"I felt like having a burger so I stopped into Spikes famous for dogs, but I noticed they have burgers as well. The first thing I noticed before I even opened the door was the giant suicide hotline poster on the outside of the building. It just struck me as odd. Anyway, I was greeted by friendly person. The place was completely empty. The atmosphere was dark and filled with memorabilia. Not really a place I would want to sit down and eat at. I decided to get a cheeseburger medium rare on the rare side. My food was ready pretty quickly and the price was pretty average about $8. I thought the burger was a good size but a little flat... but NOT cooked at the temp I asked for! It did NOT taste good. It was flavorless and greasy. I was very disappointed but honestly not surprised. So if you are considering Spikes maybe you should try their famous hot dogs. As for me I will probably skip them."

"My husband and I recently visited Providence, Rhode Island, and Cork and Rye in Warwick was the first restaurant we tried after checking into our hotel. The food and service were outstanding! It was so delicious that we decided to return before heading to the airport. We ordered the fish and chips, chicken pesto sandwich, cod fish sandwich, and the chicken wings appetizer, and everything was excellent!"

"Possibly the worst service I have ever experienced. Sat at the bar and you’d think I was invisible. Took forever for someone to acknowledge I was there. Drink came quickly but sat empty for over 30 minutes after I finished it. Finally got some water after my meal. Sat for another 20 minutes after my water was gone… no refills. Finally asked if I wanted dessert. Got the dessert menu then 15 minutes later was asked what I wanted. Aside from the horrific service the food was excellent, except for the beet salad which was lacking goat cheese…bet there was less than a teaspoon of little bits of cheese. Very disappointing."

"we decided that on the holy evening and on the day 2021 we cannot hold a house-sponsored meal. So we decided to check a few local spots after we've been on this for 29 years, we've tried everything. they all ebb and flow, but I can say with confidence that luca has it. we tried the aubergines, garnelenparm, ravioli, salate, broccoli rab (perfect amount of garlic) and a Sicilian torte. the sauce was very sweet and a good homespun tomaten deep rich taste. all in all we were very satisfied. after a beautiful plate, a large glass or two of chianti, they will consider the calendar to see when they will be back we and will be of them for christmas eve."

"We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. Hardly any clams in the clam cake. My husband was excited when he found one clam chunk; sarcastically excited. I remember boasting about how you could stick a spoon straight up in the chowder..not this one it was runny and watery and disgusting. It didn't even taste like clams it tasted like potato soup..barely. The red chowder wasn't even red it was like a mix between clear and red but someone decided to throw in three little canned tomato pieces. The baked scallops were soggy and disgusting and the french fries, even though I know they come frozen, we're nothing to boast about either. The fish n chips disappointed. It used to be a fish that barely fit in the container and now it's a fish that could fit in one side portion of the container. The baked scrod was not bad but it just looked ick. Iggy's threw a small piece of fish in with some squishy side vegetables and some rice pilaf that look like it came out of a bag premade. All of the lemons they gave us were disgusting and smelled like soap and were oily; so we had to throw them out. The only pictures I could take was right before my husband dumped it all down the sink. We had guests for lunch who had never had Iggy's and we must have boasted and boasted about it for hours before it arrived. We spent well over $240 on this order and I feel like we got ripped off big time by Iggy's. We will not come back anymore. I can understand the price hikes and I can understand the economy but I cannot understand changing recipes that made this place famous. I now feel 100% confident that my white chowder is better than theirs any day of the week. And that is something that I would never have said over the two plus decades we have been coming here. Is so sad when a childhood memory turns into an adult nightmare. Do better Iggy's... Just do better. Economy be damned don't screw with the chowder and the clam cakes. After all that's what made you famous and that was the original menu. -Sad and disappointed, Local Oakland Beacher. They're so-called red chowder is picture here and my mother-in-law sink. I should have just set my money on fire."

"This was our first visit and we went for “brunch” with 4 people. Made reservations before arrival and showed up early and was still able to be seated. Seating is a bit small area but still very comfortable and great atmosphere. The menu was small but in my opinion had options for everyone and was unique to the area. We each ordered something different and all of us loved the food and left full and not overstuffed. The adult milkshake and the Pomosa are amazing! The staff were very friendly. I even left my prescription sunglasses behind and they held for me. We will definitely be back."

"Excellent food, and the owner really makes an effort to decorate for the seasons. Jared was our waiter and has be on several previous occasions. All staff are polite, professional, and focused. No complaints and was not rushed out the door once the bill was paid. Relaxed and enjoyable. 5 stars. Vegetarian options: Excellent eggplant dish Parking: Shared with other businesses a little tight on busy nights. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed Wheelchair accessibility: All one level"

"Cafe Tempo has the best bagels and cream cheese I have ever had. Their selection is big and they’re usually well stocked through the morning. Very reasonably priced, especially comparing the quality to chains. The drive through wait can be longer than it looks, but always worth it. If you’re in a rush you can order ahead or go inside. If you get multiple sandwiches, just double check them before you leave the restaurant as we’ve had a few mix ups during busy lunch hours but always very pleased with the quality and whatever we get regardless! A few spots inside and outside to eat or you can sit at their bar inside if you just want a quick bite, but for conversations their patio is your best bet. Also, their bakery selection inside is a must try! Between the danishes and the bagged lemon cookies, you really can’t go wrong."

