"I ordered the three-meat plate and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The brisket was heavily over-seasoned, making it very difficult to eat. The pork and sausage were just okay, but nothing special. The fried okra was a struggle to get through; it was crunchy on the outside but had an oddly slimy texture on the inside, almost like a booger. The green beans were also over-seasoned. I'm not sure what went wrong—I honestly thought I was being pranked. Nothing was juicy or enjoyable about the meal. I really wanted to like this place. I'm sorry to leave such a negative review, but I am currently dealing with significant stomach issues. Please investigate this matter to ensure that no other customers have a similar experience. "Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered chicken wings and witnessed the staff pull out some pre-grilled, nearly burnt wings from the freezer and toss them into the deep fryer for less than five minutes. I requested buffalo wing sauce, but only three out of the nine wings had any sauce on them; the rest were completely dry. Even my dog turned his nose up at them! I would have been better off going to McDonald's. It was just awful. I really hope I don't receive a standard, generic response from their customer service team. Those canned replies are incredibly frustrating and disrespectful."

"So I placed an order on dickeys app, pulled up and this wasn’t even a dickeys, it’s an Asian restaurant of some sort. A ghost kitchen. Every single one of our meals was non edible, the meat was so dry that you can tell they don’t use the same products, the chicken was not even the same as the real location uses. The waiter ignored me while he played on his phone. I don’t know who gave this a 5 star, as this wasn’t even worth a single star."

"The potato baked dish was disappointing, featuring overcooked, dry meat, no butter, only a sprinkle of cheese, and sour cream placed on the outside of the potato rather than inside. The food arrived cold. The brisket from the two-meat plate was inedible, and the toast—which should have been a roll—had an unpleasant soapy taste. The mac and cheese appeared to have been reheated after sitting out all day. Additionally, the BBQ sauce was spilled all over the bag, creating a mess. Despite the rising prices, the quality of the food has declined with each order. I will never order from this place again. It's revolting—there's clearly no pride in the food being served here."

"I ordered 2 rib plates and chose 2 sides each: macncheese, bbq beans, creamed spinach, and potato caserole. The ribs were burnt and hard : , the macncheese was overcooked and mushy. "I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. The beef was very fatty the first time we ordered. We thought a chicken baked potato would be better, but this time it only had a few slices of meat and butter on it. None of the usual toppings were included, not to mention the extra toppings we paid for. The beans were also too sweet and had a strange taste in the second order. Overall, the food was expensive and definitely not worth it."

"This was the worst BBQ experience I've ever had. The burnt ends were just a single slice of overcooked meat, the sausage was cold and looked unappealing, and the cheddar wasn't even melted. The potato salad tasted overwhelmingly of mustard, and the corn muffin was excessively dry. I didn't enjoy a single bite and ended up having to throw most of it away. If I could give it zero stars, I definitely would."

"This is by far the worst restaurant I've ever been to. The service took over an hour. We asked for waffles, but they were out of them. When we requested pancakes, they were also unavailable. Our waitress then suggested biscuits and gravy. However, after waiting for over an hour, she returned to inform us that they had no biscuits and gravy, so I was served toast and a bowl of gravy instead. The food was terrible. When we asked for the bill, the waitress informed us that it was cash only and directed us to an ATM to withdraw cash. We insisted on receiving the check, but she claimed the machine was broken and had us calculate our order ourselves. We also requested a discount, but it was never provided."

"Don 't waste your time or money. We traveled 25 minutes to take advantage of two, 2-meat plates for $29. Could only pick up lunch order after 1:15pm. Arrived at location and the two workers did not greet us for over 5 minutes. Then one worker statedthat they didn 't have the onion tanglers we ordered so we changed to double order of fries. I asked to add on pulled porksandwich and they said I couldn 't do it because it was an on line order. I looked puzzled...I said, cant I just order asandwich separate from order? The worker said, ok. The pop machine and barbecue sauce machine was not operable and therewas a mop and bucket sitting out on the floor. Did not have our original order ready until 1:30pm and everything inside of mesaid to check the order to ensure everything was in there. Sure enough, the double order of fries was not in the bag. The meatwas cool, but tasted well but portions were very small. WOULD NEVER GO BACK! And don 't try calling them because it 's forwardedto voicemail and the voicemail box is full. Very disappointing."

"Today was the 1st time I have been here, the worst part is I'm 51 years old and just now found it. The food was delicious and the service was more than great. Jason introduced me to the manager and his #1 employee, they were all incredibly nice. Also I'm visiting Corsicana taking a few classes till next week there was a regular customer that was kind enough to point me in the direction of a good church to go to tomorrow (Sunday). The prices are fantastic, the food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. I gave them 5 stars become that is as many as I could. The customers would have made it more. If you're in Corsicana you're so lucky to have them around. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Enjoy your visit to Dickey's BBQ! PS- I'm 100's of miles away from home, wife and kids. I miss my family. Dickey's BBQ has the same recipe at everyone of there locations. It's the good people at Corsicana Dickey's BBQ that made all the difference to me. "The restaurant had a western feel and resembled the picture. There was plenty of well-seasoned and pickled meat, making it delicious. I especially enjoyed their iced tea and sweet tea. I ordered the friends and jalapeño dish which was also excellent. Overall, it was a great evening meal. However, I have had negative experiences in the past due to management and staff issues. Despite this, I continue to visit for their tasty BBQ. Fortunately, on this occasion, the manager and coworkers were great and everything was clean. I hope the current manager stays on as they did a wonderful job."

"I ordered 3 items. I was given the wrong thing for 2 of the 3 thingshow does that happen. I ordered a bowl of chili which is supposed to come with brisket, pork, cheese, and chivesthe bowl I was given had ZERO brisket, pork, cheese, or chives. I also ordered (1) slice of Texas toast, and was given a “breadstick,” 1/2 the size of an Olive Garden breadstick. Mind you, there were no other customers in the restaurantso it’s not like they were swamped, busy, etc., to excuse the poor accuracy of my order. Poor service 4/23/25 Update: You can see managements reply, and their decision to not replace/provide the original items that were ordered, and not provided at pickup. IE., because they’re not serious about fixing the issuesas demonstrated by the multitude of bad reviews left by customers. BEWARE Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5"
