"This past weekend, we visited Clermont, a popular Italian restaurant in Calabria, based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant has a charming and casual atmosphere. The service provided by the young man who waited on us was excellent. The food was also delicious, from the appetizers (bruschetta and caprese salad) to my seafood dish. I highly recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors."

"Local cafe in Clermont. The inside is small and dated and the staff was short and almost condescending towards me when I asked whether I should order at the counter or sit down. Maybe she was having a bad day? I sat outside because the inside wasn’t appealing much at all. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast burrito. The coffee I do not recommend. It’s a typical cheap restaurant drip, which isn’t my fav, but it was average. The burrito tasted great, but nothing special.I’d recommend this place to people if they wanted something decent and with some nostalgia attached to it. It’s in the downtown area, which is cute and hip."

"There are so many options, and the food is very flavorful. However, I have to update my review: the staff was incredibly rude and made my family feel unwelcome. They stared at us throughout our meal and served our food and appetizers all at once, despite our request to have them brought separately. They had an entire hour left until closing but rushed us as if they were about to shut down in ten minutes. It's disappointing to see such a decline in their hospitality. "I decided to order the mistletoe margarita, which I would not recommend. For dinner, my mom chose the grouper à la carte with yucca fries and broccolini, while I had the herbed chicken accompanied by goat cheese polenta. Although my meal was a bit lukewarm, it was quite tasty; the polenta was well-seasoned, and the chicken, while slightly dry, also had good flavor. I really appreciate well-seasoned dishes. The yucca fries were seasoned nicely, albeit a bit salty, but still enjoyable. My mom's grouper dish looked fairly plain, but the chimichurri sauce added a nice kick of flavor. Unfortunately, our waitress didn't check in about dessert, which was disappointing since it was my mom's birthday. Despite the service issues, I'm eager to return to try the wings, but not necessarily for the service experience."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants of all time—and as a foodie, that’s saying a lot. First, the staff is phenomenal. I don’t know all their names, but they have all been incredible every time I’ve visited. Walt is fantastic at hosting fun games too! The food is OUTSTANDING. Every single time. I’ve been numerous times now, and it never disappoints. This is the place I bring all friends and family to when they visit the area. I cannot recommend this place enough! My favorite foods are the sausage roll, the fish chips (make sure you’re hungry! , and the stuffed mushrooms!! Yum!! This place is reliable and consistent and I will always support this establishment!! Parking: You can park street side or in a lot. I’ve never had issues finding close parking! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! Great options and atmosphere for the kiddos!"

"The staff here is excellent! My only complaint is receiving burnt eggs, which happens quite often when I order an omelet. Everything else is always delicious. The eggs are the only reason I'm giving this place four stars. Since it's a breakfast-focused restaurant, I would expect the eggs to be cooked properly. Burnt eggs just don't taste good."

"I have been eating here for 10 years. I have always gotten the Pink Lady Roll with a various assortment of many of their other specialties, and I am literally never anything but on cloud nine after my meal. Their crispy calamari is wonderful, and they have tasty hibachi selections as well. If youre looking for something delicious and also a little different, give the sushi pizza a try! We love it! 10/10 always, and the manager always remembers me and my husband, and our favorite orders. This place is just the best with really great people/staff. Please eat here and support a wonderful local business! You wont be disappointed!"

"I ventured out of state and was hoping to find the authentic pizza flavor that I’ve come to love, and while the pizza was great, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. There was just the right amount of sauce, and the crust had a nice, smoky flavor. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. I had my puppies with me, so my mom used my card to place the order. The staff not only brought us the food but also let me know when she went to the restroom. They were all very friendly to my pups as well. We will definitely be returning!"

"Terrible customer service. I called to place a takeout order 45 minutes before closing time (8pm), meanwhile, asking first if it would be okay to do so and the lady over the phone agreed. I proceeded with my one topping pizza order and was told it would beready for pickup in 15 20 mins after giving them my name and number. I arrived at the location only to learn that my ordersomehow didn 't exist. I showed them my phone 's call log and even called them while there to prove I did call the correctlocation they didn 't care. It was 7:40pm and they claimed they were closed (20 mins earlier than advertised) and that theywouldn 't be able to make me my pizza. What a waste of time! Never returning to this establishment again."

"This was my first time coming to Oakwood smokehouse. I just happened to see it passing by while working. I came in for lunch, got the half rack of ribs with chicken combo special with fries and baked beans. the food is absolutely delicious through and through. Nicole greeted ne as soon as I walked in the door and Emily took my order. everything was phenomenal, service, food, attitudes, drinks. and it just so happens they have an amazing view outside the front of the restaurant. I sat outside on their outside patio area and Joanie one of the waitresses came out and asked me how everything was going and said if I needed anything just let her know. A must visit for any BBQ lovers ."

"I have known Gustavo and his wife for almost a year. They call me to service his equipment. These are amazingly positive and energetic people. Gustavo is always cheerful, but he becomes serious when he has a lot of orders; in order to serve customers efficiently and quickly, he needs to concentrate a little. His coffee is excellent, the most delicious I have ever tasted, I can’t refuse it when Gustavo treats me. His kitchen is quite clean, so you can be sure that the dishes prepared here will be safe and fresh! I think that this is much better than the notorious McDonald's and KFS, you will spend much less than you get in this establishment! Thank you Gustavo!"

