"Today, on Sunday afternoon, we visited this restaurant for the first time. The menu was quite extensive and included a nice "build your own combo" option. The prices were competitive with other local Mexican restaurants. The decor was vibrant and inviting. The complimentary salsa was delicious. The food portions were generous and well-seasoned. They provided kids' cups, a comprehensive kids' menu, and activity sheets with crayons. The highlight of our experience was the friendliness of the staff; they truly went above and beyond in their interactions with us and other customers. We will definitely be returning!"

"We waited over half an hour for our fried green beans and another half hour for our two salads, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. The fried green beans were decent, and my wife really enjoyed her chicken salad. On the other hand, I loved the flavor of my shrimp, but they were so salty that I ended up leaving four of them on my plate. I only finished the others because we were very hungry. This was our first visit as we like to try different places. As a cook who went to culinary school in Pittsburgh, I find it perplexing why some restaurants over-salt their dishes. Customers can easily add more salt if they want it, as it's readily available on the table. Unfortunately, it seems many places add salt before even tasting their food."

"My favorite Mexican restaurant in Wheeling. I've been going to this place for how long and I just really love their food. I would go here each time I am craving for Mexican foods because they have the best of it in the area based on experience especially their tacos and burritos. There are also times that I honestly experienced something not great but going back and forth to the place for a long time, I got used to it and there are just really times where everything is not good which is basically understandable. I love that the restaurant is consistent to their food and to their prices as well. The food is definitely delicious, full of flavor, fresh and the prices are very reasonable and this is also perfect whenever I am in a hurry or sometimes, I wanted food really fast. It is not something fancy which is really nice and the ambiance of the restaurant is very comfortable. Customer service of the restaurant is also great and the staffs are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is definitely the restaurant that you should not miss to visit here in Wheeling."

"I have been once or twice at this place and it’s never left me amazed by its service. It is a great place for seafood lovers. The options are great. My vegetarian friends if they end up being here with the seafood lovers for a get together or something you will have options and yes not the regular salad but good options like pasta. I would definitely recommend this place for sea food lovers. Vegetarian options: Although this restaurant is mostly famous for sea food, there are still option for vegetarian wherein the meat will be replaced with veggies and they will also make sure to use veggie base in case the original base had meat base."

"We love Spears, and go often. However when we went last night our server was never around. We had to ask multiple times to get refills on drinks, he never checked in on us, and one entree didn't arrive until after everyone else was done with theirs AND we had to ask for it to arrive as our server was not around to know it was even missing, we had to find a manager and leave our table to tell someone that the food was missing. While they did the right thing and took it off our check, it wasn't about the money. We know they were busy, but it was a normal Friday night dinner rush. There is no excuse for the service. We will go back again, but hopefully have a better experience."

"For those with dietary restrictions like myself who have celiac disease, we always make sure to specify gluten-free options and request that they change their gloves. We have never had any issues with gluten cross-contamination. They also offer a vegan tahini option, which may not be as good as the regular one, but is still excellent. Overall, Pita Inn has a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal."

"I typically get the blue mussels with linguine when here cause they are very good. The portion is much more than shown. I just forgot to take a pic til the end. Their prices are very reasonable and I also recommend the wings. They can be busy on the weekends, so you may want to make a reservation. I got a dessert and a beer so it cost a bit more this time"

"It’s Friday night, 7/9/21 around 9pm, I had called to inform Marco’s the wrong pizza was delivered…..the young man, EVAN who checked my order through their system confirmed that I did in fact order a different pizza, he immediately comforted my disappointment by making my problem a pleasant experience —he told me, he “will cook the correct pizza now and have it delivered”. —I just LOVE the fact, I didn’t have to ask to speak to a manger! HUGE THANKS to the young man who took my call, thank you for for your help EVAN! "We ordered carryout for three dishes: lobster meat, Mediterranean whole sea bass, and crabmeat vermicelli. For the lobster meat, we opted for the Cantonese style, which features a stir-fry in soy and pepper sauce. It turned out to be quite delicious, exceeding our expectations. The lobster meat is served with two side dishes. A tip for the best experience is to enjoy the lobster with plenty of rice. The rice absorbs the soy and pepper sauce beautifully, and you can order steamed Jasmine white rice as a side. Since we wanted additional side dishes (like green beans), we cooked a pot of rice at home. We also tried the sea bass prepared in Bob's style, where the fish is steamed in soy sauce. Our daughter isn’t a fan of black beans and olives, so we asked for those ingredients to be omitted. While the sea bass might have looked a bit plain in the photo without them, it actually tasted quite good. Besides Bob's version, the other cooking methods include frying or broiling. I recommend sticking with Bob's version, as steaming best preserves the fish's freshness. Like the lobster meat, it's also best enjoyed with rice. The crabmeat vermicelli features an interesting mix of ingredients, creating a unique flavor combination. The crabmeat is stir-fried with cellophane noodles, bacon, onion, and egg, all cooked in oyster sauce, and it was quite tasty. While the lobster meat and sea bass dishes each included two sides, the crabmeat vermicelli came with just one. Nonetheless, all three dishes were accompanied by two garlic rolls each, and I must say that Bob Chinn's has the best garlic rolls. We have been enjoying Bob Chinn's for many years, both dining in and for carryout. I'm pleased to see that they have maintained their high standards even after the passing of the legendary founder, Bob Chinn, in April of last year."

