"Happy hour runs from 3 to 7 PM on weekdays, and they recently added new arcade games for those young at heart. The restaurant is the first brick-and-mortar location for two brothers who started with a food truck. A brick deck oven takes center stage, showcasing their perfectly crisp golden-brown crust.
Here's what I discovered: they make their own dough and sauce, shred blocks of mozzarella, source their buns from Auddino's, chop all their vegetables themselves, hand-cut their fries, and prepare their ranch dressing and homemade cookies. They also offer cauliflower crust, as well as vegan and keto options. The food truck is still available for catering, and they provide free delivery within a five-mile radius. They're closed on Mondays and offer discounts to veterans.
In addition to serving canned, bottled, and draft beers, they even have smoked brisket as a pizza topping. They feature unique specialty pizzas, fries, and subs—how did I forget to try the John Mac 'nroe sub? I certainly asked a lot of questions.
We opted for a pizza taste test of their pepperoni pizza, which features robust, flavorful Old World pepperoni. The sauce had a great flavor without being overly sweet, and the crust was crispy and thin, generously topped edge to edge. I could really appreciate the crust on its own as it was enjoyable. The cheese had a nice stretchy quality without the rubbery snap of imitation cheese.
I regret not being able to give them a fair taste test by dining in, as takeout always loses something in transit. They allow you to choose between Ohio square cut or classic pie cut for your pizza, and you can order pepperoni or cheese by the slice, with the option to add a garlic butter drizzle. They have also started offering Stromboli."
