"Although the food and our server were excellent my overall first impression of Mimmo’s is just okay. My mother in law wanted to come here for Mother’s Day so I went ahead and made a reservation. They didn’t advertise a limited menu for Mother’s Day so we were upset they didn’t have anything we actually wanted to order. We wanted the crab and artichoke dip to start and it wasn’t on the menu. We wanted the Chicken Toscana, my teenage nephew and niece had a hard time picking out meals because we also came to order pizzas which were not offered! My mother in law ordered the stuffed shrimp scampi and she said it came out cold after it took a long time for our food to come out. By the time her food was remade our table was done eating and she was the one we were celebrating!! Our reservation was at 2:30p and when we arrived no one was in the foyer to greet us. From there the server was great but the food service was slow. I understand it was Mother’s Day and expected to be busy but we waited so long for a limited pasta menu just to have one of our meals come out cold. At 2:30p it seemed like a Friday night would be more chaotic as it didnt seem too chaotic in the afternoon, just filled with people all waiting for food. It seemed as though they were ill prepared for Mother’s Day. I’m disappointed there wasn’t a manager that came around to greet tables. I’m also upset they didnt comp my MILs meal since she did t get to enjoy. I thought the food was good once it finally came out but I would just rather go to like a chain restaurant such as Texas Roadhouse or even Buca di Beppo they know how to pump out the food quick, provide service on busy holidays and it’s always consistent and good. I’m sorry mom and pop restaurant, we tried you for Mother’s Day and it just wasn’t a great 1st impression for me. I’d love to come back for a lunch on the patio with less pressure to please my mother in law! The drink I had was delicious and I’m still curious to try the pizza!"

"This place was such a disappointment. I ordered the Chesapeake crabcake sandwich that came with coleslaw and french fries. My guest ordered the fish and chips. The fish and chips were pretty good and the crab on my dish was really tasty as well. However, the bun, the lettuce and the tomato that accompanied the dish was just a little too large to go with such delicate crab meat. Another terrible thing about this place unfortunately, is the staff. We had a waitress that was really inattentive and rude. I ordered one beverage and on the menu it said that it had fresh lime juice in it. However, it did not have fresh lime juice. They put roses in it and they overdid it. I informed the waitress that I wasn 't impressed so I sent it back. I ordered another and they muddled the cherries in the bottom of the beverage, which is a big no-no. I also sent that one back. The waitress told us that they are a pooled-house which means waitresses and waiters are supposed to work together meaning that they all can help each table when individual guests need assistance. I think this was her way of saying, why don 't you talk to somebody else. One thing that also really makes this restaurant different than others is that when a customer is unsatisfied with a certain part of a meal or drinks, service or staff, the management should come over to the table and make sure that everything is OK and say, we would love to have you back again, and make sure that your experience is better than this one. So, please don 't allow this first visit to be a reflection upon the rest of our service and commitment to our guests. So I will say this, we will never come back here again."

"This was our first time visiting Williams. We enjoy trying out different diners, and tonight we chose Williams. This place is a hidden gem in Reading, offering home-style cooking at a reasonable price. As soon as we walked in, we noticed how clean everything looked. The salad bar had a nice variety of options, and the food looked and tasted fresh. We were seated quickly, and our server Sara was prompt in taking our drink orders. She was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, even refilling my drink without me having to ask. Our food was served promptly and presented neatly. There was no rush to finish our meal, and the portions were generous and delicious, with a homemade taste. We left feeling satisfied and happy, and we will definitely be back to Williams after this wonderful experience."

"Meal Type: Dinner Price per Person: $100+ Food: ★★★★★ Service: ★★★★★ Atmosphere: ★★★★★ I had an incredible dining experience for dinner, with a price tag of over $100 per person. The food was absolutely outstanding, earning a perfect five-star rating for its exquisite flavors and presentation. The service was equally impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, and had great knowledge of the menu. Lastly, the atmosphere was delightful, creating a perfect setting to enjoy the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"I ordered chicken wings and shrimp scampi pizza, and it was the worst I've ever experienced. The pizza crust was burnt, the topping was overloaded with garlic, it lacked cheese, and it was quite dry. The chicken wings were overcooked, dry, and tasteless. I will not be ordering from there again."

