"Hot wings are always a solid choice, and the Warsaw casserole can be great on the right day. However, after numerous visits, my last experience left me disappointed. Typically, the pierogies come generously topped with sauce and blue cheese, but this time they were barely covered, making them dry and questionable in quality. I decided to try something different for my main course, but it was a letdown. The BBQ burger was just okay—there was so much BBQ sauce that it was nearly impossible to eat without getting messy. At times, it felt like all I could taste was the sauce. The nachos were a complete surprise, and not in a good way. They were forgotten until our main dishes arrived, and when they finally came out, I was shocked to find just a bowl of chips with a side of nacho cheese sauce straight from a can. I expect restaurant nachos to have some toppings, even if it’s just cheese melted on top, but these were simply chips served separately. I suppose I shouldn’t have expected much given the price. If this restaurant offered complimentary snacks while you wait, like chips and salsa at Mexican places or rolls with butter at steakhouses, those bland nachos would fit perfectly. As for the baked mac and cheese that I had alongside my burger, it was barely even mac and cheese; it was mostly just pasta with a bit of milk and definitely not baked. Not a single noodle was crunchy or golden, and there was no sign of shredded cheese on top. It was so bland that I was tempted to dip it in the can of nacho cheese. Although it was clearly not boxed mac and cheese, I’m not sure which I would have preferred, as it simply tasted like milk. I’ve never left this restaurant feeling unsatisfied, but I think it might be a while before I consider going back."
