"I visited this restaurant tonight, and although it was quite busy, the experience was still enjoyable. The waitress was satisfactory, but there was room for improvement. However, the pizza more than made up for it—it's definitely among the top on my list! It was divine, with an abundance of cheese and flavor. The crust could have been a bit softer, but it was still delicious. I will definitely return!"

"Finally… I had my first visit! I wasn’t sure what to order, but the waitress suggested two gyros for just $6. What a great deal! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone. If you're looking for a refreshing alternative to your usual lunch options like McDonald's, Dunkin', or Jack in the Box in this area, this is a fantastic choice. Both the turkey and Greek gyros were delicious. A big thank you to the waitress for her help! There’s also a nice variety of sauces and pickles to choose from."

"I visited this restaurant with a friend who was in town from New York. We ordered the wings as an appetizer and were pleasantly surprised by their size. We had no idea that it would come with fries, and the portions were enormous. It was a delightful surprise, and I was so full from the appetizer that I ended up taking my dinner home. Our server was very friendly and wonderful, making our visit even more enjoyable."

"I've been a fan of Red Robin for many years. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is usually excellent; however, during my last visit, it was just decent. My main concern is the value for money. I understand that inflation and rising ingredient costs play a role, but with the current menu prices, I can't justify having lunch there anymore. The meal was good, but not worth the cost."

"The food is consistently excellent, the service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is fun. They also offer a variety of drink and food specials each day. While the beer prices are not the cheapest, they're also not the highest, making it a good value overall. Everyone I've recommended this place to has loved it. All employees, including management, are very attentive. Don't let a crowd or a wait deter you from trying it out. It's worth a little delay, and in Olathe, if it's 6 PM any day of the week, you're likely to wait at least 30 minutes anywhere (except McDonald's—yuck!)."

"I usually have a great experience at Pepper Jack's, but today was disappointing. I ordered the chicken Philly and was asked if I wanted onions, mushrooms, and green peppers. I requested no mushrooms and asked for jalapeños instead. They confirmed my order and started preparing it. While they were making my sandwich, I chatted with them about my fries. Once I sat down, I noticed that they had added more mushrooms than jalapeños to my sandwich. The line was quite long, and I didn’t have time to wait again, so I tried to remove as many mushrooms as I could. However, after biting into another one halfway through, I just couldn’t continue eating. I understand mistakes happen, but unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've had this issue with a DoorDash order."

"Tried their restaurant in Olathe a loooong time ago, don't remember much other than it was a fast-casual concept similar to Chipotle or now Burnt Ends in Overland Park for BBQ. This review is for their food truck, which we patronized at the Meadowbrook Park Festival yesterday. Burnt Ends Sandwiches $12 had a generous serving of chunky burnt ends on a good but not great bun (we ate mostly the burnt ends anyway). Good flavor and texture. Since it was a food truck they offered bags of chips and canned sodas for simplicity. Very good value for meal received, would definitely hit up this truck again should we stumble upon it."

"Whenever we had questions or needed assistance, Keeley was right there, almost as if she could read our minds! Many of our guests praised us for choosing such a wonderful venue. The pizzas were fresh and delicious, and Keeley made sure every child had an adult to help them cool down their slices. I think choosing the 3-5 PM slot for the party was perfect. There was another little girl having her party at the same time, and both hostesses coordinated beautifully to ensure the events ran smoothly together. It was a lovely touch that even the other customers joined in singing to both birthday girls. Overall, we were very pleased with everything—thank you! Oh, and the air conditioning was working great! While Chuck E seemed a bit sluggish at first, with a little encouragement and cheering from the kids, he perked up. There was a bit of head-holding, which might have been a training issue, but our granddaughter, being just 4 years old, had no complaints at all!"

"The cinnamon roll was amazing but not amazing enough that I can excuse how I was treated here. From the moment I walked in the staff seemed annoyed that I had my daughter with me. One woman working there got on to my daughter twice, even though she was not doing anything wrong. The woman just simply did not appreciate kids in her presence or pastry shop. It came to a head when this same employee literally raised her voice at my friend and I that our kids were “being wild and will probably break something.” The kids were simply sitting at another table across from us laughing and enjoying a morning out with a friend. It was appalling. There were exactly two other customers in the entire shop who did not seem phased at all by our kids’ “wild” behavior.I won’t be returning here where kids are not respected and families are treated this poorly. Please be warned if you have kids and decide to dine here with them. Kid friendliness: Extremely not family or kid friendly"

"I ordered a chicken, bacon, and avocado salad to go. The waitresses told me to ask the bartender. He walked over and said, Carryout order. I replied yes and gave my name. Those were the only words spoken. It wasn 't a friendly atmosphere. The bag didn 't have any plastic utensils, napkins, or salt. My kitchen cabinets are being repainted, so the frames are sealed off and had wet primer on them. I had to dig through stacked trays to find silverware. The chicken was bland and needed salt, but I couldn 't get in the cabinets. The cucumbers were cut way too thick, so I cut them up. The Peanut on 127th and Metcalf is much better. I ordered the same thing there a week ago, and it was delicious. They were also friendly and considerate on Metcalf. It is very rare that I leave a bad review. The only good thing was that it was ready in 10 minutes. Perhaps a few more minutes of prep would have made a difference."

"We absolutely adore this restaurant, and it's clear that many others do too given how consistently busy it is! Our favorite spot is to sit in the bar area, where Ben provided us with exceptional service during our last visit. The food was fantastic and we especially loved the tiramisu, which I highly recommend. Each time we come here, we try something new and are never disappointed. The staff is also very careful when packaging to-go orders, which we truly appreciate."

