"When we inquired about watching the National High School Lacrosse Finals, he quickly set it up on a nearby TV—there are plenty throughout the restaurant! The Grumpy Goat offers a diverse menu featuring appetizers, burgers, salads, pizzas, and pastas, ensuring there's something for everyone. We ordered side salads, almond-crusted chicken (which was delicious, crispy, and generously portioned), and a 16-inch pizza (half of which we took home). I also enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio from the Happy Hour menu for just $3. The restaurant has a spacious interior, and it wasn't too crowded when we arrived, although more guests started coming in as we were leaving around 6:15 PM. I would definitely come back, and I want to give another shout-out to Tyler: he was a fantastic waiter—attentive, personable, and offered excellent recommendations!"

"After driving from Omaha we were so excited to finally arrive. The last time we ate in Chicago. Food as always was excellent . I cannot say it about our service . The hostess sat us with our menus and finally after waiting 10 minutes we asked her if we were going to ever get service? She replied to us For What? I had to explain to her all we had was menus and needed to order. It took almost another 5 minutes before we ever saw someone. When we were finally waited on...my husband ordered pizza and I spaghetti . Our server asked if I wanted to have my food before his. I said no and he stared at me like he was spacing off and after a second it registered to him. Worse Service"

"My sister and I went to Hurts Donuts in West Des Moines (my first time). The place is chocked full of Donut Bliss,any type donut you can think of was available !! My sister bought a Dozen (cost $18) I chose 2 of said Dozen, the German Chocolate and Red Velvet Dour Creme Frosting. My sister got regular and yeast raised along with One Peanut butter, one with Butter Finger, and I am sorry to say I have forgotten the rest of her choices (all looked Delicious). I asked for my two to be wrapped separately and the person waiting on us had no problem with the request, in fact she was delighted and very helpful. The hours they are open is 24/7, I asked if that was true and she stated that it is true , they are open ALL DAY AND NIGHT .... Wow,good to know if I or someone is having a Donuts Craving. The place is a little hard to find, be patient, it is worth the hunt. The place had plenty of places for seating, it was clean and tidy. It also has windows so you can observe the crew making the Donuts!! I will be back....Enjoy Hurts Donuts Everyone."

"Unfortunately, the patio area is in terrible condition. There is trash and debris scattered everywhere, along with numerous cigarette butts. The chairs and tables are in disarray. It's a Thursday, so it's not as if a large weekend crowd caused this mess. There are dead leaves and sticks left over from winter, and I counted over 50 cigarette butts on this small patio. There are also McDonald's cups, Chick-fil-A bags, and other garbage littering the ground. It's extremely unappealing and downright disgusting. I expected much more from an establishment in Jordan Creek, and it really detracts from the entrance nearby."

"I feel a little sheepish and ignorant, because we had never ordered a Deep Dish from Coach's before. The Meat pizza we ordered didn't appear to have any toppings other than sauce. I started to cover it with cheese and feed the kids anyways, but my wife suggested I call them and get the Pizza I ordered. They said they were happy to make mea replacement, so I took the original pie back with me to pick it up. I felt like an idiot when they informed me that the meat was stuffed INSIDE the crust of the Pizza. They gave us a new pizza anyways at 9:30pm, and we all agreed it was NEXT LEVEL! By far the best Pizza we've ever had. Thanks guys!"

