"This is our family’s favorite Thai food restaurant. The food is always good. A lot of their business is take-out, so it’s never hard to get a table. The atmosphere is super chill with not-too-loud ambient music. They have happy hour daily, and once or twice a week they have a live music set in the evening. Their lunch specials are a great value. Servers are always super polite. And since it’s upstairs with lots of windows, you have a great view of the neighborhood. It’s really a gem.Vegetarian options: Almost any dish can come without meat so it’s super easy to have vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: We always bring our kiddo and the restaurant is really chill so it’s not hard to have a kid there.Parking: The lot in front is pretty tight usually but the lot in back is always available. We’ve never had trouble with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to reach the second floor."

"I honestly really love this place; however, this recent experience, which has happened before, makes me not want to go back. i used to rave about this place, but I think I’ll stop pushing for going here. I do NOT appreciate that our server increased our party size to 6 people, even though we were only 5 people. As a result, an automatic tip was applied for our large party size without letting us know. They did not let us know we would be charged an automatic 20% tip. (This has happened to us before; therefore, we should have been prepared... As tippers, we applied an additional tip (on top of the automatic 20% tip without realizing we had already been charged, which felt terrible because we overpaid by a huge margin as a result. Things that would have been appreciated: (1 do not inflate our party size, (2 mark additional tip as optional or (3 let us know we have already been charged for tip."

"I stumbled upon this gem in West LA and was pleasantly surprised. The menu features classic Peruvian dishes that you would typically find in the U.S. I tried the Lomo Saltado, which was one of the best I've had, while the Ceviche was unfortunately forgotten, so I didn’t get to taste it. Dishes are priced around $20 on average. The grilled Spanish octopus was beautifully presented, but I wouldn’t order it again. The Swai tiradito pieces were notably small, though again, the presentation was lovely. Personally, I'm not a fan of Swai and believe they should consider switching back to Kampachi. The lobster causa, however, was excellent. As for the service, the restaurant gets very crowded at dinner time, and I felt my table didn't receive the attention it deserved. Some of our orders were overlooked, and I found myself repeatedly having to catch the waitress's attention whenever I needed something. I don’t fault her, as she was clearly working hard, darting between tables and rushing in and out of the kitchen. My suggestion for management is to bring in additional staff to assist her. My group would have happily ordered more dishes, but we waited about 20 minutes for a check-in, and some of my party ended up leaving still hungry due to the time constraints."

"I visited Grand Casino with some friends on a whim, drawn in by their spacious outdoor seating area, and it turned out to be a lovely surprise! We had initially planned on just having a beer, but the happy hour food specials sounded too tempting to resist. We ordered sweet potato fries, a cheese and meat platter, and an empanada. Everything was delicious and offered at excellent prices during happy hour, but honestly, their regular menu doesn't seem too pricey either. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, managing to keep up with the crowd as it got busier. Whether it's during happy hour or not, this place seems like a fantastic spot for enjoying Argentinian cuisine. I’m already looking forward to returning to try some goodies from the bakery next time!"

"I went there with a friend and she is gluten-free, so she ordered the truffle risotto, which was amazing and I ordered the lasagne that was a little underwhelming, but still good. would not get the truffle ries again $17,) as it was an Italian restaurant and hoped it would taste more truffle. we also ordered a glass of wine. I ordered the malbec and she first ordered a pinot noir, which the waitress had very suggested and then sent him back because it did not taste like wee. the prizes were a bit high for what we have. the decor is interesting and location was close to the autobahn entrance, so it was a little loud. overall it was pleasant and I would go for it again if not only for the truffle."

"A nice mom and pop taqueria with delicious food.One of my favorites. Happy to see that this place is still thriving. Good tacos, burritos, tortas, and more.The burritos are big, and loaded. Lots of choices for meats. I prefer the carne asada and carnitas.The carnitas torta is tasty and filling. Crispy chicken tacos and crispy potato tacos hit the spot too.The salsa bar is the move. I like all of the salsas, especially the spicy red salsa and the smokey arbol salsa.The parking lot is a little challenging to get in and out of, so be patient."

