"This was our first time at Pizza Heaven and it was amazing. The service was great, server attentive AND child-friendly. My son felt comfortable ordering his own food (5.5 years old) for the first time! The older kids ordered too. The food took a little long, BUT came out piping hot and gluten free separately! The only CON is I wish I would have known about their gluten free dessert menu before getting/eating our meals. It would have taken too long to wait for the desserts to be made. Other than that, I highly recommend! Everyone enjoyed their lunch and prices were incredibly reasonable. Dietary restrictions: They have a whole separate gluten free menu, with the rest of the menu marked as vegan friendly. Additional gluten free items found in the “pasta bar”."

"We have been through Scranton twenty-or-so times over the years, but because we usually drive on a Sunday or Monday, Eden Vegan was always closed. We were finally able to experience this lovely little vegan restaurant today. My spouse had a cheeseburger and really enjoyed it. I had the ABC panini, which was as good as previous reviewers claimed. The presentation of the food, meaning the garnishes and sauces, is what sets this restaurant apart. The food is relatively low in salt and satisfying without being greasy. I want to try the teriyaki rice next time. I appreciated that reusable metal utensils were provided. I also really liked the vegan stickers decorating the bathroom. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-10"

"The food here is consistently fresh, and the menu is extensive with a wide variety of excellent dishes. Their pizza is particularly tasty, and the sandwiches are made with pizza dough bread, adding a unique touch. One of my personal favorites is the chicken roll, which comes in a pizza dough shell filled with chicken, spinach, and garlic, paired with marinara sauce for dipping. The linguini with white clams is among the best you'll find in the area, and the eggplant parmigiano is exceptional as well—it's a healthier option since it's neither breaded nor fried. I’ve been visiting this restaurant for many years, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal."

"When out of town for work, I stopped into this restaurant. When I arrived I parked in their parking lot nearby. I walked in and was greeted by the hostess. The restaurant was pretty nice and I decided to sit at the inside bar. Liz and another young lady were my bartenders. I started with the pinot nior amd it was tasty. For my meal, I got the cavatelli con gamberi, which was jumbo shrimp, and switched the cavatelli for pappardelle. It came out after about 20 minutes. When I dug in, the food was good! I added a little salt and hot pepper flakes. The bill wasn't too bad. All in all I had a good experience."

"We hired Posh to cater our off-site wedding this past October. I 'll begin with the disappointment we faced with the menu sampling, done on site at their restaurant in Scranton. I was originally told by Josh that we would be able to have a total of six people for the tasting, with the possibility of adding extra people at an additional cost. I confirmed with him over email that we would have eight total, and made the reservation for us to come in and try our menu items. The tasting comes along, and I could not believe how rude Josh was to me. Other members of my party arrived before me, and when I walked in before even INTRODUCING himself to me, he informed me that I had never told him to expect eight people and it would be impossible to do the tasting for that amount of people. I pulled up the email chain right there and showed him where I had expressed this information to him. Without saying anything, he walked away. We were all fed, so I assume it wasn 't actually impossible. Nevertheless, he never came out to see what we thought about the food and never followed up by email. I had to reach out with changes. I wish now that we had found another local caterer and hadn 't ignored these warning signs. But, we had used Posh for an on-site event before and they had done a fine job. We thought our wedding would be the same. So, let 's talk about the wedding reception. Josh had told us he would be out to the wedding site the day before to set up the catering tent and walk through specifics. This never happened. He didn 't show up until right before the start of the event with very little communication leading up to his arrival. We had a number of designated outlets that he requested for food warmers, and yet he used zero of these. The food was cold and the portions were miniscule. The short rib entrée at the sweetheart table was served without the sauce. Just a few small sliced ! pieces of meat that were not tender enough to be called five house braised short ribs. I would have sent them back if we had been simply out for dinner, but the fact of the matter is that it took so incredibly long for the courses to be served to everyone and after well over 90 minutes I didn 't want to spend any more of my wedding sitting at a table waiting for mediocre food. In hindsight, I wish I had taken photos of what we were served. While our table was supposed to be served first, I had to ASK to be served both the pasta and salad course. We were told we had to be seated at our table in order to be served, and yet even with us sitting and not visiting with guests, I had to get up and ask a server to bring us a salad, as they had almost completely finished bringing salads to the rest of the tables. Unfortunately, since the service timeline was not observed and dinner took so long to finally make it to our table, we were unable to do the table rounds we had planned to do before the cake cutting. We missed out on being able to speak to all our guests because we were waiting for cold short ribs without the sauce. Not to write a diatribe, but if you are considering having them cater an off-site wedding, it is helpful to share what exactly you might miss out on. In a review my mother left elsewhere, Josh responded that many guests stopped by his tent to complement the food. Out of all the vendors who were complemented by our guests to us, the caterer was NOT one of them. I can only assume that if this were true, our guests were doing this out of kindness and not because they were impressed by the quality of the service or the food."