"My husband and I were out shopping and wanted to try a new place that we had never been to. This was the closest place. Stood at the front for about 10 minutes, not knowing if we should pick our seat or wait to be seating. I didn't notice a sign to tell us, so we patiently waited. Finally, we were told there is a 10 to 15 mins wait. The place didn't look busy at all. Once seated, we noticed 2 areas that were being serviced. Our server had 4 tables already, then include us making it 5 tables to be serviced. Got our drinks fast. Then, we had to wait for her to come back to get our order in. By the time she came back, 2 tables had already left. I ordered a normal cheese burger and fries. My husband wanted a double decker, well done and bacon. We waited a good 20 to 30 mins. By this point, there were 2 tables (including us) left to be serviced. Another server brought out our food. You could tell it was sitting in the window for a long time. Not freshly hot but between cold/warm. My husband burger had pink in the middle, and the bacon was flimsy, not crispy at all. By this point, we're starving, so we eat. Waitress never came by to refill or check on us until we were practically done. My husband said his concerns about burger and bacon, not crispy. She went to go talk to someone and came back and told us they buy their bacon from hyvee, and it's their policy that they will not cook the bacon crispy.....ummm excuse me... I was taken back 5 this comment because we are the customer, and if we ask it to be a certain way, then we should get it our way, especially if I'm paying for it. She never took it off the bill. I was just worried about getting out at this point. I have nothing against the server and as they looked short staffed. So, I try to understand their role. I just felt the experience all together was not the best. This was a one and done place. Never will be back."

"? There?s very few top notch pizza joints in DSM, but 7 Stone is probably by far at the top (if not on the top) of my list in both thin and deep dish style pizza. ? Fresh mozzarella and always fresh toppings, cooked in a woodfire oven. ? It?s great place for family style dining, and we have ordered take out quite a few times from here. The consistency is where it?s at. Always consistent pizza here every time. ? Here?s a couple pics from the last visit. The thin cheese is great. Awesome crispy crust. ? My favorite is probably the deep dish. They might hate me for this reference, but it reminds me of the old Pizza Hut deep dish from the 90s when it was actually good. So much nostalgia. Kinda like the old pan pizzas you would get from the Book-it days ?"

"I had done an online order and they took quite a while to bring out my order. But when they did they acknowledged that it took a while and gave me a free medium mixer card and extra cheese curds. So I can't be too upset as before I even thought to mention anything they were on top of the wait. Other than that they were very polite and the place is usually pretty clean.They are often pretty busy so just keep that in mind."

"If you live close, it's super convenient and priced pretty fairly. The menu selection is limited though, considering there is a literal grocery store worth of food right there. I can only assume the kitchen staff receives no real training and consists of people with a casual interest in food prep but dont want to work at a fast food joint. Most of the staff is very friendly, but not that helpful if you have in depth questions about what is available, wine pairings, etc. I definitely recommend it for the daily specials like half price appetizers, sushi, and wine, and the Sunday brunch is decent too. It's a grocery store diner. As long as that's what you expect, and not high class fine dining, then you get exactly what you pay for and can leave completely satisfied with the experience. I go fairly regularly, as the specials make it worth the visit despite the limited selection."

"I absolutely love everything about this place. The environment, the food and also the employees. Used to be a regular before the pandemic. They were closed for a while and I ended up moving to another side of town. Over 2 years later I came back and they remembered me just by my takeout order. How awesome. "I really enjoyed the X-Christmas roll I had, and the clear soup and salad were excellent as well! I did lower my rating slightly because my partner's rolls (the triple spicy mako combo) didn’t quite meet expectations. However, the specialty rolls are definitely worth trying! I would love to return to try the katsu."

"Jethro's has a large open interior. You can hear each other talk, something too often missing in large restaurants. It has a sports bar vibe mixed with... hmm. Let me think on it. There are approx. 20 tvs surrounding the room. We ordered the Iowa Platter, a sampler of offerings easily big enough for two or three people. They pile on the meats and you pick four sides. The green beans and fried pickles aren't bad, the mac n cheese is homemade and legit. The mashed potatoes are for real, I can't get enough of them. The cornbread muffins are awesome. The only thing that could make them any better is a some jalapeño baked in. The bacon is okay. Thick and sweet, could be cooked a little more. It seems more like pork belly than bacon. The jalapeno sausage is good, nicely seasoned. The chicken, pork, and brisket are all very good. I tried all of the sauces, too. White Sauce: Meh. Spicy Sauce: meh and a half. Signature Sauce: good. Georgia Sauce: perfect on the chicken. Carolina Sauce: great on everything else. The platter great is a bargain, ton of food. It would have been better served on a hot platter to help keep the food warm though. All of the staff did a good job and was courteous. I'm still trying to figure out the second half of the vibe is. Maybe sports bar and trendy brew pub that serves decent food. Yeah, let's go with that."