"Yum yum yum!!!! I came here since I'd seen Pasta Sisters on Worth It (as I assume many do), and I'd like to say that it lives up to the hype! I ordered their special, which was a tomato based sauce with pancetta, and I got it with pappardelle. When I ordered it, the lady did warn me that it would be a bit salty, but I trusted that the thick pasta would balance it out, and I was right! The pappardelle was cooked to the perfect texture- it tasted so fresh and al dente, not too firm and not too mushy. Usually I get tired of a pasta dish halfway through because the taste gets old, but I enthusiastically finished my whole portion! It was just the right amount, I felt full for sure but not so full that I felt icky. I'd also been snacking throughout the whole day LOL so I surprised myself in being able to finish it actually, but it was just so delicious. While the bits of pancetta weren't super substantial, you can taste its richness from being cooked in the sauce, and the fattiness is cut well by the tomato's tang. I also tried a bite of my boyfriend's pasta- he got a cream sauce smoked salmon pasta, and the salmon pieces were quite good, but the flavors less punchy than my pancetta pasta. I also enjoyed the free bread and olive oil/vinegar they gave! We came on a Saturday evening during Memorial Day weekend and it actually wasn't crowded at all! We were able to place our order at the counter within 5 minutes (just the right amount of time to gaze indecisively at the menu LOL) and were seated right away. The outdoor seating is really comfortable- you choose your own table/are gently guided by some of the waitstaff, and the ambience is great. I'd never been to Culver City, and the neighborhood felt so cozy and artsy! Waiters/service were super friendly and helpful, though some things are kinda self serve which is nice and casual too."

"This restaurant has a classic vibe, reminiscent of the early 2000s. I enjoyed the burrata caprese and osso bucco during my first visit in eight years, and the food was just as great as I remembered. Even though a whole new wave of restaurants has come and gone in downtown Culver City since Brunello's prime, they continue to excel at what they've always done best. Their longevity can be attributed to their consistent food quality and friendly, family-oriented service. I look forward to seeing you around for many more years to come!"

"The food tasted great, but the service was very slow. It took us about 35 minutes for us to get our food for two people. It was 8PM on Friday night so it was quite busy, but I was surprised how long it actually took. Tonight we did take out as well. They have a ton of great options on the menu and I really wanted to try the Branzino today. However, it was sold out. You place your order at the counter and then they call your name or text you when your order is ready. I opted to use the electronic kiosk to order, even though everyone else in line, for some reason, stood there longer to wait to order from an employee. I suggest using the kiosk because it’s literally the same screen that the employee uses to place your order. There is a ton of parking available because it is attached to a shopping center where Trader Joe’s and a bunch of other businesses are located.I chose the Shrimp Ceviche to start and it was actually really great. It came with a lot of shrimp and the flavors were great. For my entrée I chose the Catfish and I really enjoyed it. I wish it was cooked a little bit more so it was a bit crispier, but still the seasoning was great and I ate all of it. I also got a few à la carte tacos, one Battered Fish, and one Spicy Shrimp. They were pretty small tacos, so I don’t think I would order them again.Overall a good place to grab some fish or other types of seafood in a to-go type of setting. It took a while to get the food, but we were happy we chose CFG once we got a chance to try the food."

"Small and very friendly place. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. I had the lamb souvlaki and my son had the combination plate. The lamb was cooked perfect, well seasoned and tender. The chicken on the combo plate was especially tasty. I highly recommend this place for small group dine in or take out. Very good experience. It was a special treat for us because we don’t have a Greek food restaurant where we live."

"I have never tried the food at this restaurant, but I love coming here for a night of karaoke, loud singing, and drinking. During the day, it usually functions as a sports bar. When I first started visiting, it was mostly frequented by people of Palm color, but I have noticed an increase in diversity which I appreciate. The security staff is very relaxed and sometimes it can take a while to get a drink at the bar due to only having two bartenders. However, a little patience goes a long way. I appreciate the ample parking and the lack of a cover charge. The atmosphere, especially near the fireplace, is top-notch with plenty of seating available."

"I used to live in the Bay Area, where Indian-Pakistani food is abundant. After moving to LA, it took me years to discover amazing Punjabi cuisine. The chana masala is absolutely incredible, and their Sikh kebabs are out of this world. The owners are genuinely nice people who remember me every time I visit; they even include tamarind and green chutney with my kebabs when they see my name. You should definitely order from them as soon as possible, but even better, I recommend visiting in person to enjoy a meal there with them."