"Ah, Chick fil A, ye fast food restaurant of 1,000 sauces and staunch Christian values. The service here is top notch. Always has been, always will be. Their training of young people has got to be off the chain. Everyone is so damn respectful and accommodating here. I think if anyone ever got poor service at Chick fil A, THAT would make national news, because it'd be so out of the ordinary. But let's just talk about the food for a minute. And perhaps more importantly, value. I never feel like I get a good value at Chick fil A. Like, a plain little chicken patty on a bun is $4.00. A chicken wrap is $6.85. You can find chicken sandwiches for a dollar or two at any other fast food restaurants. I know just writing this I'm going to get a ton of flak. I can feel it in my bones. But can we also talk about sauces, too? Polynesian? Revolting. It's a ketchup gloopy mess. Even the signature Chick fil A sauce is a lazy combination of BBQ, honey mustard, and ranch. On paper, I guess that should taste good? Wait, no, it shouldn't. It sounds awful, and it is awful. That concoction should be reserved for Gitmo prisoners. If you want to torture someone, feed them Chick fil A sauce and they will talk, I guarantee it. Sorry, but I have to admit you can get better chicken sandwiches at Popeye's and Bojangles less than five miles away on Fifth Street. I don't think people are aware that we have the northernmost Bojangle's location in the entire country. In fact, the one in Reading, PA is the only location in PA, and the next closest is in New Carrollton, MD 138 miles away. People don't know what they have here! Ok, so here's my controversial take of the day I'd rather have better food and mediocre service than mediocre food and great service. I'd rather go to Popeye's and get a bangin' sandwich that I'll dream about over the A service at Chick fil A coupled with a sub par sandwich. That's my story and I'm sticking to it."

"I recently had lunch at this restaurant and my experience was quite mixed. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, receiving a solid 4 out of 5, which made it a pleasant place to unwind. The service was also praiseworthy, earning another 4 out of 5 for their prompt and attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to my expectations, receiving a disappointing rating of 2 out of 5. While the prices are reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person, the quality of the meals did not reflect the overall charm of the restaurant. Based solely on the food, I would not recommend this establishment."

"The food is EXTREMELY mediocre. The service and atmosphere are wonderful. It's really weird that the menu provides options for both blank angus and prime steaks. I've been here a few times over the years and every time I've ordered prime, but I will never believe that I was served anything other than blank angus. Always tough and overcooked. The seafood is way overpriced, and again, very mediocre. Most recently I ordered a shrimp accompaniment with my salad 3 medium sized shrimps for $16...that's $5.33 per shrimp...for really average, medium sized shrimp. The steaks are in the $50 range, not the $70 range like most top end steak houses, but again, I'm convinced you're just getting blank angus and not prime anyway. Desserts meh. I won't go back."

"These guys are great. We were supposed to have a large family event dinner at a private home and at the last minute we couldn't use the venue. We called Bunratty and with just a couple days' notice they put together a really nice, tasty private function for us. Pricing was reasonable, food was excellent, staff went out of their way to help serve older guests. Our guests commented about how friendly the service was, and how much they liked the tavern. Totally recommend. Great people. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I dined here three times last year and found the food to be of poor quality for the price—regardless of what they charge. We were served on foam trays, and the overall atmosphere feels reminiscent of a budget fast-food joint. The drive-thru is a nice feature, but that's about it. I would much rather enjoy Chinese food from a different restaurant. I give it a 1 out of 5, mainly for the drive-thru concept."

"The first thing you notice about the Windsor Inn is its parking lot, which can get quite crowded during events at Karate Square. Thankfully, this isn't too much of a hassle. The entrance is located on the side and takes you straight into the bar area. The overall decor could use some updates. We chose to sit in the front area, opposite the terrace. The menu features a variety of intriguing dishes and creative twists on classic favorites. They claim to use fresh ingredients, and judging by the extra waiting time for our meals, this seems to be true. Waiting for high-quality, fresh food is definitely worth it. The food itself was absolutely fantastic, with our two entrees either meeting or surpassing our expectations."