"The food was typical of a chain restaurant—good but not gourmet. It was above average for an OTB location. However, the service was outstanding, deserving of five stars. My server, Edith, was attentive and quick to address my needs. She took my order as soon as I was ready, without lingering around, and my food arrived hot. My drink was always filled, and my bill was brought to me promptly. Edith was friendly, polite, and maintained a professional demeanor. If the rest of the staff is even half as good as she was (and they seemed to be), this could be the best OTB location I've ever visited. I'll definitely return the next time I'm in town."

"I cannot say enough good things about this incredible restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious, the service is spectacular, and the atmosphere is beautiful. I have been anxiously waiting for a place like this to open up so I could get my fix of authentic Chinese food, and having tried it, I'm not disappointed- If anything it exceeded even my wildest expectations! Even their cocktails and wine list are well thought out with lots of choices, showcasing true quality with each option. Well done Heavenly! "place to hold for gnade and understanding, everyone seems to be short to remember my own experience as waitress, and it is a Friday night. we were not very impressed by our experience. the waiting time did not seem unreasonable (50min. on Friday night at 19:30 o'clock), but there were people who had to wait over an hour, many empty tables, and once another employee came to the door, all sat within 20min. that leads me to believe that there was not good communication behind the scenes. our waiter seemed overwhelmed and liquid, which led to inattentiveness. we had to ask for serviettes, for fillings, and he gave us our scary very soon after we got our food. we were barely halfway through eating. we still went completely away, satisfied with our eating, but disappointed from service- that is not normal. we love red robin and will return in the hope that this experience was only one night. but we hope that better communication and support for service personnel will be implemented."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and were seated straight away. As the Burmese restaurant is in the area, we really looked forward to this experience. While we were in no hurry the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they urged to have a meal order at the same time. We wait to order the food until the drinks have been brought to us. We ordered the Burmese beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (fish noodle soup). The sauces on the meat stews were good, but not spectacular! The stew was definitely not tender. If you like tough meat then these dishes are for you. In addition, the Moh Hin Ga lacked taste and in the words of my colleagues: "I would not order it again". Also soft drinks and iced tea and refilled for free. Given the rush and subpar experience, won't be returning. Given their great Yelp reviews, it seems like there are plenty of customers out there who like it. Maybe we only visited them on a bad day or the normal cook wasn't around that day ..."

"One of the worst roast beef sandwiches I have had, dry, like it was the end of roast, had chunky strips of roast beef that weren't thinly sliced, just not very good. Plus side, curly fries were good and so we're the mozzarella sticks even though theydidn't give me the marinara you normally get with them. Out of unsweet tea too?"

"chipotle in valley west mall, west of the moines, ia I wanted to eat with three others. the staff was very nice, the food was in order, the last time I went a few years ago. but there were no pleasant things, and this restaurant is so dirty. first, the serviettes, the hot sose and salt and pfeffer that were present a long time ago were missing, if they want to eliminate the supply of bottles of hot sose for health reasons, they should provide packages. the same with salt (we asked us were given a small vessel with salt). but every table was dirty, covered with food. floor covered with rice and other food detritus. we asked for a wet wut to clean our table, they brought a dry towel and put everything on the floor. we asked them to wipe off the seats (now covered). I just don't know that there are probably bugs or worse from the dirty floor. never seen a dirty place like that."

"The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained. The first employee who assisted me was friendly and attentive while taking my order. However, halfway through, another employee came in to help. This employee washed his hands with just a quick 5-second rinse under water, without using any soap, and then put on gloves to handle my order. Although he was quick, his work was quite messy and he didn't communicate much. My salad was poorly chopped, and he added lettuce even though I specifically requested only spinach. Additionally, he was not very kind to his coworker and ignored their attempts to collaborate. I understand that things can be hectic during busy times, but it felt like this employee didn't prioritize quality service, unlike the first. Because of this experience, I am giving a three-star rating."
