a restaurant front it left a lot to be desired. I'd been dying to check this place out for a really long time, always seeing the sign on the side of the road, just never got the timing right because they always open later than I'm usually out. One night we eventually stumbled in to meet up with my dad, who was there for Open Mic night. I didn't order any food that night, but we sat in the back and listened to the live music while playing Jenga and Connect Four. It was actually pretty fun, and I fell in love with the space pretty quickly. Just waiting for the stars to align again. When we finally returned, the experience was pretty subpar. There was live music so we had to pay a $5 cover just to get in. We waited a while for a waitress to come over, and I was generally unsure if we ordered food at the counter or had table service. After a few minutes I asked for a couple of menus and a waitress came over to our table after. It took her about 15 minutes to come back to our table after the initial drink order to take our food order. I ordered the Veggie Wrap, which included some weird veggies artichokes and caramelized onions. I decided to just give it a try anyway, had never had artichokes before. I guess I just ordered the wrong thing, I really didn't like it. Even if I had, the whole thing was so saturated that the poor spinach wrap could barely hold everything together. The thing was coming apart in my hands and I resorted to eating it with a fork. Whatever kinds of wraps they get, it definitely CAN'T hold all of the stuff they pack in there. And, I just realized that wraps come with a side of chips or soup/salad for additional charge, and I wasn't given or offered any sides at all. There weren't many people dining, most just hanging out at the bar, so I don't understand why service was kind of sucky. I definitely want to return to this place to try again; like I said, I may have just ordered the wrong thing. Their menu has flatbreads and paninis that I'd be willing to try. I hope I won't be disappointed."

"We have a memorial gathering to celebrate my mother's life in a private room at the Hollow Bistro and we are so happy we had our event there! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waiters were attentive without being intrusive (a difficult balance to strike). All the staff were very professional and easy to work with. I especially appreciated the event coordinator who sent many emails back and forth with me and was very kind, courteous, prompt in all her communication with me prior to the event. We will definitely consider this place for future family gatherings. I highly recommend this restaurant for private events! Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu for the little ones! Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for my family members with limited mobility through a side door that led directly into the event space. "My dinner at Kennedy's Cove was alright, but definitely not worth the money... or the sore knees. Our meal started strong with an excellent appetizer: bourbon BBQ bacon. It was seasoned well and cooked to perfection, setting our expectations high. Sadly, it went downhill from there. My wife's veal was passable. However, the salads lacked any character while the twice baked potatoes were surprisingly bland and a bit dry. As if to make up for the lack of flavor, my salmon steak was saturated with pepper; I had to use the sauces they provided just to make the dish edible. My biggest complaint, however, was the space. It's clear the owners try hard to create a great atmosphere. The tank full of exotic fish is a great touch, but I feel they blocked out a little too much of the natural light. The worst, though, was how tightly packed the tables were. I had to sit extremely close to the table in order to leave room for other diners and to comfortably reach my plate; I spent the whole time trying to keep my legs from falling asleep. Mind you, I'm only 6-foot tall, so being that cramped is quite rare for me. As for the service, they were very attentive. Our particular server, struggled to answer our questions but was patient with us. Also, I could tell that the rest of the staff was more experienced and skilled. Overall, I don't feel this restaurant is bad, but it is overrated. I left disappointed, feeling had wasted my time and money. "I have mixed feelings about this place. It looks like a really nice craft beer bar, but my experience was frustrating. I have a severe wheat allergy and usually drink Labatt's Blue Light, which is a double barley and hops beer, so I know my way around good beers. However, this bar had an extensive list of craft beers, yet the bartender couldn’t provide any information about their ingredients and didn’t know which beers contained wheat. He was friendly, but kept insisting that all beers have gluten. I understand that, but wheat should not be in beer! The beer he suggested was decent, but unfortunately, I felt sick an hour after leaving. I won’t be going back. I enjoy exploring new places and trying new beers, but it’s just not worth the risk here. For anyone with dietary restrictions, I would advise against going—there are no salads or French fries, as everything is coated with gluten. I definitely wouldn’t eat here again."

