He smiled and was so kind and professional while running around like a chicken without a head. While the pizza was delicious I will not return as I cannot support or endorse such lack of teamwork, back-up plan, etc."

"Upon arrival the host was amazing and very welcoming. When we were seated my fiancé and I enjoyed the lovely view. But after our experience with our server I would never recommend Rusty hook while he is working there. Upon sitting down our server was rude and rushed us on what we would like to order. After ordering a appetizer and an entree for us to share the server then left with an attitude. I see this all the time since I worked at a restaurant and are in our twenties. He thought he wasn’t going to be tipped. After receiving no service from him I had to grab another waiter to grab us extra plates and drinks. When he finally showed up he asked if we wanted the check. Again trying to rush us out. I then asked for a dessert menu. After ordering the cheese cake he reply’s with an attitude “your just getting one?” He then comes back to us and slams two forks on the table, not on a napkin, not rolled up, not even on the side plates that I had to ask someone else for that we’re still sitting on the table! Especially On the table during covid. A server like that should never be at a restaurant, I wouldn’t even hire him at my business. Terrible guest service ,terrible experience, Rusty is a never again for me. I should of grabbed the manger to bring this to their attention but I just could not be there after he slammed the forks"

"What a really beautiful place, one that is a perfect example of hidden gem, as I happened by La Veranda many times, but so far not stop dine and enjoy it. The fact that she's been here and in business for 37 years is proof that they've always done things right. After I made my way through a beautiful veranda/terrace like area and entered the door, I immediately became a warm welcome not only by the owner, but also by his well-dressed perfectly well maintained staff. In addition to the veranda terrace it has a large, well decorated dining area complete with sparkling (my advise hand-dried) glassware and lace like tablecloths. There was a long list of food specialties, well thought out of meat, poultry and seafood. I went for her speciality of the evening a lobster Diablo together with her home salad. When the house salad arrived, it was simple, but crispy and fresh. The highlight of the salad however was that it was with a bowl of delicious creamy Italian house dressing, one of the best as well as the most tasty ever. The lobster came served on a good al dente linguini, a lobster allegedly of two pounds, but I actually think considerably bigger, more like good three pounds, a cover of shells, diablo sauce; a really delicious meal and for what I have more than reasonable price on $54. When reviewing their menu and talking to their very professional waiter, Ken, I really look forward to trying some of their regular menu items, especially their calfs franchises that I understand that they are hand-cut in house. The only drawbacks I have found are all relatively low, are a very shortened selection of wine, beautiful stable solid wood, but tirelessly hard on your bump without armchairs. But for what I had for what I watched from the menu list and in view of its rather elegant setting for an Italian restaurant in Pompano, it is as good as getting; therefore, five stars."

"Needed a spot for a 12 ppl company function. Legends was the only place that was happy to accommodate us. Due to party size, we had to sit outside; cooling fans were a bit loud. Food was fantastic and our server, Avery, was THE BEST! Parking is a challenge, but there is addtl. to the north across 6th, a fact that the reservation taker did not mention to me and most of the staff didn't know. Would have been helpful to have that info prior to our arrival in separate vehicles. Highly recommend great food, staff, and vibe!"

"Was in the area to drop off car for some body repair and stumbled upon this place. Area and shopping center looked nice and clean so decided to stop by. It has a drive-thru so gonna keep it in mind for when I’m on my way somewhere. Inside it was a bit cold both temperature and decor wise. They can use a couple of area rugs and real plants to liven it up. Anyway the staff was incredibly pleasant and patient since we had never been there. It was a bit strange that they had croissant sandwiches but no plain croissant. The veggie flatbread and croissant sandwich which we chose were obviously outsourced but still good. The coffee was great. The service was friendly and thorough. The menu is a bit extensive and complicated but I’m sure it’s cause it’s new. I would totally frequent this place if I lived or worked in the area. It’s very comfortable and I’ll def be back when I accompany my friend to pick up the car. "My friend and I went here for lunch. I was not disappointed, both of our meals were delicious and the atmosphere was great. The meals were had good lunch prices and the facility was clean. I had one of each taco and each were just as delicious. Only complaint I have is that the trays smelled kind of bad but not worth lowering a star."

"Food was good, started with escargot tasteful and hot only issue was there was only one small toast point served with the escargot. I had the bone in rib eye steak cooked perfectly to rare plus my companion had the 8 Oz filet cooked perfectly to medium rare. Both of us had baked potatoes which were still hard in the center and not hot. Had to ask our server Marcho for another serving of butter and sour cream as he only bought a serving for one potato. Only real complaint was our server seemed to be in a hurry although we told him no rush and the dining room was over half empty on a Friday night."

