"This review should really be ZERO stars. One of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. I was here around 8 pm ET on the evening of 10/28/23. The drive through was backed up into the street and there were more than a dozen patrons waiting inside for food they had ordered via the mobile app. There was no one working at the counter! Food was being made by the kitchen and placed on to the mobile pickup kiosk but no one was there to distribute it to customers. At least two staff members walked by the crowd of people waiting for their food, inquiries were made and in both instances these staff members threw up their hands and said either “my shift is ending” or “I can’t help you.” Finally, after some screaming in the kitchen someone came out and started handing out the orders from the mobile pickup kiosk. I waited over thirty minutes to collect 10 items of food; after I finally received the order, and arrived home, two of the items I ordered were missing entirely. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised given how poorly the business is run. Avoid this location, it’s absolute chaos and very clear that staff members don’t care about customers. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. "Ben’s is as local bar as it gets. We stop in on bike or just go over for Fri or Sat night prime rib dinner. Everyone knows Tater and she can cook and always takes great care of us. Good drinks and great people hangout here. From tenderloin sandwich to prime rib great bar food. Place makes. You feel like thrown back to 60-70’s bar atmosphere. Also can set outside on patio. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"The food is interesting, I like the idea of different loaded empanadas. The portion for the rice was really small. The empanadas themselves were tasty, especially the asian one. Just a bit disapointed the resturant didnt fufull our order. We were missing a green sauce, red sauce and two sour creams. We also requested utensils, didnt get any; didnt even get straws for the soda."

"This restaurant has the best pizza in the city, hands down. The crust is top-notch and the tomato sauce is delicious. The food is always fresh and the atmosphere is casual, with a small, well-lit and clean space. The staff is friendly and they have a soda fountain with affordable refills. There is outdoor seating in the summer, a unisex toilet, and additional seating in the back. I have been coming here for 14 years and it still has the freshest and best pizza in town. They also offer desserts like cannolis and cheesecakes, fresh zeppoles on weekends, and you can get a free cake with 10 box vouchers. They serve soups, lasagna, baked ziti, spaghetti, and everything is always fresh. This is my favorite pizza place in town!"

"This place is terrible. They packaged my food so carelessly it spilled everywhere. Everytime I go there I have to wait twenty minutes to get my food after I already call in and give them almost an hour everytime. And the shrimp parm was absolutely disgusting. The sauce was greasy and the breading was mushy and gross on the shrimp. This pizza place sucks."

"This restaurant is highly over-priced, especially considering the quality and portion sizes of the food. They charge nearly $11 for a steak tip salad that includes just four small pieces of steak along with some lettuce and cucumber. I called to confirm this, and to my surprise, the staff member confirmed it without hesitation. I will definitely be sharing my experience with everyone I know!"

"The food here really used to be great 20 yeara ago . Ithas gradually degraded into some of the most disgusting food I 've ever payed for . The meats they use now are hideous and do not taste like beef or chicken but rather like some laboratory created amalgam of fat ,skin and unnatural substances. Our health inspectors are obviously doing nothing similar to the rest of civil service and governmental agency suffering from rot within . I could go on forever.... dont not eat this garbage"

"This is what I do whenever I travel—I try the local food spots. Just like others have mentioned, it’s a hit or miss, and unfortunately, this was a miss. We were the first customers in the morning, and the woman seemed uninterested that we came for food. She wasn’t friendly and barely answered my questions about the dishes. If you care about your money and want food that’s worth it, I suggest going somewhere else. We ordered the curry goat and pork with rice and beans. The photos other people post are accurate. Consider yourself warned. I’m from the South, and this doesn’t even compare to the quality of gas station food down there."

"The pizza here is fantastic, and I really enjoy the flavor of the sauce. I understand that the restaurant has had some difficulties with delays, so orders can take a little longer at times. However, the food is definitely worth the wait! The prices are also very reasonable!"

"This was our second visit to the restaurant. Tonight, I tried the chicken parm hero, and it was fantastic! The bread was fresh, there was an abundance of chicken cutlets, and the sauce and cheese were delightful. It was so large that I could only finish half of it. My husband opted for the Fried Feast, which included fried shrimp, flounder, and calamari. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it came with a generous portion of fries. I really wish I had taken a picture of it! We're excited to return again—it's great to have such a wonderful place so close to home."

"GREAT place to eat. Great place to relax and watch small planes fly in and out. My wife and I were there today. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. It was reasonably priced for homemade food. They will customize your meal to your liking. Its only open till 230pm. Spring go to 330pm. We had eggs, bacon on a roll with homemade fries. We also had dessert. German chocolate cake and cin rolls. You can order from their menu for breakfast or lunch. We noticed young couple older couple all ages and size. Spoke to Joe briefly. Down to earth, Great individual who takes time to talk to customers. Go once . You will be hooked."

"The fries were soggy and mixed in with regular French fries. The pickles had an odd taste, even though I paid an extra $0.55 for them, and the meat seemed questionable. Overall, it was the worst $18 burger I've ever had, honestly!"

"Let’s start with the portion size. At $9, I expected a meal sufficient for one person. Unfortunately, my wife's meatball and marinara was watery, lacked seasoning, and was overwhelmingly bland, with very little meat. The chicken Alfredo was similar; it had no seasoning and hardly any chicken at all. Both dishes were smothered in cheese, but that doesn't count as seasoning. If you decide to visit, I recommend sticking to the subs and pizza, along with the sides. It pains me to leave this review, especially since it's a small business with wonderful staff, but I feel it's important to share this experience. I would advise against ordering the pasta—you might end up disappointed."

"AWESOME deli... Something for EVERYONE here!! PERFECT place to stop for lunch/snacks on the way to the beach. Your only problem will be choosing from the MASSIVE number of options available... hot/cold sandwiches/heros, along with a great variety of hot breakfast and lunch choices. We got the All American hero with roast beef and mozzarella and a Greek salad wrap, along with drinks and snacks to take to the beach (Smith Point is just a couple of miles away... . Reasonably priced with quick and friendly service!! MAN I miss delis like this back in Ohioooooooo!!! Take all your convenience store chains (this is a block away from a 7-11 I 'll take a good, reliable, family-run L.I. deli any day of the week!!"

"I wanna start off by saying there's nothing wrong with the food. The hero I got was great and the guy who made it (Francisco i think) was really nice about it. But that place is SEVERELY understaffed.I was basically the only guy waiting on food in there for 25 minutes. right after i ordered the dude had to take an order on the phone and the girl was helping someone making a catering order in person.The pizza counter was completely empty for my duration there because apparently the guy who works there also does his own deliveries Which is a shame because I would have ordered from there too.Also apparently only one person can use the register there?In conclusion, Food is great, staff is friendly. But I don't think it's worth the wait, I probably won't be going there again."