"I'm happy to share that I had a fantastic experience during my return visit to this restaurant on June 9th. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind, ensuring our orders were accurate and our drinks were just right. Most importantly, he allowed us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed, which created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. As I’ve mentioned before, the food here is simply incredible! However, I did have a rather frustrating first visit that I hope to avoid repeating. On that occasion, it seemed the staff were more focused on getting us to leave than on allowing us to savor our meal—it felt more like they wanted us to "hurry up and leave" than to "hurry up and wait." The food, drinks, music, and overall ambiance were great. I ordered the sampler platter from the appetizers, which was delicious. Unfortunately, our server that night lacked experience and professionalism. I’m not sure if he was new or just very young. During my first visit, I was dining with a friend, and our total bill came to over $100. Throughout our meal, the waiter kept asking if we were finished and even brought us the check and a takeout box while we were still eating, suggesting he could take our plates away. My friend asked if we really had to leave so soon, and he responded that there was a long line, adding that we could stay as long as we continued to order more. She politely explained that we hadn’t finished yet and wouldn’t be ordering anything else, as we had only been there for an hour. In response, he threw his hands up in frustration and walked away. While I understand the need to serve more customers and maximize profits, I’ve never felt so rushed out of a restaurant before. Despite this, I do plan to visit a different location of K-Macho’s, as I truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere; it was just the service that negatively impacted the experience."

"This review focuses more on an observation rather than the food. The food was excellent, as always, but when I visited during the busy lunch rush, there were long lines and a lot of orders being placed. While waiting for my take-out order, I saw a mother with two young boys also waiting for her food. One of the boys was upset and crying on the floor, and as she tended to him, the other boy fell off his chair and started crying as well. The restaurant staff quickly came to help. One staff member took the older boy for a walk around the restaurant, while another staff member comforted the little boy who fell. In a world where people are typically too busy to help others in need, it was heartwarming to see these employees step in without hesitation to assist. It was a gesture that was not part of their job description, but they did it with kindness. I wish I knew their names to give them the recognition they deserve, but this review will have to suffice. It brought a smile to my face!"

"I visited during the busy lunch hour and encountered an issue using the self-service kiosk due to a problem with a Visa gift card. Fortunately, the cashier was extremely helpful and patient with me. An employee assigned to dining room cleanup also tried to assist me at the kiosk, and I noticed her helping multiple customers with chair arrangements and tidying up. A gentleman working in the kitchen was quick to provide me with the soup I wanted, even though it was my mistake for not realizing that the broccoli cheddar soup had been swapped for broccoli cheddar mac 'n' cheese. This experience really brightened my day. It's clear that this team genuinely cares about treating customers well, and they truly deserve recognition for their efforts. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family."

"The restaurant was pretty bustling when we went there. We started with chips and salsa as an appetizer, but sadly, about half of the chips were greasy and soggy. My salad came just a minute before my chicken sandwich, and by the time I finally got to enjoy my sandwich and fries, the fries were hard and cold. Despite this experience, I left a tip, hoping it was just a rare off night for them."

"The waitress appeared disinterested, which was quite noticeable. When we said goodbye on our way out, she didn’t even look up and barely muttered a response while scrolling through her phone. Based on this experience, I can't recommend this place for sushi. I'm not even tempted to return to try anything else. Update: Due to the unprofessionalism in your response as an owner, I now have to give all 1's. There are far better sushi lunch specials in JOCO. The waitress didn’t apologize because we hadn’t complained, yet your restaurant had only four guests, including us, at that time."

"The staff were rude and inattentive, I ordered 2 scoops in a waffle BOWL for my granddaughter and they put it in a waffle cone. When I pointed out their mistake they got upset with me and then left the ice cream in the cone an turned in upside down in a waffle bowl, this upset my granddaughter a little as she has special issues when it comes to eating. When I ordered my 2 scoops in a waffle bowl they picked up a cone again and I caught them and said no cone the waffle BOWL please, I got heavy disgusted sighs and dirty looks. All workers were teenagers, perhaps their should be an adult manager on duty at all times to supervise the teenagers because if not you will lose business as they do not want to do the job properly. It's been a favorite spot to take my family and clients for many many many years, but if this ever happens again I will NEVER go back! They will get one more chance and that it's it. Don't bloe it again Baskin Robbin's!!"

"This pizza was amazing! We ordered a hand-tossed Chicago 7 with extra black olives instead of mushrooms, and I've never seen a pizza loaded with so many toppings! We also tried the jalapeño cheese pretzel bites, but unfortunately, we had to send them back. They were overcooked, hard, and a bit burnt, lacking flavor, although the cheese dipping sauce was excellent. Our server was very friendly and promptly removed the pretzel bites from our bill (we had already received our pizza by the time we returned them) and was genuinely apologetic. We don't like to send things back, but these were disappointing and not worth eating. The $4 draft beer was their only game day special, and with the pizza costing $26.99, that's why I'd rate them four stars. We were using some Christmas money, otherwise I wouldn't be comfortable spending nearly $30 for a single pizza after tax. It was definitely delicious, though!"

"The Mexican pizza is finally back! The first time I tried it, I found it to be just okay, which is my general impression of most items at Taco Bell. This time, I decided to dine in instead of eating in my car because I wanted to enjoy the pizza fresh, whatever they use to prepare it. The tostada shells were lovely and crisp, but they were a bit too thin, which made them fall apart when I tried to pick them up with my fingers. It did remind me of an authentic tostada, even though the corn tortillas didn’t crumble. I don’t think I’ll be ordering this frequently, but maybe I’ll get it occasionally. The service was good, though not exceptional."

"The food here is excellent, and mistakes with orders are quite rare. It’s very affordable—likely around $30 for a group of 7. I particularly love the Crunchy Gordita, the 5-Layer Burrito, and the Bean Burrito. I would definitely recommend this place for quick Mexican food!"
