"The restaurant was really busy with online orders, so going in to order was the best choice. It took about 15 minutes, and the staff were friendly and attentive, even noticing when some customers were getting a bit too loud at the door. When we got home, the food was still piping hot. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any utensils, but we had our own cutlery and some spices on hand. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs were cooked over medium, with just the right amount of runny yolk—exactly how I like them. The pancakes were enormous and quite a challenge to finish. This was my first visit, and while I enjoyed it, I probably won’t return to this location because it's too far from my friendly neighborhood."

"Everything here was just okay. The cocktail was too sweet. The server was very hard to get a hold of. And I wasn’t impressed with the food. The salad was the best thing they had! They charged scallops a la carte. The salmon Caesar was pretty good. Overall, I would not return here again. Primarily because the simple meal took a very long time and we didn’t enjoy it. Food: 3"

"Side Street never disappoints. No matter what we order, it is delicious, but we certainly have our favorite go to's. My partner always gets the breakfast burrito and adds the chipotle mayonnaise to the inside and on the side. (See photo. I usually order the deli potato skillet or the quiche Lorraine. We ask for extra crispy home fried potatoes. My daughter claims the banana nut or chocolate chip pancakes are the best in the Metro Detroit area, and she always requests their cakes for her birthday. The coffee is delicious and plentiful, and the servers are friendly, funny, and accommodating. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait in a tight space with no seating, and the prices are higher than other breakfast places, but then again, it's high quality food that always delivers on taste. Also, I can only finish half my meal, so I get two meals for the price of one. Leftovers reheat well in a 350 oven for 10 minutes wrapped in aluminum foil. I highly recommend Side Street."

"a late lunch. happy hour articles from 230-530. miso suppe was pretty good. Ginger salad for $2 during the happy hour. the dumplings were deep fried and were not so great. we liked the sushi we ordered. our waitress was excellent. this would be higher if the place was cleaner. on the etagen there were eating and the tables and bars could use a good shrub. 7/15/22 revisit: sat for lunch and get 3 rolls supper,e and salat. the nasalat is pretty good and lightly dressed. all 3 rolls were well presented and service was excellent. the mistsuppe is an acquired taste and her is quite strong. I saw none of the special areas they have. that was about 70."

"1st time visiting this place with a friend. Went for lunch as we figured that would be the least crowded especially now during this COVID pandemic. Proper social distancing in place so we stayed. Outside seating was a little full so we chose inside. Atmosphere was great. Our greeter waitress was really nice friendly. Drinks (Apple Martini’s) were great! Food was awesome (Chicken Marsala) and seasoned to perfection. My friend ordered a burger but didn’t like the house sauce that came on it and the waitress happily took the burger replaced it with a new burger without the house sauce. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and often checked in with us. We were not rushed out after eating after paying our bill we decided to spend some additional time sitting outside chatting before leaving since space was available and it had slowed down a bit. Most definitely will return again!"

"The food and wine were excellent. We ordered the fried Zucchini, some pasta and the grilled branzino. We think they forgot our order since we had to remind them after almost an hour that we hadn’t received our appetizers. They recovered very well after that rushing our order and comping our entire meal! Quite a class act! If you don’t get it right the first time, it’s all in the recovery after all!! "Chicken sandwich was old, the patty was so hard to chew through. I don't have high standards I just at least want something that won't break a tooth. Every single time I've been here at least one item is old, cold and tough to eat. Sadly this is the closest Wendy's to me. The staff seems to be angry about doing their jobs which is very unfair to the customer who eats the disgusting food they make. Please managers, do something about the food quality."

"I wish I could give this Panera 0 stars. The past 1-2 years it’s gone down the drain. I ordered today on my mobile app and I came in early so I went to go sit down in the back. One of the employees that was standing on the outside of the counter handing out pick up orders was yelling at a customer in front of everyone to never come back again and he wasn’t allowed. The customer continued walking out and didn’t comment back. The employee said he doesn’t like how he grabs the bag from his hand every time he comes in. Now I see why… they are extremely behind and everything is WRONG! They are all yelling and talking about customers out loud. I get it gets busy and overwhelming but the way they acted was so unprofessional. Finally when I got my order I left, I made the mistake of opening it when I got home. I got a you pick 2 an Asian sesame salad with a chipotle chicken sandwich half. When I got home it looked like a handful of lettuce in the container. Come to find out they put a whole half of an avocado in my salad under the lettuce. This salad doesn’t even contain avocado. My sandwich was a whole sandwich. I asked for turkey instead of chicken (the only thing right) and sourdough instead of focaccia. They didn’t put sourdough and barely put any toppings on the sandwich, so it was all bread 4-5 turkey slices stacked. I’ve never been so disappointed with an establishment. It should not be $31 for disappointment. Undercover boss really needs to get over there."

"The service was excellent, and the food was enjoyable. I tried the French toast, a fruit pancake (I can't recall its exact name), and a regular pancake. The regular pancakes were fantastic! The fruit pancake was tasty, although it was smaller than I expected. Be prepared to wait about 25 minutes for your food to be prepared, so it's a good idea to pay for 2-3 hours at the meter to avoid a parking ticket. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce on the French toast; the toast was cut into small pieces. I'm glad I gave this place a shot and might return to try the blueberry pancakes. The restaurant is small but has a nice, cozy atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing meal. I recommend checking it out, but make sure to secure a good parking spot or park for free on the street by the church."

"Placed my usual take out order of pad ped and a Thai iced tea. When I arrived to pick up my order, discovered the tea is no longer being served in a Styrofoam cup, but is now served in a can. The waitress assured me it is the same as before. It is not. The canned tea tastes like chocolate milk. Will not be ordering this again."

"Luxe is a frequent takeout option for me, which is funny because their barely functional website won't pull up a menu more than half of the time. Having eaten inside only once a year or so ago for my first visit, I didn't take away any particular impression. It was the standard upscale bar experience. Still, when i call in an order I already know I'm going for a classic burger and fry combo of some sort. It's a pretty damn expensive burger and fry combo. I think I end up spending close to $30, but it's honestly really really good. It's by far my favorite burger anywhere on this side of town. I'm not too keen on a lot of their other menu items. Nothing is bad, it's just that nothing else really seems to really slap that hard for the price... I take that back. The ahi tuna salad I got once looked almost as bad as the one pictured here on Yelp. That aside, whatever, this place is a fantastic burger and fries for me. I think I've tried every burger on this side of town and even with the price hike, I'll still just keep coming back to Luxe for another."

"Pub? This charming establishment on The Hill in Grosse Pointe Farms is far more than a typical pub. Casual? Sure, I can agree with that—it's Grosse Pointe, after all. However, calling it just a sandwich and beer joint doesn't do it justice. I recently returned from a week in Martha's Vineyard, where I spent a significant amount on some of the finest cuisine the island has to offer. I can confidently say that the menu at Lucy's Taverne On The Hill is more varied, the presentation is more creative, the waitstaff is just as attentive, the wine selection is impressive, and most importantly, the food is better than what you'll find at the high-end spots in Martha's Vineyard—all at half the price. If I had to pick on something, it would be the flatware, which felt slightly above disposable. Aside from that, I have no complaints—great job!"
