"This review focuses solely on the pizza. If I had to sum it up in just two words, they would be "Ketchup Bread." The slices were an inch and a half thick, topped with a thin layer of tomato sauce and generously covered with cheese. While they definitely didn’t hold back on the cheese, their interpretation of a meat lover's pizza was lackluster—just two slices of pepperoni and one slice of sausage on a 4x4 inch square. You’re not really enjoying the meat; it feels more like you’re catching a glimpse of it without any real experience. The veggie pizza was similar, featuring the same thick crust, tomato spread, and cheese, but with the addition of green and red pepper pieces and red onions. While peppers and onions are indeed vegetables, I wouldn’t say this qualifies as a true veggie pizza. Many standard toppings on other veggie pizzas include options like spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, artichoke, zucchini, arugula, kale, eggplant, and mushrooms. I'm not suggesting that every pizza needs to have all of these toppings, but some places go beyond the bare minimum, and we appreciate that. We want you to showcase your creativity; after all, don’t you want to express yourself? As for how filling the pizza is, each piece offers a hefty 24 cubic inches of bread, so yes, it’s filling. However, the taste left much to be desired. The sauce was neither salty nor sweet, and it lacked any bitterness—it was simply bland. When compared to Little Caesar’s, those who tried this with me, myself included, would have preferred Little Caesar’s hands down."

"We had our baby girls 1st birthday party here at Longos on Lakeshore. I have to say from the first call speaking to a young man named Sam who took my party reservations, giving me all the details lf my options for my party, being so kimd and patient with me and all of my questions, to the manager who called me the week before our party (I apologize I forgot her name) but she was absolutely a pleasure! And helped me out by telling me which way I would order would be the best for me financially and took my order. Today showing up early and Brittany our waitress was an absolute delight! She was on her game! She was kind, attentive and caring. She made sure our food came out quickly, and fresh! She came in often to check on us. We never had to wait for refills, we did not have to wait for her to come in to see if we needed more food, more drinks, plates and extra silverware for cake. When we did need to order a little bit more food, she was on top of it, it came out quick, and fresh again. My entire Party loved the food, the service, the atmosphere. The restaurant is clean. Everybody was so friendly. And honestly the last few years it’s really hard to get good service places. Longos did not disappoint. I will not only recommend this restaurant for dine in, but also for parties. Our gratuity was added into our check rightfully so but I honestly feel like Brittny deserves more money and should have given her more of a tip before we left. Our one year-old baby was screaming and crying so I’m definitely going to go back when Brittny is working and give her a little bit more because she definitely deserved it. She helped make , our babies first birthday party better than perfect and I am extremely grateful for that. Thank you Brittny, thank you to the managers, The cooks for making our wonderful, delicious food and everybody else who is involved in helping making this day. Perfect for not just my baby but my family as well. Vegetarian options: Longos has a wonderful vegan cheese, delicious marinara, and tons of veggies! Would love if they offered the garlic knots with either oil or vegan butter. Dietary restrictions: Vegan! ? Parking: Great for this location Kid-friendliness: What kid doesnt love pizza! And we are vegan and longos has tge best vegan pizza around!!!!"

"Five years ago, everything in this restaurant was an Italian delight. Everything. They gave you enough food to eat for the week (still do, but you don't want to eat it). Now? I am not sure what Zappitelli did to change the recipe, but they need to change it back! First, they had sewer flies (gnat like critters) flying around, getting into food and everything. The health department might need to be alerted. His dinner. Chicken Parmesan. The angel hair noodles were stuck together. They left the unedible middle piece in the chicken that he had to remove; he couldn't cut through that. He didn't want a salad, so they offered him meatballs instead. They tasted like rolled up hamburgers the ones I buy in a bag have more flavor. My dinner. Lasagna with meatballs. First off, someone must've sneezed because there were no meatballs, but if they tasted like his, it would just be hamburger. It was nothing but sauce, melted cheddar cheese, extra (we're talking double layer) noodles, a thin (almost like it was just sprinkled) layer of ricotta, and an extra thin layer of meat (but still not a meatball in sight). It came in a boat where the two ends were filled with sauce and melted cheddar cheese over the top, but not much of anything within the layers of noodles. The coffee tasted like it was leftover from the morning and there was no making it better. The garlic bread with cheese was to die for. The ONLY thing in that restaurant worth eating Five stars all day. That is not only depressing but surprising because they were a FIVE star place, but now... 1/2 one, but only because of the garlic bread. Never again."

"5 stars for the flavor and food. One of the best. Seriously the food is super tasty and good. Having lived in various parts of the U.S, definitely this restaurant food will stand out in my memory. Right spice level and tasty food. Kudos to the kitchen team. 2 star for service. Honestly server etiquette has gone down big time. Please involve the servers in some sort of etiquette training on how to talk and treat customers, how to dress, how to take an order, how to maintain cleanliness, how to smile and carry oneself, how not to stare at customers when they are eating food etc. Basic manners has not only gone down but also missing. Restaurants like olive garden has black uniform. Looks classic and respectable. It feels like they are taking effort to look good in front of guests. Maybe this style could be adopted. Serving food in dull worn out style tshirt/jeans looks old school and not neat. A small change can make great wonders for the restaurant outlook and also for the culture. I hope someone takes this comment seriously and give them some training. 5 stars for the atmosphere. love it. except I do see one or two flies here and there. But overall nice peaceful atmosphere with no loud music or anything. You get to enjoy food with friends and family in a warm set up, which is nice. Vegetarian options: Good Parking: Its good Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Malai Kofta, Aloo Naan Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot"

"I picked late night dining because that’s the only way I could comment. I/we were having a great time until I mentioned to Greg (reading the comments I’m assuming that’s his name) that his night time crowd was dead. I simply said you need to get some of the younger crowd in here that aren’t in bed by 8-9pm. I may be a little older but I know my bars. The owner took my head off. Said he doesn’t want the younger crowd in there. He’s happy with his happy hour crowd. It was all fun and games at my expense until I made that comment. I’m so upset after us being there twice since Tom and Sam owned it I thought we found our new spot. I’ve never been so wrong. Drinking or not if you don’t like what a paying customer says (plus 2 that I brought there) keep it to yourself. I was simply trying to say once curfews are over you need a nighttime crowd. In my experience the night time crowd are the ones who don’t start venturing out until 8-10. While your happy hour crowd is in bed. I got verbally reprimanded and yelled at for my opinion/observation by someone who was bantering back and forth with me all evening. I didn’t say a word about anything he had to say about me. Joking or not. I don’t get offended by much but I’m pissed af about the way I was spoken to. He apologized because his mom and stepdad told him to but it wasn’t sincere he kept on and on to them about it sitting right next to me. I tried to explain what I meant and he just kept going at me. When I see bars I love going out of business left and right it makes me nervous for the ones that are left. Somehow I’m the ahole, the customer."