"I've always had great sandwiches at Capriotti's, but my experience at the Sepulveda location was disappointing. This was my first and only visit to this particular spot. I ordered The Bobbie, a favorite of mine at other locations, but my experience was far from amazing. While eating the sandwich at home, I encountered sharp bone fragments from the turkey, which was very unpleasant. Additionally, there was a large, chewy piece of fatty skin that was difficult to deal with and made me gag while trying to remove it from my mouth. It was clear that whoever prepared the turkey did a poor job. Customers deserve better—no one wants bones or large pieces of fat in their sandwiches! People just want the turkey meat. Sepulveda team, please improve your sandwich-making skills!"

"I recently discovered this seafood restaurant in Culver City, and it immediately became one of my favorites. The food here is amazing in both taste and quality. I've had the chance to try their whole fish of the day (fried) and fish and chips on different occasions, and both plates were incredible. The fish tastes fresh and is especially flaky. Their edamame salad is also extremely tasty and is a must-get everytime I go. There is ample outdoor seating during lunch on the weekends, and their service is incredibly friendly. They're a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of food and great service is definitely worth it."

"This restaurant is not good at all. An authentic Frankie should be thin, long, crispy, and flavorful. Unfortunately, the food they serve does not meet these standards. They have a menu item called Papdi Chat, but when you see it, you can't help but laugh. They try to make it look like nachos, but the taste just doesn't work. We tried the Windshield Frankie, Chana Masala Frankie, Windshield Wiper Chaat, and Shahi Windshield Wiper Bowl, but none of them were good. Everything was average at best, and this is coming from an Indian who has lived here for 20 years."

"Owned by chef Jordan Kahn of the 2 Michelin star restaurant across the street Vespertine, Destroyer focuses on breakfast and lunch specializing in Scandinavian food with a California twist. It’s located in Culver City but in an industrial park. Parking is extremely easy and plentiful in the area. The menu has a lot of options but many of the dishes sell out because they really use very high-quality ingredients in limited quantities. You can tell the dishes are made with a lot of culinary experience and it really showed in the flavor profiles as well. Also love the plates and bowls! They are very thick and heavy with beautiful colors. I will say that it is a bit expensive, we spent $92 for three food items and two cappuccinos. However, the quality of food is very unique and it truly is a delicious meal. Inside is quite small you basically order at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to you in one of the seats outside. From what I saw there are no inside tables. The staff was very polite however you won’t have a waitress or waiter. It will just be a food runner so I didn’t really get to experience true service. For our meal I wanted to order the Beef Tartare, but it was not available. So instead, I chose the Loaded Avocado Confit, Chicken Schnitzel, and the Strawberry French Toast. Our favorite of these was the Avocado Confit because it truly had a delicious avocado flavor and was very unique. The prosciutto really added a great flavor profile to the dish and I honestly loved every bite. The Chicken Schnitzel was also really delicious and I especially liked the heirloom cucumbers because that was a new take for me. The French Toast is also very good however, the bread was very thick so it made it a bit challenging to eat, but still it had a really really nice strawberry flavor. Overall, I would recommend to anyone searching for a unique breakfast or lunch option. Given its price, I would not suggest it for a frequent stop, but honestly I’m really happy that we tried it and I plan to be back in the future to try that Beef Tartare. "I was really disappointed with the quality of my order today. It seems to have declined. Both the Jasmine Green Milk Tea and Oolong Milk Tea were quite watery, and I could hardly taste the tea flavor. Additionally, the boba was a bit too firm. I expected much more from Boba Guys, especially since I've had better experiences at this same location in the past. Given the price and the lackluster flavor today, I don't think I'll be ordering again. I'll be going back to Sunright instead."

"Wow, this is the best pizza I’ve ever had from Roberta’s. I tried the Margherita with extra basil and the Soppressata – it was perfect! Absolutely delicious. The side order of olives was also worth every penny; they offered a high-quality variety and a generous serving. Pro tip: try adding one to your pizza slice! I really hope this marks a return to the old Roberta’s that we discovered years ago. We also recognize the challenges that Covid has posed for the restaurant industry. But tonight? Simply incredible."

"New kid on the block, but definitely know what their doing! I used to go to another place near by, but since I tried uppercrust, I haven't gone back. There is nothing like a slice of good pie that will hold up when picked up. No drooping tip on this one. Nice melted cheese and good amount of pepperoni as well. I'll keep getting that pie everytime in downtown Culver. See you again soon pizza people! Keep up the standards."
