"The authentic dishes we tried were far superior to the eggplant in garlic sauce, which was overly sweet and lacked a strong garlic flavor. The three-cup chicken, Taiwanese fried chicken, fish fillet in spicy sauce, and beef rice bowl were all outstanding. As I noted earlier, the eggplant was served in a sweet sauce instead of the garlicky one we expected. While the rice cakes had a pleasant flavor, the shrimp were small and not very noteworthy. Next time, we’ll likely choose a different protein to pair with the rice cakes and vegetables. Overall, we left feeling full and satisfied."

"SushiO is my absolute favorite place to eat. I promise you that you won’t find better sushi anywhere else. Trust me, I’ve tried all the sushi in the county. This is the spot you want to go to. I’ve been here enough times to eat almost every signature roll, and they never disappoint me. All fantastic. On top of the sushi, I usually order a nice appetizer — either miso soup, calamari, the hot pocket or the kenji salad. Everything is always incredibly fresh, even in the night time. The service is always A , we always feel so welcome. And the atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable! Again, my favorite spot, especially for dates :"

"I ordered a cake for a bachelorette party from this place, and it was absolutely delicious. The ordering process was hassle-free, and they were very responsive through both email and phone. "Definitely one of the best Cuban restaurants I?ve visited and dined in! The atmosphere is incredible, the music and live music are great. The staff are all so friendly and very attentive. The food is delicious! My wife and I have made this location our go to date night every month!! Everything is served hot and fresh! People may say it?s a little expensive but for magnitude of service, atmosphere and delicious food, it?s all worth it. Beats going to a chain restaurant for a steak and baked potato!"

"Ordered their last slice of buffalo and two grandma slices. They had pizza laying out on their display table, when I asked them if they had any more fresh pies coming out, a white boy with glasses who keeps joking around in the back and throws cheese tothe fresh made pizzas WITHOUT GLOVES, told me there were no pies coming out anytime soon. Two minutes later after I order myslices, he pulls out about 4 different types of pies. Very unsanitary. Jokesters working the front. Terrible customer service"

"For starters, we tried the Chicken Katsu Bao, which was delicious. It came with mayonnaise and hoisin sauce, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. We also ordered a Chicken Ramen and a Chicken Katsu Ramen. I opted for the spicy Chicken Ramen with thick noodles and chicken broth instead of pork. Unfortunately, the chicken was a bit dry, and the dish didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped. However, adding some hoisin sauce really improved it. My friend ordered the Chicken Katsu Ramen as it came, and they said it was wonderful. We also shared the pork belly over rice, which was beautifully plated and offered a generous portion. It was generously drizzled with hoisin sauce. For drinks, we had bubble teas with lychee topping, but they were nothing special—just average in flavor. As for the service, it was decent—neither exceptional nor terrible. The restaurant was empty, but I had difficulty getting the attention of the server. Overall, I would consider returning, although I wouldn't go out of my way to do so."

"I also tried the Mutton Thali, which comes with a choice of chapati or bhakri, accompanied by goat curry and goat kheema. I added some vade to perfectly complete my meal. The Surmai Thali featured three pieces of fried Surmai along with Surmai curry, served with rice and chapati. I was pleasantly surprised by how the restaurant maintains both quality and portion sizes, especially in an age when many eateries tend to cut corners. For dessert, they offer Kharvas, a traditional milk pudding from Maharashtra, alongside Puran Poli that is simply irresistible. "Had a very bad experience while trying the Boom Boom Chicken in Edison, near the H Market.They have two ways to take orders, Kiosk or through a person. There is a big sign indicating to go to the kiosk. So, we placed our order for a special. Popcorn chicken Fries. We sat down, waited about 30 minutes.. 45 minutes.. nothing. My husband went up and asked, where our food has been, the worker checked the bags of online orders, for our food, then quickly put our food onto paper plates.First off, they got my husbands order right. Chicken thighs, fries. However, I ordered the popcorn chicken and fries. We both ordered mild spice.I didn’t say anything at first, but my husband noticed I was eating, he then realized what had happened and went up to the counter. The lady working, gave me the most EVIL look when I had glanced up at her. I felt horrible for no reason. I was mistakenly given thighs instead of popcorn chicken, I didn’t cause a scene, I didn’t complain; all my husband did was ask for the popcorn chicken.The lady then expressed that it was my husband’s fault for ordering on the kiosk, because they don’t ’Read The Notes’ that you have the option of leaving on the kiosk. I was in shambles.As I had mentioned earlier, we chose Mild seasoning.Guys, when I received the popcorn chicken, it was smothered, dripping, and sloppy with red, hot spicy sauce. Keep in mind, I know this is Korean Chicken, but when a customer asks for mild and you give them THAT. It’s crazy.They must’ve had a bad day, or thought that I was trying to be a bad customer, but truly, this place was a bad experience for me.I felt singled out, I felt like prey being stalked in the wild, I felt bad.I truly hope no one else has to experience anything remotely close to what I endured here with my husband.Love to all,Hailey"

"Its a very pricy and overrated Indian restaurant with average taste (especially for vegetarian options . Salt was less in all the 4 dishes we ordered Hara bara kabab, Cauliflower 65, Methi chaman veg gravy (24$ and biryani. Even the chutney/onion thatwe ask for the starters has to be purchased. I heard from the people that the ambience was fabulous but I felt it was OK! Thereare many other indian restaurants with better ambience in NJ. The only attraction of this restuarant was the Robos, that bringsthe food to our table. Btw, I am the big fan of Deccan spice at Jersey city, ignoring the ambience."

