"I can’t believe I haven’t been here before! I think the name gave me the impression they only served wine and had a limited menu. However, they offer a wide variety of appetizer and entree choices along with a full service bar. The wine flights were very reasonably priced $16 for three generous glasses! . I was with friends and we only had appetizers. The beef skewers were amazing as were the flatbreads! I plan to return soon with my husband to try the entrees. Highly recommended!"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"Even on a busy Sunday morning, staff here was very patient and friendly that helped this first time customer. Strong coffee with lots of breakfast options and food comes out fast. Got Skillet with Chicken and side of pancakes. Skillet was a perfect blend offlavor right amount of meat, and perfectly made eggs. One request I will make next time is to limit tomatoes as it was a bit toooverpowering. Pancakes were not as fluffy but still tasted great as a side. Definitely will return and try other items!"

"One of the best ... if not THE best restaurants I've ever been too. I've lived in L.A., San Francisco, Chicago and several other cities ... I'd put Lucci up against anything nice been to, anywhere I've been/lived. The food is second to none. Only thing better than the food is the service. From the bartenders and waiters/waitresses to the owner ... the best! Bobby the owner is amazing... saw him actually giving a recipe to a patron from out of town. Not many places or people willing to do that."

"we have arrived early; they do not have my reservation. When they wanted to push two small tables together, I asked for a quiet table in the back they did not give me, even though they gave it to others who came after us. we were stuck on two small tables that were pushed together in the middle of the restaurant, any server that came out of the kitchen bar that was changed by us, and each customer went to the bathroom. service was fast eating is not better or worse than any other Mexican place. the worst part is the noise around 5:45 the place was full, with people waiting in the line. the noise was incredibly loud that I literally couldn't hear that my friend sits next to me without increasing our votes. it was extremely sensory overload plus, the server literally kicked us at 7:00. that was my second visit."

"While visiting family on the north side of Chicago on a hot July day, we were in search of a dining experience outdoors where we could relax in the shade and enjoy a refreshing glass of cold salad wine. We stumbled upon Jibek Jolu and were pleasantly surprised. The spacious outdoor deck was inviting and completely shaded, with stylishly comfortable furniture. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the Eastern European menu offered a refreshing change compared to typical American fare. I ordered the Svezhi (featuring tomatoes, cucumbers, dill, and a light cream dressing) and my wife tried the restaurant's namesake dish, Jibek Jolu. Both dishes were incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this restaurant."

"Patio was great on a nice day, service was OK, the Fernlands sauv blanc from New Zealand is excellent⦠but the medium well burger was awful. It was so overcooked and dark gray throughout. I couldnât eat it. They offered to replace it or get me something else, but I didnât want to risk it so I moved on and left hungry. My wife got the ahi tuna salad which was more gray, not quite pink⦠didnât taste as fresh as she is used toâlike at Yard House Oh well. Maybe an off day?"

"Probably the worse food I have tried in the Chicago area? We tried the calamari and the burger given the good reviews. Both products were of sub-par quality with other places and given the price. The marinara sauce had ?fake? parmigiano in it, thecalamari had onion powder sprinkled on top, the burger was overcooked and frankly flavorless, even the lemon they gave us wasold and had no juice. At one point I was worried I had covid given how bad everything was tasting? The only food that was goodwere the freshly fried fries. I would recommend avoiding this place until they don?t decide to buy fresh and better productsfor their food, without messing the flavors. We had to go to McDonald?s to get a better tasting burger than this place for afraction of the price!!"

"I took my wife out for a date night at this restaurant, and she was initially a bit hesitant since it's located at the Glenview Park District golf club. However, after dinner, she was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the lovely atmosphere on the outdoor porch overlooking the golf course. The food was exceptional—truly top-notch. We shared a salad and an entrée, and the grilled Caesar salad was out of this world, offering fantastic flavors from the grill. You have to try it! The gnocchi dish was also wonderful, and after adding an order of meatballs, we were quite full. I hesitated to order dessert, but who can resist on date night? We indulged in the brownie sundae, which was the perfect finish to a great meal. I highly recommend this place—bravo!"

"This Korean fried chicken movement is concerning to me, mainly from a dietary perspective, because they 're all so damn delicious. I find myself eating this stuff a couple of times per month, but I can 't decide which outfit is my favorite. Choong Man is really good quality chicken, cooked and packaged expertly (staying hot and moist for a long time). They don 't have a sauce/marinade option that I like as much as one of their nearby competitors. However, purely on chicken alone they get top marks. The best option is garlic soy. Garlic spicy IS hot, at least for this gringo. Some local places have sauces with spicy in the name but no heat in the game. Great onion rings and calamari as well but usually I 'm getting just chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Plus pickled radish cubes."

