"The food was amazing ? ?At first, me and my wife weren't sure about it. When we walked in, we originally weren't greeted at all. We had to figure out ourselves that the seating was up to us.It was super busy though! So it was totally understandable not enough staff for the rush we got into.We got all the basics pancakes, their potatoes House Fries O'Brian for me , French toast with eggs and bacon.Absolutely worth the wait, and the price? Honestly they should be charging more. It was SO GOOD. We absolutely adore this place ? ?Its our go to spot now, and we're definitely comming back again! Don't forget to grab a pint of rice pudding on the way out! It's just as good!!"

"The ambiance at the restaurant was really lovely; we decided to sit at the bar. The whipped ricotta was incredible, and the salad was tasty, but my boyfriend found his pizza sauce to be somewhat bland. As vegetarians, we were pleased with the menu options available. However, the highlight of our experience was the mixologist behind the bar. She was truly talented and took our preferences into account. Without a doubt, it was the best cocktail I've ever had in Scranton, and it could very well be one of the best I've ever experienced. I wish I could remember her name, but I do recall that she used eucalyptus bitters in the drink. I was genuinely impressed by her skill—it was both delicious and refreshing without being overly sweet."

"I haven't had the chance to try her pizza yet, but I've ordered from this place twice, and it was fantastic both times. I highly recommend it for lunch, dinner, or just a quick snack! The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious! I'm excited to try their vodka pizza sometime soon!"

"Ive been a customer of Chicanos for over a decade. The beef burrito and chips and chipotle feel more like home to me then any hoagie or chicken wings. Chicanos is a straight up local business. Watched his kids grow up over the years. Food has never disappointed. (Look out for the spicy carrots occasionally in the burritos. My favorites in order Chips and chipotle Horchata Beef burrito Fish enchiladas Chicken or pork tacos Flautas My wife aspires to make guacamole like there's. If I had a complaint, it's that they're closed Monday. (Give them a break. Family needs time together. But that Tuesday burrito becomes that much better."

"If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that taste like someone’s abuela (grandmother made it, THIS IS YOUR SPOT. I grew up eating Mexican food from my friends houses my grandmothers friend (this food right here is the real deal !! The food always tastes fresh the texture is always just right (including the produce . The serving size is fullfilling (most of the times I take some home as left overs . Their horchata is my favorite in this area, it’s an exceptional balance of spices and sweet. I’ve had some that had an overload of spice, making this place my favorite place for a large horchata! Give their pina colada a try also if that’s your thing, you’ll be please. The service and atmosphere is so welcoming and warm (amazing place to go eat with family yes even toddlers, this is one place you won’t feel judged for having a 2 year old that acts like a two year old. I’m not sure which days but they do have a professional mariachi band play, that really sets the mood. You’ll feel like you’re in Cancun! The only con: if you’re with a group of more than 4 you’ll be seated by the door (during cold days it kinda sucks this place gets a 9 10 from me, but deserves the 5 stars, go visit! "I visited Adezzo for the first time last night, and I can confidently say it won't be my last visit! The latte was fantastic and even had a heart-shaped design in the foam! The atmosphere was perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the owner was exceptionally nice. And I can't forget to mention the amazing peanut butter cookie that was as big as my head—absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place!"

"My boyfriend and I just bought a house here. We are quickly discovering Scranton food is … weird. This pizza is one of the better pizzas we’ve had (out of maybe 12 pizzerias). We ordered NY style since he lived there as a boy and frankly the other pizza had American cheese on it, which is disgusting. There was this weird flavor though specifically with the cheese. It tasted like Kraft Mac N Cheese powder! Why does everything here have the flavor that it once came from a box? This is not the apocalypse yet guys. Additionally, they clearly use jarred garlic rather than fresh when ordered on (the other) pie. It tastes super sharp. Everyone in Scranton seems to be getting away with mediocrity. I don’t see this is sustainable. This place was okay otherwise though. Great crust. Okay sauce. Mostly good cheese."

"My clients picked this spot for lunch and they ordered online. I ordered the salmon teriyaki. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and apparently spoke to the wrong person because he basically ignored me. When the lady server came out she greeted me and took my name and payment. Another nice lady came out and said the food would be ready soon. The food came out after about 5 more minutes and the nice lady handed me everything. When I got in I ate and the salmon was ok and so were the vegetables. I had a decent experience."

"I had a great experience at this small diner-style restaurant. They offer a hamburger or Texas wiener, fries, and a drink for an affordable price of just $10. The setup is cozy, with both bar seating and tables available. Plus, they serve breakfast all day, which is a nice touch. An added bonus is their use of Toast POS, allowing you to pay easily using a QR code on your receipt. "We arrived on time for a dinner reservation and were seated immediately. Actually we were the only diners there at the time. There was a wedding reception at Tracks, the casual bar in the same elegant waiting room of the former DLW station, which was rather energetic. Our waiter assured us the reception would be over by which it was. Then there was peace and quiet. The staff was very attentive with at least one staff member watching the dining area at all times in case service was required. The food was excellent as was the service. While our meals were not inexpensive, I considered them to be inline with a fine dining experience"

"LEFT HUNGRY. I thought that maybe my bad experience was just an off night since it was a busy friday night, but based on similar recent reviews it seems like a trend. My boyfriend and I ordered a veggie burger Street tacos with 1 beer. The beer never came after about 10 minutes, another waitress walked by and we asked about it, and was told “oh yeah we were out of that one”, which is fine but the waitress didn’t think to come tell us? Our food took 50 minutes to get to the table. Understandable on a busy night, but a table of 4 arrived 15 minutes later than us got ALL of their food 10 minutes before us. When the food arrived, the food was so mediocre. I understand that a veggie burger is completely different than a real burger, but it had zero taste. I had to ask for garlic sauce to get any flavor on it. I’ve worked in restaurants for the last 8 years and am VERY understanding of rough nights, but likely my first and last time here. Was not worth the wait or the money :"

