"As I mentioned on Yelp about a year ago, I’ll say it again—this is Lafayette’s best-kept secret. To many, it may seem like just another barbecue spot inside a gas station, but step inside and I guarantee the food will amaze you. The chicken is incredibly tender, falling right off the bone, and the ribs are just as delicious. The only downside is that they’re closed on Sundays, which is a shame because many of us Cajuns love enjoying BBQ on a Sunday."

Don't let the location (inside a gas station) fool you. This is a good place to grab some BBQ. Walk thru the cafeteria line, select your meal with sides. Eat at the plenty of tables they have. A nice quick, sit down BBQ meal. View menu

Ribs and brisket are our favorites. Meats have great smoked flavor. Chopped beef sandwich is a tasty satisfying lunch. Brisket by the pound is delicious but be sure to get some of the au jus on the side for reheating and keeping the meat moist. Consistently good barbecue.

The BBQ combination plate was fantastic. The meat effortlessly falls off the ribs, tender and juicy. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the sausage had an outstanding taste. Portion sizes were generous, as were the sides. I had avoided stopping here before because it’s located inside a gas station/convenience store, but I really missed out on some amazing BBQ. Don’t make the same mistake!
