"5/5!I recently went here for lunch with my brother and his girlfriend as they wanted to introduce me to something new to eat in RVA. And all I can say is, I'm glad they took me here. The food was incredibly delicious and the staff here were very friendly and attentive! The food: I decided to try two things, since I'm not here often and we'll, why not? I had the Llanera Arepa 8) and the Criollo with Chorizo 12). The Llanera Arepa had steak, cheese, avocado and tomatoes. It was hands down the best arepa I've had so far. The corn meal was cooked perfectly and didn't crumble or breakdown on me. It was perfect.! The steak was cooked perfectly and the portions were very generous. I would've been good with just one arepa and maybe a side of yuca. The Criollo was delicious as well, I had no complaints on anything. The service: the staff were friendly and attentive while we were there. Had a few check ups to see how our meal was, and food came out in fairly good time.Overall, I highly recommend coming here. I know I'll be back, and I'm looking forward to try new items! 5/5!"

"If you're in the mood for tasty Mexican cuisine in Laurel, MD, Mango's Grill is the place. I've known this restaurant for about 16 years so they're not just another eatery that popped up out of no where. What else can i say that hasn't been said already? The food is delicious, reasonably seasoned, portions are decent not too big, not too little, etc. The drink cocktails are greatand they'll make anything you want. For dessert, I prefer their Tres Leches but the fried ice cream is yummy as well. To thisday, I've never been disappointed. ????????????????"

"Go here for a fun bar and party vibe, not for a date night or great food. If you’re in your 20s, this is your spot! The food is just okay, especially for the high prices. I will pay high prices for good food. This ain’t it! You can get take out across the plaza that tastes just as good, if not better for half the price. There was great music outside under the tent being drowned out by loud, at times rock music inside. It made no sense. This isn’t the rock music crowd. It started with nice Saun Paul and just went left. Customers complained and I couldn’t hear the reason it was never fixed because it was so loud that me and hubby were screaming to talk to each other. It was our time alone from the kids to have a great night and my voice was hoarse afterwards. Our server Edgar and food runners were excellent. It was so busy, but they gave great service so all my stars go to them and the house made hot chocolate with brandy.I had a good time but the food is a no for me. I had the Rasta Pasta with salmon. The salmon was tasty. The pasta was too wet with sauce. The jerk wings were not cooked enough for me. I like crispy wings. Ox tails were okay. I didn’t find the Brussels sprouts as good as the reviews. They weren’t that crispy. I’ve had so much better. The place was packed and live. Again, if you’re under 40, go for fun, drinks, music."

"Yeah...so it always takes me a minute to gather my thoughts and write my reviews so let's go! This isn't your typical MidAtlantic Seafood. They're scattered in and around the DMV, let's face it. This location is different. Ambiance? It's a carryout...or is it? Clean, great tables, televisions, and a bar? Exactly! You have the option to dine in. No plates, waitstaff, or cutlery. Definitely a carryout. We decided to dine in for lunch. Service? Like a carryout, place your order and wait BUT... these guys really go the extra mile. Asking questions politely, making sure you know what they offer and how it's prepared. My date has allergies, so that was very helpful and important. Now for the real question, is this carryout fare? Absolutely NOT. Extensive menu (stuffed salmon at a carryout? Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. So many choices, drinks, and even drinks to go. Just go...check out this MidAtlantic and see what the hype is. I'm definitely putting this one in rotation."

"Nice spot with space and seating for about 40 people. The flavor of the Basil Thai and Drunken Noodle was very good. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness. The heat for Thai Hot was pretty good. I'd like it even hotter but it's pretty hot. I really liked that they give two options of noodles for the Drunken Noodle: thin or flat. I'm not a fan of flat noodles but the thin noodles made the dish great. The Wonton Soup and Summer Rolls were good as well. The vegetables in the rolls and entrees all tasted very fresh."

"I have been curious to try this place for a while now.. But since I was finally in the area, I decided to take the plunge and make a takeout order. When I arrived, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Here 's what I ordered: Butter Chicken Pizza 10 : 7/10 I thought it would be a bit more saucier but it was still good. Palak Paneer Pizza 10 : 10/10 very cheesy and delicious! Chicken Korma: 9/10 I love korma... So creamy with a slight sweetness Cheese Naan: 6/10 I think I was expecting some slight seasoning with it but it was still good! Gobi Manchurian: 7/10 I loved the flavor. I thought it would be slightly crispier. Vegetable Pakoda: 10/10 I loved the crispy flavor! Was certainly enjoyable dipped in the tamarind sauce. Overall, I enjoyed the food!! I would definitely come back!"

"Nice Italian restaurant in downtown Laurel! The food was good, not great and it was definitely pricey for the area. We did really like the ambience inside with a fountain in the middle of the restaurant. The booths definitely need to be replaced but we made it work. Service was good and we didn't have to wait for a table. They have a private party room along with a large dining room. We were not disappointed! Service: Dine in"

"I had an excellent experience working with them! We booked the banquet room for an event, and they were incredibly accommodating, even with our numerous requests for changes. Pam and Kim were both very professional and played a significant role in making our event a success. I highly recommend their food and service, and I would certainly consider using their venue again. "I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and the coffee was fantastic! I ordered an iced caramel latte, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they use coffee ice cubes, ensuring that my drink stayed flavorful until the very last sip. I also tried a caramel frappe, which was equally delicious. As someone who loves exploring local coffee shops, I can confidently say that this one ranks among the top I have visited."