"We always have an amazing dining experience at Sibio's Restaurant! From the moment we walk in, we are greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. Every dish we select is delicious, and you really can't go wrong with any selection. The variety on the menu is fantastic, offering something for everyone. Our favorite, go to dishes are Marinated chicken on the bone, lamb chops, strip steak with mushrooms,, salmon, shrimp scampi, crab cakes, short ribs, homemade gnocchi, wedge salad, spinach salad, house salad, spring salad, calamari appetizer, clams on half shell, steamed clams, caesar salad, seafood salad.And don't even get me started on the homemade desserts—they are to die for! Each dessert is crafted with care and tastes like a slice of heaven. Our favorites are chocolate mousse cake, blueberry tart with vanilla ice cream, peanut butter/chocolate pie, carrot cake, and rice pudding. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service. My mother and husband can dine here every day!"

"Wonderful experience! The service was excellent and the food even better! The calamari, as the evening app special, was nicely prepared n a light coating and a generous portion. The short rib entree was so tender and enjoyed very much. The short rib ragu, served over pappardelle pasta, was very filling but I ate the whole bowl anyway; just too good to leave any behind. I'm sure it was all made from scratch and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend and we will return."

"We came in and were seated accordingly. Our waiter explained how their menu works and gave us some time to look over it. I can say that my drink was amazing. Unfortunately the food took a very long time to come out but it also really wasn't that good. The meat on some of the sandwiches we got tasted reheated. The chicken was very rubbery. I had the pizza, which was good and the soft pretzel was good as well. Everything else that we had really wasn't all that great. This is a hard review for me because I've had high hopes for the place for a long time and finally got the chance to eat there. The staff is amazing and friendly....the drinks we awesome...but the food didn't live up to the rest of the place. Maybe they were just having a bad night...it did seem to get busy after we arrived. "while I was gone for work, I found this place for dinner and drink. When I arrived, I parked in front. When I came in, I took a place at the bar. mia was my bartender and she was nice. I started with a pinot nior and it was good. then I ordered the crab filled salmon with ties. it took about 15 minutes to get out. when it was, it looked great. I dug in and it was sooo good. the aromen were perfect and I loved the salmon and crab combination. when mike was eating, the innocent came to me. I gave him high compliments because he is also one of the chefs. the bill was about $43. I really enjoyed my time and will."

"Went here for my boyfriends birthday dinner , waited almost 10 minutes to be seated they put us in the parking lot with the sun beating on us , got up to move to indoors finally they let us sit on the patio . We ordered our food and drinks and the food took an hour to come out we asked our server how much longer it was going to be he shrugged his shoulder and said I don’t know and was laughing and said he would find out how much longer because we have already been waiting about 50 minutes at this point , he comes back and tells us another 6,8,10 minutes. It came out in 7 minutes and wasn’t that great , wasn’t really hot. Server seemed like he didn’t care he said kitchen was backed up and somebody was on vacation . Many other customers were also complaining about the wait time as well . This was a horrible first experience. Probably won’t go back ."

"I was reluctant to post anything on this site and also this is the first time in my almost 60 years of life I have done so. But it came down to what's right and what's wrong. I ordered the party pack which is 2 orders of wing bites and a pizza for a meal 40 dollars. Plus I ordered a third order of bites which brought my bill to like 55$. I ordered all the bites mild because of personal preference but mainly because of stomach issues. The bites were no where near being mild and that is 3 people that were beyond let down and left hungry because of stomach issues. I have NEVER ONCE called any restaurant to voice my displeasure and have been eating at Nina's since chestnut st. But after calling the restaurant and asking for the manager, I spoke to some young lady and was told that they recently changed their sauce and it is what it is. I WAS SHOCKED!!! I don't want anything that's not mine and I will NEVER look for a hand out. But after looking forward to something that my family and I have enjoyed for years and years and getting the response that it is what it is and I have to take it on the chin!!! VERY DISSATISFIED!!! And if you changed your sauce I would have liked that you let people know that. It's allot of money and just take it on the chin and very disheartening knowing that the customer definitely isn't right even when they been ordering food for 30 plus years!!!!"

"Tonight was not my first night at the Backyard Ale House, but it WAS my first time having their food. The sandwich I had was REALLY good...like to the point where i had to put down my sandwich and text my friends and tell them how good it was. I had the Midtown Melt and the Strawberry Lager. The service was really quick as well. My friend and I went to the Backyard Ale House around 6:30pm before we saw Kinky Boots just around the corner at the Scranton Cultural Center at 8pm. We were in and out in about an hour give or take, without even telling them we were in a semi-rush to catch the show. We didn’t need to. The service was THAT good. I’ll definitely be back :"

"Stopped here while travelling and got a Buffalo Cauliflower sub (with the poblano bbq sauce instead of the hot sauce, but I added back some of the same sauce from the bottles of table hot sauce at the counter). They have a huge selection of subs, and I was really happy there were so many different vegetarian choices. My sub was very good, the ingredients were all fresh, and the bbq sauce was delicious. They really pack the fillings in. I also got a coconut and sweet corn punch from the cooler, which is full of unique juice drinks made by them. I loved the punch, it kind of reminded me of horchata with a little bit of tanginess from the corn, and it wasn't too sweet. Everyone in my family was also very happy with their subs (Cranberry Turkey and one of the chicken subs).They were busy, and it seemed like they were a little backed up on phone orders, but since we ordered at the counter to dine in they made our subs relatively quickly. The place is tiny there are three or four small tables (that seat 2 4) and not much standing room for waiting, but the decoration is cute and has the feel of a loved local establishment."