"Stopped in for dinner and drinks with the wife and kids to kick off a short tour of historic downtown Clermont. Beer was excellent, some of the best I’ve had. We had their West Coast IPA, NE Hazy, American Lager and the seasonal Cream Ale. Happy hour from 3p-6p allowed us to drink for $3 per glass, could be the cheapest beer I’ve had outside of my home excluding perhaps a PBR special here and there. They also have wine and seltzers. Food was solid as well, we shared pilled pork nachos and two pizzas (pepperoni and the Diablo). The portion of nachos was generous and the pizzas were on the smaller side at 12” but priced accordingly and out family of 5 big eaters left satisfied. Atmosphere was great, newer building, nice outdoor area in which we sat, bathrooms were high end and clean. Service was superb and employees seemed to really enjoy working there. It’s rare that I can provided my family with such entertainment for under $100 (the bill for this experience came to under $80 including generous gratuity) and even rarer that us adults feel that it was worth our time but this place checked both those boxes."

"The mofongo was the best I've ever tasted. I was pleasantly surprised by the crispy bits of fried pork mixed in. It was perfectly balanced—not too salty and not too dry. The food was amazing, the prices were affordable, and the delivery was quick!"

"Stayed overnight 9-16-23 for sons soccer game and wanted good pizza. looked up some places and decided to come here. We got 6 garlic knots and 16 large pizza. The knots were the size of a baseball. Light crisp on outside and soft in the middle. Marinara sauce was great. Pizza was not oily and also tasted great. Almost didn't go because of the reviews and not sure what some like but glad I gave this place a chance. Definitely will come back again when in town. Very good. "A friend recommended this place to us, and we’re so glad we finally checked it out! It’s a charming little spot in the Clermont area that we somehow overlooked during our three years of living here. There’s no indoor seating; you simply walk up to an outdoor window to place your order. This works perfectly, given that the weather here is lovely year-round. Ice cream does melt quickly, but there are shaded tables, so we didn’t have too much trouble with that. I tried a waffle bowl with two scoops, while my husband opted for a cone with a scoop of strawberry. He really appreciated the cute little cone holder they provided to catch any drips—something we hadn’t seen before but found super handy for the hot summer. The strawberry was definitely fresh, and I loved the chocolate chip flavor. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends with us!"

"We've been there twice—once on opening day (which we didn't realize until we arrived) and again yesterday. The customer service was outstanding, and the food was delicious! I really enjoyed the flavors, and the mini donuts are the perfect size. I also tried a bagel sandwich, which I loved just as much. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. My 4-year-old really enjoys watching her donuts being made right in front of her, and the excitement of waiting for them adds to the fun. We're so glad we found this place, and we will definitely be back!"

"This visit truly surprised us. We have tried Clermont Fish House several times over the years, but it always seemed to disappoint. The last time we went, the batter was greasy and soggy. However, we decided to give it another shot, and this time we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was hot, delicious, and crispy. The only criticism I have is that the portion of curry sauce was too small. Being British, we still long for "proper chips," but the chips served here are far from your typical restaurant fries. They are thick-cut and quite enjoyable in their own way. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner tonight!"

"6/11/2024 Our evening dinner started off with superb authentic green tea in a cast iron tea pot, next was appetizer; the Crispy Calamari which does have a heat factor in the fried sweet potato bedding consisting of fried Thai chili slices and scallion slices. The sweet and spicy dipping sauce was the wow factor. It tasted like a sweet cocktail sauce with heat yet wasn’t a cocktail sauce. Our menu continues into General Tso chicken, it does have a heat factor but not overly powerful if you’re mindful of not eating the cooked chilis in the dish. The General Tso’s chicken was tender, juicy and plentiful on the plate with a cup of white rice and small ‘salad’ for palate cleansing. We added the large chicken fried rice and it was amazing. Flavorful with diced onion, red bell pepper, green onion plus the egg. The chicken fried rice needed no sauce of any kind. Lastly we had the Yaka Soba noodles with chicken. Yaka Soba is one of my favourite noodles next to Udon and I have to say out of all the places I’ve eaten away from Okinawa or Japan. Akina has got the noodles down like they’re from Japan. I was full after a few bites and leftovers never looked so good. The staff, was personable and Skylar was spot on, friendly in every way. You could tell she enjoys her job. We didn’t lack for anything. I would give more stars if I could but definitely 5/5"

"I hate to post this review but I have been going to this firehouse location in Clermont Florida weekly for years and the last few weeks the quality has really dropped. The bread is totally soggy because they are not taking the time to drain off the water from the meat, they are putting almost not lettuce on the sandwich, and they have missed the pickle the last couple times. I know this sounds like simple stuff but it’s a drop in service and quality that is noticeable. My wife only ate half her sub tonight because it was not that great. My wife used to eat firehouse 3 plus days a week when she was working. In Clermont there are some other great options for good subs these days. I think we will be going a different direction in the weeks to come. I hope they read this and get back to the firehouse this used to be I really do because firehouse makes a great sub."