"While Nikki's may not have the vibrant atmosphere of a well-known Greek restaurant located a few miles south on A1A, it offers an impressive selection of authentic Mediterranean dishes. We started with a deliciously grilled octopus appetizer, followed by a classic Greek salad, and then enjoyed a fantastic gyro plate and moussaka. These dishes were complemented by a fine bottle of Greek red wine and a 'dessert' glass of ouzotini. The customer service was impeccable. One of the perks of this location is the free parking available at the restaurant, situated at the northwest corner of A1A and Atlantic, just a short stroll from the beach. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options available. Be sure to secure your parking spots by calling ahead, and after making your reservation, you can expect a call from the restaurant with parking instructions. "The most delicious pizza of all. This is a small cozy place. They mainly offer delivery and pick-up, but if you're really hungry like me and my family were they have a few tables and chairs and you can eat there right away. I traveled like 10 miles to buy two extra large pizzas, a humongous burger, some churros and a 2-liter Coca-Cola and it was worth it. That was last Saturday. On the Thursday before we ordered from work 2 XL specialties and they were delicious. For that reason I went with the family to My Pizza Place."

"One of our fave places. Food always fresh and nice presentation. Service is hit and miss, yesterday was no exception. We sat in patio area where we always sit, but by the time we got there at 12, orders were not placed until around 12:30 food didn’t arrive til around 1:15, unacceptable most especially in light of $200 tab!! Come on mgmt, pay top dollar for your servers they deserve it!!!!"

"Great experience and phenomenal food, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. I’ve been eyeballing this place because it’s so close to me and has such an inviting look. But I will say after trying to food I am here to stay! We started with the octopus to share. It was delicious, flavored with lemon and spices and grilled enough where the inside was still super tender. It came with a side of tomato salad and olive oil drizzle. Then we went for the pita bread butter which was super flavorful and such a great addition. The sea food pasta was delicious, adorned with shrimp, squid and clams. It was everything I could wish for. My husband for the swordfish with rice and salad. Also a phenomenal choice. The dishes tasted fresh and home made which we found to be charming. Another plus is the size of the plates. While it was too much for one sitting I am fond of taking leftovers, but I’m sure some people will find comfort in knowing you won’t leave hungry. They had tons of wine options that paired well with the food, and our waiter was knowledgeable in the dish to drink pairing so if there’s any doubt you can always ask him. I will say I was a bit taken with the prices of the plates, but after seeing the size of it I can understand why. The restaurant has a modern look to it which was something I did not expect, since the building outside is somewhat rustic. Overall, great experience and I hope to return soon."

"A very pleasant and classic sushi restaurant. It has a much more authentic atmosphere compared to a Fusion Sushi restaurant. The quality of the fish was very good. We really enjoyed the kalamari tempura, something we had never seen before. We really enjoyed having a cold beer on their outdoor tables. The service was very attentive. "Last night?s dinner was at Gianni?s. I?ve eaten there many, many times over the years and they have always proven to be above the majority of their Italian restaurants competitors ? that is not to say that they are the best, though. They are a familyowned and operated restaurant since 1988. They provide home-style cooked Italian cuisine made fresh in the restaurant (exceptfor the pasta) and they even bake their own fresh bread that is offered complimentary (a basket full of warm rolls fresh out ofthe oven, doused in oil and garlic, plus a full loaf of Italian bread that is perfect to dunk-in their delicious soups, winegravy, or marinara sauce. All entrees come with a house salad made of whole Romain lettuce leaves laid down, chopped tomatoes,and their own homemade Italian dressing topped with blue cheese crumbles (you can substitute the salad for a small bowl of soup(a moderate up-charge applies). Every dish on their menu is abundantly generous. We began with the pasta Fagioli soup. Ourserver left us enough time to enjoy our Dunkin? bread and soup. About 15 min later, our entrées arrived; nice and hot were theveal Francese, a plateful of huge manicotti, and I had their signature Gianni?s chicken roulade (a softball size made of2-chicken breasts stuffed with a spinach and cheese mixture wrapped in a flour and eggs batter, and deep fried to perfection andserved with a mushroom and red wine brown sauce (not Marsala wine). Right before our entrées were served, I notice the orderbrought to our neighbor table, a heaping serving of calamari the size of a wristwatch band. Outstanding! (I couldn?t take aphoto but that will be ?next time for me?, for sure). Food is excellent, portions are ample, and prices are moderate$30-35/person not including alcoholic drinks, tax, and gratuity)."

Update on Calypso A couple of weeks ago, Calypso changed owners. Chuck and Lora are gone so u decided to see how things have changed or not. I'll check off several points. Service is as friendly and efficient as always. A new, friendly hostess took us to our table and e placed our order. Disappointed: No Sam Adams on draft anymore! Fish was as fresh and well grilled as ever. Delicious! The plantains, another point of reference were also perfect. I was dreading the deserts not being as good but I was wrong! The key lime pie was to die for, as always . After almost 30 years as a costumer, I still give Calypso my 5 stars"

My only concern about giving it a five-star rating is that it might attract bigger crowds, leading to smaller portions and higher prices like many other places have experienced. But for now? It truly deserves five stars! Regarding parking, we ordered the mixed seafood platter without shrimp, just like we did with the seafood rice, and they served it exactly as we requested!"

"I had a fantastic first visit here, though I wish I had been hungrier so I could sample more dishes! But there's always a next time. The scotch egg was so incredible that I'm actually considering getting a tattoo of it (and I don't have any tattoos). The beer selection was excellent, and the lamb pita felt like a spicy, warm hug.