"Delicious! I haven't had food like this since I lived in the south. I'm from out of state and we stopped in for a quick meal on our travels. Did not disappoint. The food tasted amazing, fast service, and the restaurant was very colorful and vibrant. We went on a Sunday around dinner and it was very busy but did. Not affect the quality or experience. Price was comparable to what I'd pay around where I live $11-$15 a plate) but the flavor was 10/10 and much better than anything I've found in my area. So very much worth it. My only comment would be for the queso and guacamole you can tell they aren't made from scratch, but i also think the price reflects that reasonably. I still enjoy that type of queso so we weren't disappointed. Overall I'd be very willing to make the 2+ hour drive just to have more of their food again."

"This is a cozy little restaurant with excellent service. When we arrived, we started to put together our order item by item. The cashier kindly suggested we try one of the combo meals and add any extras we wanted, which turned out to be a more affordable option. They also recommended the house blend for the sauce, and it was fantastic! I definitely plan to return."

"Visited Laurel for one day passing through and enjoyed the day and seeing the continued advancement since my visit 3 years ago. The restaurant experience was excellent with very good food, service, and reasonable prices. The only disappointments were the restaurant atmosphere that could have been perfect but some of the lightbulbs along the interior walls have been replaced with cold 5K white light bulbs that take away from the warm welcoming feeling and are bothersome to the eyes. Also, we sat at the front by the windows which was a perfect spot for us but the windows needed cleaning. If these items are taken care of the restaurant will hit all 5s."

"And if that wasn't enough, the cornbread was simply divine in every aspect—texture, flavor, and ingredients—reminding me of the wonderful meals at my granny's house as a child. The only downside was the black-eyed peas, which were a bit too salty for our taste. However, the butter beans were phenomenal, and I'm glad my wife ordered those since neither of us could finish the black-eyed peas. The sweet potato was just your typical sweet potato—nothing extraordinary. My wife, on the other hand, raved about her fried chicken, claiming it was the best she had ever tasted! She also enjoyed the Mac and Cheese, declaring it the best as well! Overall, the combination of delicious food, excellent service, and the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere in Laurel made for a delightful experience. I would gladly pay anything for a lifetime supply of Pearl's collard greens! I didn't get a chance to meet Pearl, although my wife spotted her in the kitchen. If Pearl had a theme song, it would have to be "More and More" from my album, Better Than, because I'd crave her collard greens forever! As for vegetarian options, there were plenty available, though I suspect some animal fats might have been used—after all, it is the South!"

"Highly disappointed I used to always come here and the prices were always reasonable I ordered a pho shrimp and it never used to be 19 dollars for a soup and now they are charging a to go fee which is ridiculous . Spoke with manager and he stated they raised prices up since Covid which is a LIE, because after Covid I would still come here and the prices were the same 14.95 for a pho shrimp , manager completely dismissed what I was expressing to him will never buy from here again, DO BETTER."

"We have been coming here since it opened years ago and it had been our go to Pho place. However they are under new management and the food quality has unfortunately taken a hit. The Pho Bo Kho was my go to dish but now I only got 3 pieces of pretty fatty beef and soggy noodles. We also ordered a Pho dish which also had over cooked noodles. The Boba tea came out with large ice pieces at first and was undrinkable. After fixing that issue a reorder had undercooked Boba pearls. Hope this place can fix these issues and get back to its prior higher food quality standard."

"Tried this place twice to be sure the 1st time wasn’t a bad night. Service is still horrible. I had to tell the waitress how many other tables were ahead of us when she came to take our order. You are not offered drink refills or asked how your food is. I ordered the same thing as last time and received an entirely different chicken. My guess is since it was closer to closing time, they improvised with whatever was left over. Shredded bbq chicken versus grilled marinated chicken pieces are not even close to one another. Our server was a sweetheart but even her personality cannot fix the lack of organization and consistency in this establishment. The prices are cheap and that’s why we tried again. Giving two stars because the food wasn’t terrible, it just wasn’t worth talking about again and our server was pleasant. Won’t be back."

"The food at this restaurant is always excellent, whether you eat in or take out. We consider it our go-to spot for New Mexican cuisine. Our top picks are the nachos, chorizo chicken, and arroz con pollo. And make sure to try the frozen margaritas – they're not to be missed!"

"Ragamuffins is the epitome of what a coffee shop should be and more. The staff is incredible, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the coffee is absolutely superb. I used to enjoy coffee, but now I have a newfound appreciation and love for it. I can't go every week, but I have been here numerous times and each visit I am treated to beautiful latte art and exceptional coffee. The mocha, cappuccino, latte, Spanish latte, and Café-Miel are all outstanding. I have a sweet tooth and adding honey to my coffee makes it even more enjoyable. They offer various milk options, and my partner always remembers to order his with heel milk, which the barista never forgets. If coffee isn't your thing, they also have 6-8 teas to choose from, each one unique and delicious. My favorite so far is the pfefferminztee. Ragamuffins has a wonderful vision and serves the community by providing a space to enjoy handcrafted coffee. The coffee shop is owned by a local church that meets there every morning. I attended a service once and have been going regularly ever since. The church is dedicated to serving its community, even giving up a larger building to be centrally located on Laurel Main Road to connect with more people. The culture at Ragamuffins is loving, supportive, and all about being there for each other. There is something incredibly special and raw about Ragamuffins that makes it easy to see it as a place of genuine friendship."
