Good portions for price value, but I was given a well done burger instead of medium well and it was so tough and dry. The fries were fine, but I was pretty underwhelmed with the quality of this burger. I probably wouldn’t revisit this item on the menu but I would likely return to try something else. "we had a good meal, but no great meal. the escaped come with an salate that is beautiful. the appetizers tasted great, but the portions were fair. when we told our waiter our entrees, I asked if I could change the side of the kartoffel on pasta, the waiter gave me the impression that it was difficult to make the substitution. he said he would try to see if the cook would do it. that was an Italian restaurant! that surprised us. I ordered the ny strip steak who was one of the specials of the day. the waiter always said it was the heavens! for it should be the heavens. it was very good, but not amazing. it was very thin and quite dry. the pasta was nothing special. overall it was good and would go back."

I feel like a king in this castle. if that were the first class, they wouldn't be in debt. the service is beyond the accusation. the personal sang happy birthday to our friend kari. as if that were not enough, they allowed me to play dj. this year our sixth consecutive visit to the union white castle marked for Valentine's Day. No wonder that my wife and I are still together! I haven't even mentioned eating yet! this restaurant must be among the most consistent I have ever confessed. they know what they get and they know it will be good!"

"The venue for the YMCA's Tricky Tray was quite nice, with around 300 people in attendance. Appetizers were served in the center of the room, including a large shrimp cocktail. The hot food selection was generally good, although I found the chunks of meat in brown sauce to be tough for my taste. On the bright side, the carved turkey and roast beef were quite enjoyable. I especially loved the fettuccine with shrimp, sausage, and peppers. There were additional dishes on the buffet that I didn't have a chance to sample. The open bar offered some great drink options as well!"

"I have been ordering from Mama's for years and I have noticed a decline in quality every time I return. When they first opened, the food was fantastic! Even when they expanded to a second location, the food was still excellent. However, my last two experiences have been disappointing. My order was incorrect when I used Uber Eats, and the food I received two days ago was terrible. I ordered the fried shrimp dinner and was disappointed to find that the shrimp was overly salty, the mac and cheese tasted like a generic brand, and the candied yams were undercooked and hard. I have never had yams this tough before, and they weren't even sweet. I am now on the search for a new soul food restaurant as I expect better quality for the price. I would give Mama's two stars, but the food did not meet my expectations."

"I am not one to give a google review, but I picked a hotel with a bar next door so I could have a few drinks. I took my wife and mother next door to have dinner and drinks. We gave our drink orders first. Long Island, diet mtn dew, a diet dew double gin, and a Corona. Then after looking over the menu we put in our food order. Our waters did show up. Our food came and still no alcoholic drinks. We ate our dinners and still no alcoholic drinks. As I watched the game and the bar for my drinks. I watch 4-5 people go to the bar and get drinks. The sad part is I was prepared to spend 200-300 on food and drinks but walked out with a $35 bill and I still tipped $7 the tip should have been $65 with what I was going to spend. Now I would have thought management would have stopped by when they had to remove the drinks we never received from the bill, but no, now I am sitting in my hotel having drinks. Maybe locals know something I don’t. But I saved enough to pay for the hotel, so thank you."

"Gentlemen that was taking My order Which had his hat backwards Had the odacity to tell me as I was leaving To say thank you to him because he told me where the garbage can was. First of all I did say thank you he just didn't hear me. And whether or not a client says thank you or not you have no right to approach a client and say that to him. Wingstop has to have a little bit more professionalism of workers working at their establishment. And I'm going to write a letter to the company itself on that approachment of that employee. I will never go to this wingstop store again and will definitely tell all my friends that go here not to buy from here again. I would never say that to a customer even if he didn't say thank you to me, I would keep it to myself. That was very rude of him to say that to me as I was leaving."