"Nice little place to eat. They offer daily specials, soups and dessert. Take-out available too. Pizza, hoagies, fries, salads. Reservations recommended but I say definitely required. There are only about a dozen tables. They pack it in almost non stop. This place has good food, fresh made in the kitchen you can see through the archway behind the counter. There's 3-4 parking spots on the pad in front of the building. Only on street parking otherwise. Cash is recommended but credit cards accepted. It's a BYOB establishment. Will go back. Will recommend."

"First time visiting. Let's get straight to it. Food: A+ Service: A+ Ambience: A+ From the reservation phone call onward was very professional. I spoke with Douglas. Awesome person. Every staff member took the time to explain everything. The Hot/cold buffet was excellent. Some reviews I read said it was small. It's smaller because this is a steak house remember. The buffet is well layed out with great choices. Cheeses, breads, vegetables..Excellent. Alcohol Adult drinks were excellent. Recommend the Passion Fruit Caipirinha and Raspberry Caipirinha. (They did not skimp on the rum) Definitely will be visiting again."

"I just wrapped up another stop on the South Carolina BBQ trail, and this time I experienced authentic Eastern Carolina BBQ for the first time. It was incredible! The pulled pork had a fantastic vinegar flavor, enhanced by red pepper flakes. The "hot gravy" was delicious, especially over pork rinds and the pulled pork. I found the liver hash to be quite unique. I’m accustomed to the hash served down in the Lowcountry, so this version was a refreshing change. I enjoyed it, though. Of course, all the classic South Carolina BBQ sides were available. The restaurant itself is a charming little spot with plenty of seating and great decor. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I felt like a regular, even though it was my first visit. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're a BBQ enthusiast or simply a casual diner looking for a satisfying meal! Plus, at $13 per person for an all-you-can-eat buffet, it’s an outstanding deal!"

"The waiter we had seemed indifferent to providing good service. He brought just one glass of soft drink for two people and when we ordered cappuccinos—one without foam—the drink was spilled all over the cup. We had to ask for the second coffee after he initially forgot it. As for the food, it took over 30 minutes to prepare, even though it was a Tuesday and there were only three tables occupied, including ours. The scrambled eggs looked a bit off and seemed to be lacking oil or butter, almost as if they were made with water! When I asked for butter, the waiter misheard and thought I said water. It was as if he was in a hurry, bringing us butter from another table, which made us and the other customers uncomfortable. Most of the time he seemed to be wandering around trying to look busy when there wasn't much to do. He also forgot to bring the juice that was included with my dish, and he never checked in with us to see if everything was okay while we were waiting for our food. Honestly, this restaurant isn't worth it, especially with so many other places nearby offering better food quality, service, and ambiance. I give it two stars out of sympathy for what could have been a great place. I felt particularly bad because a young lady who brought the bill seemed genuinely invested in the business, which made me think that the waiter might either be a family member uninterested in doing well or just not motivated to provide good service. I don't plan to return and wouldn't recommend it. My husband, who is usually easy to please, noted the poor service too, which says a lot."

"Abe’s is one of my favorite places in Scranton. Actually it is probably my favorite deli anywhere. Wonderful pastrami Ruben sandwich and I always get the tabouli salad. Potato pancakes are also amazing. If you want a delicious lunch when you are in Scranton, make sure you give it a try."

"My husband and I ate here today after going to the winery across the street. We never been here before. The food was absolutely top shelf! My husband had the crispy gnocchi with pee pesto! I had the chicken marsala over risotto! We also had the mozzarella sticks and their sauce was fantastic! You could taste the freshness! Presentation of all the dishes, atmosphere, and service were absolutely five star! We are definitely coming back again and bring your friends and family!"

"My boyfriend and I originally came to scranton for a birthday trip for myself.. we had dinner plans somewhere else where we have gone several times before.. we did NOT enjoy this time around so he wanted to save the night and find something to make up for it.. he looked on Google and came across AV Restaurant and from the minute we walked in we were greeted with smiling faces.. The place was super busy so my boyfriend and I relaxed with a drink on their comfy couches while we waited for a table to open up.. not long after we were greeted by our waitress Kaidyn who was outstanding, she made our first time experience that much better.. she told us what we should pick out of choices we gave her and she did not disappoint as everything was so delicious.... we can't wait to come visit again soon"

"Such an iconic Texas Weiner place.. I've been going for almost 50 years.. However just going there yesterday Monday, June 10 My girlfriend and I got 2 hotdogs and 2 hamburgers to go.. We got home and couldn't wait to dig in. I don't know what happened but they were absolutely inedible.. They were spicy Burned dry concoction that had the taste and smell of Old food. We each ate one and I myself be ame Sick to my stomach a few hours later as I tried to go to sleep. Ended up being up 1/2 the night getting sick. So glad it out of my system. I don't know how I could ever try one again.. Sad how things change for the worst ?"

"I called for takeout for lunch a few days ago, ordered two Greek salads without cheese, spinach pie, and grilled chicken. "Worst place to order food.