"It started off good with the kind hostess and being seated promptly given menus, but that was the best of it. After we were seated it took about 5-10 minutes for a waitress to come over to get our drink order. We ordered two waters; I ordered mine with no ice because I don 't like it super cold. We also ordered our food; chicken fingers and their famous ranch burger. About five or so minutes more until we got our waters. My cup had a big crack down the side of it had a slow leak. I was hoping to catch the waitress on the way by to tell her, but she was nowhere to be found, so I just put a napkin under it. We finished our waters in about 10 or minutes and put them at the edge of the table since they were empty. The waitress went by a few times and didn 't check on us or ask if we wanted more. Another 15 minutes went by with the cups sitting there and she finally asked if we wanted more water. I told her about my cup and she apologized and brought a new one. We waited around another 20-25 minutes until our food came out, so approximately an hour since we were seated and 50 minutes after we ordered to get our food. It was nice and hot when it came out. The chicken fingers were very small, like the size of two nuggets end to end, but my boyfriend said they at least tasted good. My burger was fine, nothing to write home about, so unsure why it 's called their famous ranch burger. Just two smallish burgers on a bun with lettuce, tomato, cheese and secret sauce. The fries were good. When we were finished, I asked for a box which never came from the waitress neither did the bill. After about another 10 minutes another worker noticed me sitting there with my credit card out ready to pay and did bring the bill, so I asked her for the box I needed. My boyfriend used the bathroom and said the ceiling tile that was holding the light was falling out. The ladies room was ok. With the poor service very long wait (they did not seem overly busy we didn 't have a complicated order) I would not make it a point to visit here again."

"This small town bar and grill has a decor that is racing themed with some sports teams. The staff and patrons are welcoming. The prices and portion sizes are good. My husband and I dine here weekly. We had dinner and the cost was $20-30 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 5. Highly recommend the Onion Rings and Ribeye Sandwich."

"We 've driven by this restaurant many times and every time the hubby says they have good food. So, for date night this week we ventured out here. Friendliness our server was great. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She offered suggestions and was quick with refills. Cleanliness the restaurant was very clean. From the parking lot, the landscaping, the tables, bathroom, silverware... everything was great. It makes a huge difference. Atmosphere the decor was a bit lacking. The signs on the door stating they will not accept coupons because of the pandemic was a bit off putting. We didn 't have a coupon but if I did, I would have been upset. I believe restaurant should honor these. They issued them in hopes of people coming in. I could have done without the fake flowers on the table. A simple candle, a real flower, or nothing would have been nicer. Also, there was a young server loudly complaining about another employee and slamming things. Not what I want to hear after I 've just worked all day and I 'm out to enjoy a date with my husband. The food I give 1 thumbs up for the food. The bread was great, the soup was awesome, I really liked the calamari. But, my entree wasn 't great. My chicken tasted and smelled off a bit. Like it wasn 't so fresh. The marsala sauce was so heavy on the alcohol that it overpowered any other flavor. I had high hopes. I wish the main course was better. I was looking for my favorite non chain Italian place."

"I need to update my review. Even though the sweetest lady works here, they often get orders wrong (especially when she’s not around), and they frequently serve soured cream and milk that ruin the coffee and make me feel sick. If you try to complain, prepare for a confrontational and defensive response, which is disappointing. So, I’m reducing it to 1 star. I do have a good friend who works here, and she is absolutely wonderful. It’s generally a friendly place, though the location can be tricky to access due to the busy intersection. I enjoy the creamy milky drinks, a solid 4/4. However, I wouldn’t recommend anything beyond the coffee and maybe the crullers. Previously, I described it as a Canadian staple. Their hot chocolate isn’t great, their iced cappuccino is decent, coffee enthusiasts love their coffee, but their donuts are subpar. The sandwiches are not worth it—terrible and overpriced. I'd rate the food as 2/5, or even 1/5 for contributing to local businesses closing down. Since one of the nicest people I know works here, I’ll give this location a 3—something I reserve for chains. Overall, they score a 3. Their quality doesn’t vary much from one store to another, yet they seem to pop up on nearly every other street corner!"

"The fish was absolutely amazing, I had the Cajun crunch awesome and not very spicy we also had the soup curry lobster was very delicious as well not very curry we had the corn fritters being from Florida I have eaten many of those and this was quite different but delicious the French fries you are also delicious too ,server was amazing and fall of energy very informative all in all a wonderful experience there definitely will go back again when in this area."

"We stopped in after golfing (three of us), looking for food and a couple of drinks. It was late, the kitchen was closed but the bartender provided us with some veggies and macaroni salad which was appreciated. The owner (Jay) saw what was going on and said he would start the fryer up again. We ordered chicken fingers and wings and they were both awesome! The wings were crispy and done to perfection and the fingers were juicy and thick! When we left we were stuffed and happy! They took care of us and it was appreciated. I recommend stopping in, the food and service are excellent as well as the atmosphere."