My wife had the Philly cheesesteak and mentioned she would definitely order it again, but with mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar next time. "I had always seen this restaurant near my daughter's college, but never tried it until last night. It was amazing. The waitress was very friendly and attentive to our table. The food was so delicious that I forgot to take pictures. My daughter and I ordered a large breakfast plate with pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage, as well as a chicken platter with fries and two soups. I tried the lentil soup, which was superb, and my daughter loved the chicken noodle soup. I also had a Sea Breeze drink, which was perfectly made. The entire meal was prepared perfectly, and I will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu. I highly recommend this place. I have been back several times since my first visit, and my most recent visit on a Tuesday night was the best experience yet. Our server, Marcela, went above and beyond from the start. She was warm, friendly, and extremely attentive. She provided excellent service, even bringing us cups with metal lids. Thank you, Marcela, you were fantastic. You definitely earned the 25% tip I left. Five stars."

They charge extra for fries and typically you can count your friesThe ingredients they put also be minimal as they literally count them. Anything that you order with avocado is usually small pieces of it which makes no sense if I’m paying for it. Some workers have the meanest attitude as you’re bothering them. "Today, my brother, niece, and I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We sat down and asked the waitress about their selection of Portuguese beers, to which she responded with "I don't know." We ordered shrimp and fried calamari with garlic. The calamari tasted like rubber and the portion sizes were small. We were disappointed with the service and the waitress had a bad attitude. We decided to leave without finishing our meal. It's no wonder the place was empty, as I doubt they receive many tips with that kind of service."

"As for the food, the boneless wings we ordered were extremely tough—I could barely break them apart with a fork. They were only lukewarm and seemed overcooked, so I ended up sending them back, which is something I rarely do. They were probably the worst wings I've ever had. The remade wings were a slight improvement but still seemed overcooked. I found myself peeling off the breading just to eat the center, which was only somewhat edible. We spent $50 on boneless wings and cheese fries, and we barely finished half of it. With better options a mile away and more places opening up, I seriously doubt I’ll return, even though I wish I could support this local spot. "Food was excellent ?. Service was great. We ate in the restaurant and found it to be clean and enjoyed overlooking the common through the windows. We had a pepperoni, meatball, green pepper pizza. The crust was on the thinner side, sauce and cheese were great, and toppings were plentiful especially the pepperoni. We also got a Caesar salad which had some grape tomatoes, cucumber, and shredded mozzarella in addition to the romaine and croutons. Caesar dressing was good quality and we got two containers of it so there was plenty. The salad came with a warm soft garlic bread which was a pleasant surprise. Lived here 8 years, it's a shame we just finally tried this place. We'll definitely be back."

"Let me start by stating I have 2 reviews, one for the gazebo and one for the restaurant. It's sort of hard to tell the gazebo is anything but a gazebo till you get up close and see there's a circular bar with a bunch of wonderful people from Union enjoying their drinks and beautiful weather. I was having trouble getting in the right door due to the width of my wheelchair, and it took 2 guys to force the left door which probably hasn't been opened in 10 years, but once I was in everyone cheered. The people were very friendly, the bartender lady was overly generous in her drink pours (be prepared to eat something or waiting a while before driving anywhere), and it was my lucky day as a gentleman at the bar graciously bought all mine and my friend's drinks. It's not every day you experience people being that nice for no reason other than that is just who they are. Anyway, the music selection was also particularly memorable. If you like Frank Sinatra, Bill Haley, Johnny Cash, and the most masculine group of guys singing My Girl as if they were in Top Gun, this will be your place.So after drinking the most vodka-filled vodka and tonic, we took our leave to the restaurant. Once inside you are transported to a much different experience that is more European as well as being very cozy and quaint. I forget what my friend had, but I went with the Hunter's Schnitzel that came with French onion soup. The soup was perfect, as in I can't imagine any other person making it better. My meal was equally exceptional, and I went home with a great deal of leftovers. Make sure you get dessert too. I brought home some cheesecake which my spouse very much appreciated. Checker's II is the definition of a hidden gem, so don't wait to plan your visit."
