"The restaurant has a very dedicated great staff. We were there on NYEve so it was unusually noisy filled with kids. Not the restaurant 's fault (and they did the best they could but there was a table with maybe 12 adults and they sat there kids (about 12 ages 3-15? at the table next to us. The kids didn 't eat, or sit but ran around like crazy while the adults didn 't supervise and and their meal. I felt bad for the restaurant who clearly had to 'accommodate ' this unruly crowd and even though there was a lot of people waiting for a hibachi table, the 'adult 's at the 'adult ' table didn 't care. In any case, once that group left, the noise and chaos subsided and we had a wonderful fun time. For the record there were several kids at our table who were well behaved. This large group was just awful. Maybe the restaurant should insist kids sit w/ their parents next time? The food was yummy and chefs a lot of fun. We will go back but will reconsider the NYEve visit. Or maybe go later than 9pm to avoid these large child-filled groups."

"Delicious, fresh, with impressive variety of styles and flavors! Best dosa I've had since I lived in California and there was a restaurant chain that specialized in them... this is a good place to try this dish if you've never had one before. I must add GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS gluten free options Gluten Free Options to help other Yelpers looking for a restaurant experience that won't sacrifice taste or authenticity for having GF options. My only disappointment, ironically, was the GF naan and only because I ordered the garlic version, and I guess that the way it is prepared, the pieces of garlic cloves are burned in the process (if you like that overpowering burned-garlic taste go for it! . I may have been expecting a garlic butter instead based on other restaurant experiences, so my bad. Next time either plain GF naan or none at all, and I'll be saving room for a dosa! And a FULL BAR with cocktails that use a South Asian spin on the classics. Such a find and easier/faster to get to from NNJ and other parts of Rockland than you might think, plus easy strip-mall parking!"

"I am a pizza freak and I think many of these reviews are fake competitors because there are like 10 pizzerias in the new city. That's the best. The service cannot be the best, but I guarantee you if you order a thin crust cake, you will get a pizza like you in Arthur avenue or italy. I have no reason for BS here. the meals are good not the best as posa posa, but again if you are down and dirty rays is better than new city pizza better than roccos and def better than dominoes Da lasagna is quite good, they make bread on the grounds fresh, so no need for rockland bakery and the owner though not italian makes fresh zepolis and canolis, very good deserts so good they were so little I said they would try!"

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the menu had great options for vegetarians like me, even though the rest of my group weren't vegetarian. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially in assisting my 88-year-old mother-in-law with her meal selection. I definitely plan to return and will be ordering takeout in the future!"

"My family and I got takeout last week and my dinner was atrocious. I got the penne alla Ella which has sautéed chicken, artichokes, sundried tomatoes. The chicken was terrible. Had no taste at all. It was like grilled chicken that would be served in a deli grilled chicken sandwich but the chicken was cut up smaller to make it seem it was sautéed chicken. However they did the chicken, it tasted awful, was dry, and not fit for a sautéed pasta dish. Another issue was the gluten free penne which is clearly the lowest grade gluten free brand. Why are you charging extra for the worst GF penne that has no texture and is as soft as cake? But the gf penne I wouldn’t have had much of a problem with if the chicken was at least good since most Italian restaurants use low grade gf pasta. The chicken was that bad"

"I wanted to have some sushi after a long day at work, and this place turned my whole day around!! I had the jalapeño yellowtail, the avocado bomb with salmon and the spicy salmon wrapped in cucumber. It was o fresh, so fast, absolutely delightful!! Service is amazing, food is amazing and the Halloween decorations are so cute!! 10/10 recommend this fabulous restaurant! Food: 5"

"A great selection of frozen yogurts and toppings, I had to come back two days in a row! The vegan flavors at the time of my visit included the mango, pomegranate raspberry, chocolate and marshmallow. These flavors change periodically. I tried the mangoand raspberry the first day without any toppings and it was absolutely delicious, the mango is very similar to talenti?s mangosorbet! Today I had the vegan chocolate and I thought it tasted better than the regular chocolate frozen yogurt! Downfall ofthis place is the price, like all frozen yogurt shops it?s a little more pricey than your average ice cream shops. Regardless,I?ll be back!"

"I went to this restaurant for lunch today and it was very busy, but they managed to find us a table. Oscar provided excellent service, our drinks were quickly refilled, and the burger was cooked perfectly to my liking (medium rare) with great toppings. The meal exceeded my expectations and I have always been well taken care of at this place."

