"I visited this restaurant for the first time after reading an article about it. I ordered the Forkbender and a half slab of ribs. Everything was incredibly tender and had a nice smoky flavor. The barbecue sauces were a great complement to the meats. The mac and cheese was flavorful, and the coleslaw was equally delightful. However, the beans could have really benefited from a little real maple syrup. I added some when I got home, and they turned out perfect! The ribs were delicious and practically fell off the bone, although I found them a bit salty for my taste. I’d recommend incorporating some brown sugar in the rub to add a bit of sweetness. I prefer sweeter ribs over salty ones. I also expected the sausage to be smoked kielbasa, but it turned out to be Italian sausage instead. Unfortunately, they did forget to include my cornbread with both orders. Apart from that, the service was fast and friendly. They mentioned that burnt ends are coming soon as they work on perfecting them. I can’t wait to return!"