"What a view it was at the restaurant! Loved sitting there along the Ohio River enjoying my down time with a good friend. We had traveled from PA so it was about a 6 hr drive to get to Moundsville. The only problem we had was the directions to the restaurant as Google does show you driving through the storage facility, so I will have to tell Google to fix that error. Wasn’t sure what to get as I was unfamiliar with the food selections so opted for the poor man’s lobster. And the broccoli soup. Was fine considering I was so hungry I think I would of opted for their steak or hoagies as they looked pretty good. Service was good as the girls are all locals and know their restaurant well. Everyone was super nice and so were the regulars there. We were told by many locals and our hotel to make sure to give Prima a visit and happy we did. We will be back on the next trip!"

"I gravitate toward flavor and typically enjoy seasoned/spicy food. So, when I ordered the Zesty Feta Chicken Wrap, I was expecting a little zip. I was caught completely off guard by the heat in this wrap. Zesty would have been a good description of about 1/4 of the spice in this meal. What I ate tasted more like the lid had fallen off the spice bottle. I 'd compare the spiciness to some Indian dishes I 've had. As I ate it, my eyes watered and my nose ran. I ended up removing some of the spicy feta from the second half of the wrap, and was really only able to finish it because I had sides of cole slaw and fruit to calm my mouth. Spice level aside, the food was good. It came with a bowl of soup. From a few options, I chose chicken tortilla. It contained a lot of shredded cheese and was not spicy. I would have liked a bit more flavor in the soup and way less in the wrap. After I got home, I looked up the menu to see what had made this meal so incredibly spicy. Answer: Tyrokafteri feta. I wasn 't familiar with Tyrokafteri and must have glossed over the word on the menu. For my fellow initiated diners, it 's a spread the features hot chili peppers. You 've been warned. The place a very busy when I was there, but we were seated immediately and the service was pretty fast, though not particularly attentive. It was awhile before our water was refilled and our server never asked if we enjoyed our food, so I never had a chance to mention the extreme spiciness of the wrap. The Original Granny 's has a large menu with all kinds of breakfast and lunch options. I 've been there before, and I 'll be back, but will not order the Zesty Feta Chicken Wrap when I do."

"Wheeling Brewing Company is a relatively new addition to the historic center market district of downtown. It's surrounded by charming antique shops, fantastic restaurants, and other quaint boutiques, with convenient street parking right out front. The menu features items like Hoppy Hummus made with their Moondog IPA, a selection of cheeses, sweet and savory chicken sliders, and options like meatballs and pulled pork sliders. Some of the specials that caught my eye included lobster ravioli and stuffed hot peppers. Everything sounded delicious, but since we had just finished dinner, we only wanted some beer. Fortunately, Wheeling Brewing Company brews seven of their own beers, plus a guest beer from Bridge Brew Works, called Long Point Camp that night. You can choose between a half flight with four beers or the full selection of seven. We opted for the full flight. While we waited for our beers, we enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. It was dark yet inviting, with an exposed brick wall, cool lighting, and an open view of the brewing area. It created a great vibe—definitely a place to enjoy some fun!"

"The food was also excellent, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We both ordered the loaded nachos, and they were just as tasty as they were visually appealing. The drink selection is impressive too, with a wide variety of beers on tap and in bottles, particularly Mexican options, which fits perfectly with the theme. The ambiance of the restaurant is enjoyable, featuring some creative decor, such as sideways doors that serve as an entryway wall. One point to note is that open-concept spaces can create noise issues, and this venue is no different. However, we were still able to hear each other during our visit, though I can’t guarantee that would be the case when the restaurant is busier. Parking can be tricky due to the ongoing construction in the area, but there are parking spots on both sides of the street that typically suffice throughout the day. Overall, Taqueria 304 is a fantastic addition to the area, and I hope they thrive for years to come! "I absolutely love Salata! I only wish they had a location in Glenview. I used to live in Wheeling, so it was very convenient for me. They offer a wide variety of fresh ingredients to choose from for salads or wraps. Their soups are delicious too! "Interesting in a good way. Bagels and cream cheeses are plentiful and flavorful. The reason for the “interesting in a good way” the food and flavors are there all the way. The service displays and process are a little off. 1) displays of bagels: NOPE! The bagels are in a display case however they are in non-see through white plastic tubs labeled by a label maker. I want to actually see what I am buying….I probably would have bought more if I could have seen them. 2) cream cheeses are stack in a cooler case away from the bagels. Again display them nearer each other and I would have bought more. 3) the inside signage is fancy but not clear or together. Just weird. 4) lastly why all the fried food (specials on the kitchen door. I recommend this shop because the bagels were awesome. Just suggest they shop themselves ….In other words look at everything from a customer point of view."

"My family was treated bad and was not allowed to go inside the restaurant since we had a service animal. The owner(Joe) treated us with no dignity and we were expelled from the restaurant stating that our service animal does not have proper documentation and we are interrupting his busy schedule of business.
