"I honestly really love this place; however, this recent experience, which has happened before, makes me not want to go back. i used to rave about this place, but I think I’ll stop pushing for going here. I do NOT appreciate that our server increased our party size to 6 people, even though we were only 5 people. As a result, an automatic tip was applied for our large party size without letting us know. They did not let us know we would be charged an automatic 20% tip. (This has happened to us before; therefore, we should have been prepared... As tippers, we applied an additional tip (on top of the automatic 20% tip without realizing we had already been charged, which felt terrible because we overpaid by a huge margin as a result. Things that would have been appreciated: (1 do not inflate our party size, (2 mark additional tip as optional or (3 let us know we have already been charged for tip."

The food was good, as always at Sage. Though our server was pleasant, he forgot to put in one of our orders and we had to ask him to clear some plates that we pushed to the side. He had come by three times and neglected to clear them till we asked.