"The positives: The Grandma pizza is thin, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Chicken Parmesan pan pizza is rich and satisfying, with perfectly breaded chicken and a great balance of ingredients. The negatives: The BBQ chicken pizza is a soggy disaster. The chicken is not breaded, and instead of being drizzled on top, the BBQ sauce gets mixed into the cheese, making it watery. I wonder if the excessive amount of onions might be contributing to the sogginess. I’m so let down that I can't see myself ordering from there again anytime soon. Service: Delivery."

"This is one of my favorite places to eat. During my last visit I wanted a Ruben sandwich but I didn't see it on the menu. My server pointed out an item in the sandwich section called City Lights. The meat was pastrami but I wanted corned beef. No problem at the Skylark! They will make what you want even if it's not on the menu. My Ruben was delicious served with tasty fries. That's why I keep returning. My server was great, fast service and helping me find what I wanted."

The vada pav was hands down the tastiest I have ever had in all the NJ restaurants I have eaten in. "I was excited to visit this restaurant. I saw it on Tik Tok a few times. It was a let down for our date night. We were seated in an enclosed “porch like” room with woven seats that made you sink down to low for the table. The food was bland. I am Latina and when you say something has sofrito, I will expect a ton of flavor. The appetizer was greasy. There was oil pooling at the bottom of the food. The pork was bland. The rice was undercooked and bland. The black beans were watery and bland. This isn’t real Cuban food. No soul. No flavor."

"My friend Anthony recommended that I check out Oakwood, and I'm so glad he did. The restaurant has a charming, old-school pizzeria atmosphere, featuring cozy booths and a wooden countertop. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was prompt. I opted for a plain slice and a slice with peppers and onions. The plain pizza had a perfectly thin and crispy crust, topped with excellent cheese and a delicious sauce. The crust itself was a great blend of crunchy, bready, and flavorful. The peppers and onions slice was a classic done right, showcasing fresh, tasty vegetables and a sturdy base that was easy to fold. Oakwood serves up some fantastic pizza, and I look forward to returning to try their vegan options!"

"Today is my birthday and I ordered take out from the website. When I Walked in to pick up my order, the girl at the front desk, pass me my bag and told me that all of my order is in there and that she double checked it. So I trusted her and I walked out. I then went to a table outside and check the bag and noticed that my dessert was missing. So I walked back in and I told her that my banana flan wasn’t in the bag. She started going through my food in the bag and pulled out a small plastic container that had some kind of orange dipping sauce for the fried avocado. She told me that that was my flan. I told her that wasn’t flan and she said yes, that she “thinks” that’s my dessert. So she went over to who I believe was a manager that was sitting down, speaking to another person and then took my bag with my order and went to the back. She came back with a small tin that had my banana flan inside of it. I then asked her where the rest of the dessert was. And she looked at me confused. So I told her that online it says that the banana flan two sweet bananas. She looked at me again, very confused, and then told me that they only give the two bananas, or shall I say, they only give the entire desserts and the contents of it if I’m actually sitting down dining in the restaurant. I asked her if she was sure, and she said yes. So then I told her that maybe they should specify that on their website because, I did just pay nine dollars for a tiny flan. All she could say was sorry, and then I walked out. I left disappointed because my kids wanted me to get a dessert so they can sing me happy birthday. I just don’t understand why they would specify the contents of a certain dessert on line, and then not give you the entire thing when you order it to go. I thought they would put this flan with the two bananas in a plastic container like almost every other restaurant does. The rest of the food was ok. I attached a picture of the Banana Flan as it was given to me. $9 for this and nothing else. : I really wanted to love this place but I am not happy with the experience there."

"The pav bhaji was just passable and didn’t taste freshly made. The real letdowns were the aloo paratha, which was too dry and tasted like it had been frozen—definitely not prepared by someone with skill. The vanilla milkshakes were overly milky and lacked the thickness that a proper shake should have. Given the prices, this was quite disappointing. To add to this, the Bombay sandwich was a joke. If you want to experience an authentic one, I highly recommend making the trip to Little Sicily 2 outside of Philadelphia—it’s well worth the drive, but make sure to skip a couple of meals beforehand! As for service, it was counter service with little to no attention beyond that. Even the staff taking orders seemed overwhelmed and rather unenthusiastic. Vegetarian options: This is a fully vegetarian restaurant with a wide range of choices."

"I have not been back to moghuls since pre-pandemic. The food is outstanding as usual. The waiters and staff wear masks. They did not take our temp as was mentioned on their website. That’s ok myself and my companion are both vaccinated. One disappointment and it’s understandable was the excellent buffet is gone. That was a great way for anyone unfamiliar with Indian food to taste a lot of the fine cuisine. I hope it makes a comeback soon. The grand buffet down the road is open so I don’t think it’s a mandate from the state. Lunch cost us There are no lunch specials unfortunately so as much as I love this establishment I probably won’t be going much in the near future till they bring back the buffet. Please bring it back. Safely. There’s ways to do that."

"I thought that this would be another brick oven pizza and pasta joint but the outside patio is always decorated nicely that I have always wanted to try it. I was absolutely beyond surprised! The restaurant is not tiny but not huge and beautiful decorated inside and out. Really felt transported to Italy. Service great. BUT IT'S THE FOOD that has me singing! I am absolutely impressed!!!!! I went for lunch but the portions were HUGE appetizers could be a meal! Prices not too expensive but the the taste alone I would pay more. Two people, two appetizers, two meals and sodas under $56! Most notably was that the food did not taste salty or restaurant y. It tasted homemade, FRESH and each particular ingredient shined through on it's own! I think this is my new favorite restaurant and quite honestly, one of the best meals I have ever had! PS it's BYOB."
