"I decided to try 306 BBQ while visiting Florence because one of my professors at UNA mentioned it in a math problem (yes, really). The restaurant has a nice ambiance and is located in a great spot, plus the staff were friendly. However, the BBQ itself was quite mediocre. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and while it wasn’t bad, it didn’t stand out in any way. There was little smoky flavor, and the sauce tasted very ordinary. The mac and cheese I ordered as a side was also disappointing; it lacked flavor and the pasta was overcooked. On the bright side, the prices were reasonable, especially when compared to BBQ joints in Birmingham, which can be quite expensive."