"I visited Valley Lodge yesterday for fried clams with my sister. Unfortunately, they no longer have them on the menu. When we arrived, my sister spoke with the owner and shared that our dad used to take us there when we were kids in the 70s. Even though we now live out of state, we always make a special trip for fried clams whenever we're passing through Glenview. The owner was incredibly kind and had the cook prepare some for us! We were thrilled, and they tasted just as amazing as we remembered! It was a delightful lunch, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you, Valley Lodge!"

"We love sitting in the enclosed patio a nice unique space. The service was lacking very slow and not attentive. Also, I have celiacs disease (cannot have gluten) I’m always assured by the staff that it’s noted and they will discuss with the kitchen to ensure it’s prepared gluten free. I have had issues in the past and again the last time. I ordered a veggie omelet and it came out with wheat toast on top. They told me it was remade but I got really sick afterwards so not confident that they actually remade it. We sadly won’t be dining there in the future. Warning to anyone with gluten issues."

"This hidden gem in Glenview is a delightful find! I was thrilled to discover this place with its amazing service and even more delicious food. The tacos were excellent, with authentic flavors cooked to perfection. The lamb taco and steak taco are a must-try. The yuca fries were incredibly delicious - I suggest ordering two servings. I will definitely be returning."

"Great food! I got the lunch special #1. Only reason it's four stars is because 2 of the meats were dry i believe it was the chicken and karma kabob's. The third meat was great though! The rice was delicious! You can eat that all by itself! But their portions are pretty big, I didn't finish my meal. Going back tomorrow!!"

"I enjoy dining at this welcoming neighborhood bar with delicious food. Their burgers are a favorite of mine, as well as their shrimp or fish dishes when they are available. However, I was disappointed to learn they do not usually feature daily specials."

"My Korean friend highly recommend we check out this spot as it has authentic food. We arrived with family today for lunch, and ordered the bulgogi bento lunch and tofu soup as well. I loved the japchae noodles and bulgogi as well as the sides which were replenished thanks to the nice waiter. Kimchi and pickled cucumbers were refreshing The tea was great for a rainy day...will come again Service: Dine in"

"‘I Heart Adam’s!’ is going to be my next bumper sticker. In food realm, it is my favorite casual ‘fast food type’ restaurant. With a menu that is ‘pan palatable’— I mean all over palatable to those with varied tastes, of all walks of life — it offers a fare that— no matter what the item— is satisfying; seasoned to the perfect level and fits the varied seasons of Chicago suburbs; ie dishes that are appropriate for our four seasons, such as the lentil soup in fall and winter. It is zesty and flavorful but not overly so. I love the vegetarian plate, falafel, Jerusalem fries and lentil soup. The hummus the BEST store ones don’t compare. Mom and my friends love the chicken sharwarna and kabobs. Customer service excellent and prices very reasonable. Owner and staff Some the Kindest people I know. — and that does matter! My Mom and I could not live without Adam’s. Thank you Adam’s! Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian and rely on this place— veggie platter; hummus; falafel and Lentil soup are my favs. I also love the Jerusalem fries! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Falafel Plate, Adams Platter, Salad, Lentil Soup, Kebab"

"The food was excellent, although a bit on the pricey side. I'm glad to see the dart board is functioning again, and they have fantastic German draft beer! However, it was a little odd that when I ordered a Greek salad without chicken over the phone, I received a Caesar salad with chicken instead. That’s quite a departure from my request! Unfortunately, I couldn't wait for them to remake it since I had back-to-back work-from-home meetings. In the future, I think I'll just order through an app."

"I was introduced to this place by my best friend. I will hands down say that this is my favorite Korean bakery chain among the various ones I've tried. I don't come here often because when I go, I tend to buy a lot for friends and family. My mom is a fan too as she loves their sweets! I love their breads and baked goods-they are so soft and fluffy and the right amount of sweetness. The bakery items can be pricey, but I feel that one is paying the quality and freshness of the products. I'm writing this review after eating the milk bread that my mom bought this morning :"

"Everything was delicious! We ordered the combination plate with lula kabob, steak, and pork, accompanied by potatoes, Jerusalem salad, and house salad. We also tried another combination plate featuring lula kabob, steak, and pork, served with tabbouleh, rice pilaf, and cabbage salad. The presentation was beautiful, and every dish was incredibly tasty. The staff was very attentive, and the restaurant was clean and charming. I can’t wait to return soon! Service: Dine in."