"I waited for my order to be taken, waitress walked away after taking the man's order at my table, leaving me to sit there with nothing. I waited for everyone to finish eating while she came back to check on the man and ignored me. I feel really sad due to this experience and will not be returning. Edit: Table furthest in the back to the right side. Got there about 5:30 pm.(march 8th) Order: wings, kids mozzarella sticks, penne pizza, 1 drink(alcohol),kids spaghetti,kids drinks. I attempted to order when the kids second drinks were ordered. I gave up after. It was known by the table that I can't eat gluten so I didn't order pizza. I just played it off so there wouldn't be conflict. Also a proper tip was given as well. I'm not angry by the situation, just didn't have a good experience. I did say excuse me but maybe she didn't hear me. I like my family to have a good time and didn't want my experience to hurt that. Edit:Also, the man at the table wasn't in good spirits as he decided against finishing the food and wanted it packed up and leave immediately.his facial expression in video reflects that. He put his food in the trash after we left and said that he didn't enjoy being there as the situation stressed him out. In the end...just let your waitress know to ask both adults at the table it they want to order something and not always just cater to the men. It helps."

"I'm a huge fan of raw fish and quite particular about my sushi. I've tried sushi all over the USA, including some that was freshly caught right off the boat. I frequently visit various sushi spots throughout New York State, and I even make my own at home. After dining at many well-regarded sushi restaurants, particularly on the East Coast, I have to say that New City Sushi is my favorite. This isn't just due to its proximity to where I grew up, but because they source their fish fresh and hand-pick the best quality. Their spicy tuna and salmon recipe is unmatched by any other place I've visited. One of my favorite rolls is their spinning reel – it's truly the best I've ever had."

"This restaurant offers the best pastrami, corned beef, and noodle pudding in the county. Their mushroom knishes are absolutely perfect, and the chopped liver is flawless. The seven-layer cake is excellent, and the cherry chocolate-covered marshmallow twists are delicious. They also make the best chicken and tuna salad around. The quality of food here is outstanding, reminiscent of Katz's Deli in Rockland. Shawna, who works at the restaurant, treats every customer like family. Her service is greatly appreciated, and she always prepares the most delicious hot dog on a bun for me. It's a must-try experience!"

"Your typical starbucks. The staff is very friendly. The drinks are too expensive, but delicious. A cozy place to hang out and enjoy a conversation about coffee. This location has a very nice outside door terrace with view of the main road, ideal for warmer weather. There are many parking spaces, although more than once, I had to turn around and find another place on the street."

"La Terrazza made the most amazing food for our last team meal of the season for the Saint Joe's Lacrosse Team. There was not a single piece of penne left over. The food was delicious, they offered gluten free options and everyone was happy with the amazing quality. I have also had many dinners and lunches in the restaurant and every time the food and service just gets better. I would strongly recommend La Terrazza for any catering or dining experiences. The quality of food, the friendliness of the staff and the expertise of the owners to coordinate the perfect event is truly what sets this restaurant apart from the rest. NO OTHER VEGGIES, maybe 1 or 2 mushrooms.and UNDERNEATH that …WAS PORK FRIED RICE! Which is not stated on menu ,, on the menu it says choice of soup , egg roll, OR RICE.I don’t EAT PORK ! I almost threw up ! LOOKED LIKE DOG FOOD! And WAS LIKE RUBBER.THE LO MEIN TASTED 4 days OLD, WITHOUT ANY VEGGIES , AND VERY DARK, as though they took 4 day OLD LO MEIN AND SMOTHERED IT WITH SOY SAUCE.I TRIED TO PUT DUCK SAUCE ON IT TO KILL THE TASTE, and the DUCK SAUCE TASTED LIKE RANCID VINEGAR!!I CALLED THE RESTAURANT AND ASKED To speak with the MANAGER… and the man hung up on me. "Had made reservations for a table of five for Saturday brunch, and the restaurant was kind enough to seat us in our table even after a part of our party bailed out on us at the last minute. Their five person table facing the street as you enter the restaurant is beautiful and perfect for a group of six adults. We got started with some cocktails which included a very nice Rye based drink, Instant Zen $17). It was packed with a nice taste and a kick! For food, we got the Crab Fried Rice $32) from their Large Plates section, and the Crispy Pandan French Toast $18) both being absolutely delicious! The portion size and price ratio felt a bit off with the crab fried rice, but the expert consuming that plate had very good things to say about it specifically with the way the fishy crab meat smell was controlled on that plate. Service was absolutely fantastic right from being greeted by a friendly host to servers. The restaurant set up was also very beautiful with very good outdoor seating options! Will definitely visit again for trying out their dinner menu!"
