"eating was not disappointing, but there was no option for bad management. would recommend this place to eat, but not sure I would recommend it for a large group party. we made about 3 weeks reservations for a work, at 4:30-5 last night together. around 6:10 we were told by the server (not his fault) that his manager told him we had only 20 minutes and we had to go. they would eat every night we ordered in a box. after our server we had only reservations up to 6:30. some of us have liked the love martinis and our appetizers, so we asked our server at 5:45 if we could order later. that's not a problem. We were never told when the reservations were confirmed on 2/10 or by everyone in the restaurant when we arrived that we had only 1.5 hours reservations. I spoke to the manager (christ who was not very professional or kreatiw. when we told her that we were never told and had not eaten some of us yet, her answer was, well, what do they want me to do when we never told her that we had only the place until 6:30, she said how would that ring when we tell them that if she was wavy christine. I would think that would have been much less unpleasant than telling us that they only have another 20 minutes and then they have to go. of course she gave it to covid. we had a party in juni and we have no deadline. we went to heritage hills and they were very accommodating and thought it was terrible what happened to us at gas. logan. we all knew it wasn't your fault."

"**Review:** As a frequent reviewer of restaurants in the DMV area, I recently had the pleasure of discovering the charming Red Lion Corner Cafe during my visit to Red Lion, PA for breakfast. Overall, my experience was enjoyable, though there are a couple of aspects that could use some enhancement. Here’s my take: The food was good; I opted for the cheese, eggs, and veggie sandwich. While the flavors were satisfying and the ingredients fresh, I felt the portion size was a bit on the smaller side. It was tasty, but I wished for a bit more to really elevate the dish. On the bright side, the service was outstanding. The staff at Red Lion Corner Cafe were friendly, professional, and very attentive. They fostered a welcoming atmosphere and were eager to meet the needs of their customers. From the moment I walked in to when I left, the service remained consistently excellent. The cafe itself had a cozy and inviting ambiance. Its interior featured a charming rustic aesthetic, with warm lighting and comfortable seating that fostered a relaxing space—ideal for a leisurely breakfast or catching up with friends. I also appreciated the cleanliness throughout the restaurant, which contributed positively to the overall experience. In summary, Red Lion Corner Cafe is a delightful breakfast destination in Red Lion, PA. While the cheese, eggs, and veggie sandwich could benefit from larger portions and a bit more flavor, the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere make it worth the visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, I recommend stopping by for a satisfying breakfast. **Note:** I rated it 4 stars based on the overall positive experience, with some room for improvement in the food department."

"decided to bring my son to breakfast this morning and so I thought I would try The Toast because I had never been there. Parking was easy and the place was all, but empty. The girls on the front were super nice, helpful in answering some questions I had, and we ordered our food. I have to say there was no real option for children and so I spent quite a lot of money for an adult portion of meal for a 5 year old child and there were no real options that were child appropriate, but fortunately he also loves adult food. We sat down and waited a while for our food to come out and at some point I thought it was better to wait, but when the food came out, I realized it was definitely worth waiting. Our food was excellent and I mean excellent. I had a goat cheese, apple and sausage sandwich on a croissant who was heavenly and my son had French toast, which I also tried, and it was very good, nice presentation, though a little dry, but of little matter when you put maple syrup on it. My son needed to use the toilet room, and I found it a little strange that she had stacked additional tables there I found this type of off putting and maybe preventing someone with a wheelchair in being able to really access it easily, so I would say that they probably find somewhere else to store it, but the bathroom was very clean and easy to find. I also really liked how they have art for sale there and it was on the wall in the bathroom and at the front through the registers. I almost missed this because it is so low on the wall in front of the registers, they could probably put it on the large empty wall through the big party table, but nevertheless I like the idea to sell local art if it is actually local. Overall, I would say really good food and I can hardly expect to taste some of their pastries. I don't think it's a place where I would often go to breakfast with my son just because the price points are so high (almost $40 for breakfast) and no children's dishes, and no pancakes that are his main food for breakfast, but I would definitely take my husband there or another adult for a special occasion breakfast, treat a sandwich to treat me, or stop there to a dessert for dinner. Will be back."