"I've been a few times once for brunch and once for dinner and trivia. Brunch: got a breakfast burrito and the bottomless mimosa. Both were tasty. The mimosa could have been stronger. Trivia and dinner: got the make your own burger and a forgot to get a picture! Ordered it medium rare and most of it was but some was medium well. That side must of been thinner or their grill isn't even! The indoor space is like any neighborhood bar. Friendly people and standard decor. The women's bathroom is single use but there is a locking separate section for the toilet so someone else could be washing their hands while the next person goes. The outdoor space was well above expectation! The tables and chairs are metal so be warned! The lights and decor are super cute. There is a tv outside and music too. Overall a solid spot!"

"I do not review often, but if I do, the business in question left an impression good or bad. In this case, it 's great. The service and food here is always fantastic. I come from the South and visit there often. Some chains in New England do not replicate the customer service of their southern counterparts. That is not the case with the ever consistent Chick Fil A. They are quick, they have never messed up my order, and they are just as polite and respectful as any location elsewhere I have visited. The my pleasure always feels authentic, and is always appreciated. Keep it up, because it is actually my pleasure every time I come through."

"Friday , May 10th 2024 —-In a picturesque corner plaza in W. Warwick , my husband and I decided to visit a restaurant we hadn 't seen in years. The last time we were there, it was a different place, but now, after a renovation, it looked cozier and more modern. My husband, a discerning coffee lover, tried a cup and, to my surprise, remarked, This is good coffee . He rarely says that about any place. Unfortunately, they don’t serve decaf, so I couldn’t try . I smelled it and it smelled good .We were promptly and kindly attended to, making us feel right at home. The menu was varied, and I was delighted to see they had vegan options. My husband usually opts for the vegan options .During lunch, we noticed a military man dining with someone else. It was heartwarming to see the owner walk up to him, offer him something , and thank him for his service. At the end of our meal, satisfied and smiling, we knew we would return. The warmth of the place and the quality of my husband 's coffee ensured this visit would remain in our memories for a long time"

"Nice place to stop for a meal, during any outing. There seems to always be a wait to be seated, which I guess speaks to how good the restaurant is. We were fortunate and were seated in less than 10 minutes. Our server greeted us right away and was attentive throughout the meal. The food was better than we expected, since we were just expecting basic diner-type food. They have several unique options, and everything we tried was delicious. The only 'bad ' thing is the noise level. The interior doesn 't dampen the sound at all, so there is a lot of background noise, making it difficult to have a conversation. We will be back."

"We dined at Frank Pepe's for the first time and couldn't be more thrilled with our experience! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant was spotless, and the food was outstanding! A special thank you to our waiter, Tyler Z, who was one of the best waiters we've ever encountered. He was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to explain the menu and ensuring that we had no allergies or special food requests. We've never received such attentive service, even at high-end restaurants! We regret not trying Frank Pepe's sooner, and we can't wait to return!"

"I recently visited this coffee shop and was blown away by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and the coffee was expertly brewed. I tried a latte and was impressed by the rich flavor and perfect temperature. The bagles are hand down the best in town to my opinion. Overall, I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a top-notch bagels experience!"

"Wow. We found another treasure in “upstate” NY. Actually top of my list now. Heavy focus on sourcing local farm ingredients. Hand made, classic recipes with a modern twist but not a twist just to twist. The steak sandwich was incredible. The steak was well seasoned and tender (for a non-prime cut steak). The garlic aioli just right (present but not over powering). Homemade baguette had great texture and flavor. Great side of lentil salad. Bamboo straws. Paper take out boxes. These folks care. Friendly service. Don’t change a thing guys. The world needs more restaurants like this."

"We waited a long time for service and never received any menus. Our server took orders from everyone who came in after us while we were left sitting there empty-handed. If a restaurant can't serve its customers, it might as well close. It seems that past performance doesn’t guarantee future results; perhaps your standards have declined, or maybe 90s expectations just aren’t relevant anymore. We’ll be taking our business to Boomerangs instead. Good luck, Ray."

"What is it about Eddie 's? the people..? the food..? yes. It 's a vibe, a feeling, it 's the knowing nod between friends, it 's the slap on the back with an atta boy, it 's the you do you, brother, it 's Eddie. It 's the upstate Village experience of sitting at a table with your favorite cousin who knows everything you 're trying to live down but still laughs about all your best mistakes and that special uncle...you know that uncle....a head scratcher, but he 's still makin it, against all odds. You will leave with a satisfied belly, a smile on your face, a glimmer of hope in humanity and the confidence of knowing there is actually a chef that truly understands what an egg over medium really means and you can order a killer cortado, even though it 's not even on the menu. They got you. And, of course, Lucas is da best."

"My husband and I, and my sister and her husband, went to Tuscan for lunch after going to the Farmers ' Market. My husband and I really liked what we got the Buffalo Chicken wrap and the Humus wrap which we shared. I liked them both. He is not really a Humus person so thought it was good but did not excite him but he liked the Buffalo chicken wrap a lot. My sister got a chicken bacon wrap and thought it was ok ; my BIL got chicken curry apple salad on a croissant and said it was good. I liked the laid back ambience : and would definitely go back. They also see some tshirts and jewelry and I got a nice pair of earrings! The staff was very friendly and the place was clean."
