"Don't be fooled by the location! While it's located in a gas station, this restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The ribs are incredibly tender and practically fall off the bone, and the chicken is juicy and packed with flavor! The smothered cabbage and coleslaw are homemade and simply delightful. I will definitely be coming back!"

"My daughter 's birthday was this month and we wanted to go big for this one. I reached out to Shaffer 's via email and asked about the type of cake I was looking for. I sent photos and the gal I was in communication with was very helpful and said she could definitely do what I was wanting. It turned out BEAUTIFULLY and I couldn 't have been happier. I knew my daughter would be over the moon. The cost was reasonable and well-worth it! I know that elsewhere I 'd have paid quite a bit more. When I went to pick up the cake, the gal at the counter was very helpful in getting the cake into my car. I 'm returning for my son 's birthday in 5 months! The cake itself was delicious and not dry. Everyone loved it!"