"I just got home after staying at this inn for nineteen days. I stayed in the beautiful Blue Willow room which has access to a second floor balcony. I sat on the balcony every morning for about an hour and was enchanted by the lovely grounds and all the birds singing. If I woke up during the night I could hear the frogs singing in the small wetlands area at the back of the grounds. Breakfasts were healthy and delicious. The staff was personable and professional. Any concerns were dealt with immediately. Mr. Bradley McCallum, the proprietor, was everything I could ever want in an inn keeper. He was solicitous, kind, charming and very professional. The personnel working at ASA House just added so much to the quality of our stay. The bathroom in this room was perfect for people with some mobility issues. My husband and I are in our seventies. I just can't say enough about our stay. It was truly delightful."

"I've been shopping here since this place was just small and you could really get fresh produce and goods here I used to brag to people and tell them to come shop at Niagara produce because you could get good fresh produce and meat for a good price I understand about inflation but now it's terrible prices are astronomical produce looks terrible and most vegetables and meat is not locally grown as they advertise the last straw was when I went last week and I needed a few things and one 8 oz brick of cream cheese was $5 rooties blue cheese was $8 the state Fair sausage I used to love is now made with more fat than meat to me I know prices are inflated but this is price gouging to me I wouldn't mind paying the price if it was for good quality produce and meat and goods they need to freshen up seafood counter once in a while. I won't shop anywhere they capitalize on things that you need the most or would like to buy I could say more but I'll leave it as this as that"

"This place is famous for their cookies, but you need to go there for lunch. The soup changes daily with several options, including vegetarian options. The sandwiches and wraps are to die for I highly recommend the pilgrims and get a nice treat to go. They also have muffins and other various breakfast items, many different breads such as peach or blueberry. And not least pick up a pancake for dinner. I had the chicken, curry, and steak and guinness all are excellent, there are more choices and various forms of Mac and cheese. The staff is very friendly and does a great job."

"Over the years, the menu has seen some changes (I've been coming here for more than a decade), but the quality and consistency have remained above average. A good diner often has a wait at the door on weekends, and Emily's is no exception. The staff work hard to seat customers as quickly as possible, but be prepared to wait around 10-15 minutes during busy times. The staff is typically very friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Many have been here for years, while others are newer, but they all know the menu well and are happy to assist with any questions about allergies or food preparation. My father-in-law loves Emily's so much that he insists we come here at least once (if not more) whenever he visits. They’ve recently begun accepting credit cards and also offer takeout, which usually takes about 15-25 minutes from the time you call. The diner is very kid-friendly, with coloring books and crayons available, booster seats, and enough space between tables to accommodate car seats and toys on the floor. If you're visiting in the summer, be sure to save room for ice cream! The portions are just as generous as the breakfast offerings, and who can resist a little extra ice cream?"

"Upon entering the restaurant, I was disheartened to see that neither of the two employees was wearing a mask. This is quite concerning, especially with the ongoing county and state mask mandates, and given that Erie County had recently reported a new COVID case record. While I have a strong appreciation for fresh and healthy food, my health and safety take precedence. I sincerely hope they will start following mask guidelines. Despite my worries, I decided to order two smoothies: a Berry Blast and a Tropical. Both were prepared quickly, taking no more than five minutes, which I appreciated in light of the mask issue. I chose takeout and paid in cash, although I noticed they do accept major credit cards. As for the Berry Blast, it started off tasting decent, but I was left with a rather bitter aftertaste. I had my husband try it without giving him any context, and he also noticed the unpleasant finish and questioned what caused it. Given that I regularly make berry smoothies at home, I likely won’t order that one again. However, the Tropical smoothie was quite enjoyable; it was sweet throughout with no bitter notes. There was a slightly grainy texture that I couldn’t pinpoint, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. I might consider returning to this restaurant in the future, but I genuinely hope they take COVID safety more seriously and adhere to mask-wearing during the mandates."

"I have been there a few times with no problems. Today I order a grilled tenderloin, like i have before, but today i was served a brat patty. When confronted about it the owner said it was a tenderloin and if I wanted a real tenderloin I would have to go across the street. The amount of disappointment I have in him not standing behind his product and straight up lying to my face telling me it was a tenderloin is exponentional. If you make a mistake just say it but this man apparently has too much pride to make mistakes like normal people. The bar tender offered me the sandwich, which i did not eat, for free but i paid because this man obviously needs the money more than he needs to tell the truth. A tenderloin does not have pepper and other seasonings in the middle of it. Buyer beware."