"Please have a paper menu for visibility. Impaired. I couldn't see a menu to order. My husband tried to read it, but since it's always very busy, he didn't do well. I ended up with a muffin with bacon and cheese, potatoes. I tried the bacon, no fan, and I can't have potatoes. Not a good first visit. And last with all the fast food. If I can't see the menu, it's not friendly enough for me. It was a disappointing trip after seeing your ads for CS"

"Move over Alebrije, there's a new Mexican restaurant in town. In addition to all the other Mexican restaurants in town, of which there are dozens, if not hundreds. Norte Sur got me my fajita fix throughout the pandemic. So affordable as every other restaurant jacked up their prices. Awesome variety and high quality ingredients. Excellent presentation as well. I have about half a dozen Mexican restaurants within walking distance, but I oftentimes order from Norte Sur (which is about five miles away) simply because it offers so much more value. Check out their lunch specials! You can feed your family of four for $30. That's a deal and a half in this economy."

"I was a bit sad when Viva folded, and didn't really know if this place would be very good. I went there a few nights back, and wow it's a worthy successor. Since it is owned by the same people who do Austins, it shares some menu items with thatrestaurant. However, it has a wide offering of dishes to choose from, each being different from the other. Service was great, food was great, and overall the experience was great. Definitely will be coming back."

"We decided to try Arbor Inn after reading so many great reviews. We figured we couldn 't go wrong for our anniversary dinner. The decor and style indoors is very outdated and crusty. Service was extremely slow and inexperienced for someone that should be serving at a place with the high ratings. The best part of our meal was the mango chutney on the Jerk Shrimp appetizer. The grilled boneless ribeye was overcooked, fatty, and chewy. The Jager schnitzel was full of breading and overcooked. For the amount we paid and the quality of food, it was extremely over-rated and we paid far too much for what we got. The reviews seem to be propped up by the regular patrons that frequent this establishment. We will not return."

"I am not a coffee drinker, but it was necessary for me to go to Perfecto Caffe. I had a quick meeting that was planned to take place at the Starbucks in town. It was closed! The reason: staffing. Well that is what was posted on their doors. Perfecto was directly across the street. First thing that is noticeable is how bright it looks inside the shop. The doors and windows were clear as glass should be. Inside I walked on a clean looking floor of tile. The que was clearly labeled to direct one to get served efficiently. As for service, I saw a person at each of the stations that should be staffed. The girls, yes they were real girls working! They did not give any hints of pretentiousness. I saw warm, friendly girls enthusiastically engaged. I had to make use of the rest room. Each were properly labeled MEN, WOMEN. Inside the MEN'S room ? was clean, stocked and tastefully decorated. They even had a think towel under the soap dispenser to catch any drips to the floor. When I had to order, the girls paid attention to prepare what I was asking for. I sad on in a wide booth with a clean table. If the hot chocolate was not so syrupy, I would call this a Perfecto stop!"

"My family and I went to mom chaffes this evening to find that they employ one of the absolute worst waiters we have ever come across. This gentleman was very unattentive and was extremely disappointed that we were not ordering alcoholic beverages. He needed to be flagged down in order to get refills on the soda, coffee, and the water. This is not our first time at mom chaffes but this time it was so bad that we are contemplating not returning. I won't list the servers name bc I don't wish to mess with anyone's income, however I would put this out there as a warning to the management to do better. We spent over 300 on the meal in total and we watched as other parties who were of the same size were treated differently than we were. When you go out to a nice restaurant, the experience is everything, and clearly the experience was so awful that it was worth writing this review. My father ordered a seafood lasagna which happened to be a special... he took a few bites and stated that it tasted like there was Palmolive dish detergent in the vodka sauce. He was not willing to tell the waiter because the waiter obviously would not have cared anyways. My dish was good, but I am writing this for the party. I'm sorry mom chaffes please do better."
