"The sushi chef displays remarkable creativity in the presentation of the sashimi and rolls. The fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive, ensuring a wonderful dining experience. We sat at the sushi bar right in front of the chef, and while there are only a few seats, we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. Ethan, the chef, is personable and loves engaging in conversation. Additionally, you get to watch as he crafts unique dishes for other customers. I highly recommend this place! I've attached some pictures that showcase the beautifully presented, fresh dishes."

"I am extremely dissatisfied with this restaurant. I ordered fried mushrooms, and when they arrived, the breading wasn't adhering properly, and the mushrooms were slightly burnt. Having worked in restaurants for 16 years, I should have recognized that something was off. After eating just two or three mushrooms, I became violently ill and started projectile vomiting in the bathroom about 30 minutes later. I couldn't stop for a full 24 hours. I ended up in the hospital, where I received two bags of IV fluids due to severe dehydration. I'm prepared to bring in my hospital bills as proof of my experience!"

"For years, we've been told how this is the best Italian food in York, so we decided to give it a try. The first thing to notice is that the seating area is very small with a lot of tables. The lighting and overall atmosphere is not what you expect from a high-end Italian restaurant. No romantic date nights here, but we got the small table in the corner by the kitchen, and that's the closest you will get. It's BYOB, so we brought a nice bottle of wine, and once they saw it, they brought us glasses and a corkscrew. The fact that it's BYO does save a lot compared to buying by the glass. We started with the spicy fried green beans, which were very good. The marinara sauce was a very simple standard american-italian marinara sauce. Which I believe would be good over a classic chicken parm or spaghetti and meatballs. For entrees, we got the Scallops Diablo and the Spicy Sausage with Broccoli. The portions are massive, which is great when the food is good. For the Scallops Diablo, despite the scallops most likely being frozen, they were cooked well, and I was able to cut them with a fork. The sauce was very good. Whatever spices they added to it made it much better and more flavorful than the one with the beans. I changed the pasta to penne, which picked up the sauce nicely. I added a side of meatballs, which were very good and would be fantastic in a meatball sub. The sausage and broccoli however was not very good. The sauce was too thin and watery. It was overkill with the amount of red peppers that overpowered the dish. Do not recommend the wine sauce here. While being the best Italian restaurant in the York area is not a high bar, I think this one makes it there. If you want a romantic, authentic Italian meal, you still need to go to Lancaster, Harrisburg, or Little Italy in Baltimore. If you want a good local homestyle, American-Italian, I believe this fits the bill."

"They cook and serve free Thanksgiving dinner. They also make a very good cheese steak. Pretty cool grandmother eclectic mix of things hanging on the walls. The three people behind the counter seemed very good to come along, and they curled a lot of food at 10:30 on a Saturday morning in Dover in January. The other half of this Cheesesteak was hard to give away, but the person I gave him was very excited to have it so that my pain relieves a little. Great overall experience. Yes, they have some well earned ‘Great People’ points."

"Harvey?s will never let you down! From an amazing breakfast to incredible bakery items, everything I?ve gotten from here has been fantastic. "I was here several years ago with some friends and family and have wanted to return with my husband. Well finally the opportunity came about last night for our anniversary. They did not disappoint! The cocktail menu provides you more than just the standard beer and wine menu. The cocktails are different and unique. It has whiskey options similar to the cigar bar nearby without the smell. "A Mixed Bag at This Hole-in-the-Wall BBQ Joint I love discovering hole-in-the-wall BBQ joints, and this one had promise, but my experience left me with mixed feelings. I also enjoyed the ribs. Tender and tasty. Unfortunately, the brisket didn’t hit the same high notes. It was somewhat tender, but lacked the smoky depth and flavor punch I was hoping for. In a BBQ spot, that’s kind of a letdown. Now for the pricing: I wasn’t thrilled about being charged $1.25 for an extra (tiny! portion of BBQ sauce. The portions felt stingy for the price, and at nearly $30, the sampler platter was a tough sell. While the platter gave me a chance to try a bit of everything, it just didn’t deliver enough value for the cost. The place itself had the classic hole-in-the-wall charm: mismatched chairs, paper towel rolls on the table, and the faint aroma of smoked meat in the air. I recently updated my review on another restaurant in Flanders and found that they were disappointed with my disappointed review. So I decided to update my review of the Quiet Man in Dover. I realize that I have been coming here since the mid 80's and I have never had a bad meal, never been dissatisfied with the service and always been treated and cared for like I was family. Nothing has changed in all these 37 years everything is excellent. The quiet man sets the bar for all other restaurants and wannabe Irish Pubs in the area. Today's special and Guinness cake are prime examples of the quality of their entrees. 5 plus"

"Fantastic! first off the service was amazing, our server’s name was Angela, she was literally a 10 out of 10. The rest of the staff was equally awesome, very on top of taking away plates, refilling waters, drinks,etc. As for the food, you name it, everyone was over the moon for their meals. We shared a couple pizzas and calamari between the 4 of us. Calamari was up there with the best I’ve ever had and the pizzas were everything you’d want in a bar pie, really good. Onto the main course, again, everything was perfect. I had the chicken Catalina, really good. Would highly recommend and I can’t wait to return!"

"We have visited Restaurant 55 many many times over the years and have never once been disappointed! The burgers are incredible! The meat is very fresh and flavorful. The buns are so soft and tasty. We also love the fish and chips! The fried pickles andsweet potato fries are great starters and the variety of cupcake flavors they have are the perfect dessert. You really can't gowrong with much of anything on the menu. The atmosphere is more pub style and can be noiser, but not to the point where normalconversation is disturbed. They have a lively bar crowd due to their extensive beer and cocktail menu. The staff have alwaysbeen incredibly friendly and attentive. They can be crowded during busy times so you may have a wait, but it's worth it. But,on the other hand, the parking lot can be deceiving as to what the crowd is like. There are several other businesses in theshopping center that share the same fairly small lot so even if the spots are full right in front of the restaurant, thatdoesn't necessarily mean a long wait. It's definitely a must stop if you like beer and burgers!"

"My favorite Cafe to get my drinks at! My fiance always orders the matcha frappe and I usually get an iced dirty chai with lavender syrup. I also will get iced americanos. The espresso they serve is never bitter and is always incredibly smooth. I used to be a barista and I know getting espresso pulled perfectly can be difficult, but they nail it every time. I've never had a drink I disliked here. Also, their bagel sandwiches are divine. They are packed full of ingredientsand super filling. I'm so lucky to live within walking distance here. The baristas are all amazing as well! They're incredibly welcoming and helpful."
